  1. Transitions....... I have had my share of them since the age of 17. Since receiving the worst possible call you could imagine one even(well actually my older sister picked up the phone). It was the hospital saying we need to rush to the hospital because my parents were in an accident. So my sister and I rushed to the hospital but it was too late as they both had passed before we got there from the injuries from the car accident. Devastated and not knowing what was ahead for me my older sister(only 20 at the time) all of the sudden became an adult out of nowhere. She was amazing as I finished my Junior Year in High School and she was in college she talked with my Grandparents and other people on what to do to keep us together as I was still a minor. Transition #2: Leaving all the memories behind and moving into a small apartment with my sister. Sure we had the opportunity to move in with one of our Grand Moms who lived close, but her husband my Grand Pop was sick and we didn't think that was the right thing to do. My other Grand Parents lived a distance away and me going into my Senior Year of High School my sister wanted me to keep my friends and not move far away. So she made this happen, but working more hours and switching to night school and some online classes. After all that finally Transition #3 several years later: I graduated college as had my sister and I recently moved to my own place with my dog and will be starting my first year of teaching Kindergarten this Fall.
  2. To be honest going into this live version of Beauty and the Beast I didn't have high hopes. Coming out though I was pleasantly surprised. Emma Watson as Belle with both her acting portrayal and singing voice was good enough to hold the iconic role together and there were moments like the ballroom dance scene where she was spectacular. Dan Stevens as the The Beast was absolutely amazing. He had both qualities of the menacing Beast as well as the gentleness that shown through as he fell in love. His song "Evermore" was a showstopper. Luke Evans as Gaston portrayed him differently than the animated version as with more emphasis on his past as a hero in the war and his love for that. He also did a great job. As for Lumiere, Cogworth, Mrs. Potts, and Chip they also put forth very good performances. The most outstanding performance in my opinion was from Josh Gad as LeFou, he was fantastic in every way. His performance in the song "Gaston" alongside Luke Evans was outstanding.
  3. I have been to see P!nk, Kat Dahlia, and Lorde.
  4. Gardening is one of my favorite things as in flower gardening. I never had much success with the veggie gardens in the past. Now that I have a place of my own and have moved out of my older sisters home, I have a small area for planting some flowers and my favorite Tulips.
  5. My pride and joy my little Buster 6 year old Shih Tzu.
