I am so sorry. That is so awful. Things certainly do happen quickly. I lost both my parents in an automobile accident shortly after I turned turned 17 and my older sister was 20. My Mom was 45 and my Dad was 46.

I definitely feel that Stef's former teen flame now neighbors son will develop into something. I know Mariana is certainly thinking he is pretty hot and wouldn't mind getting to know him better.

They all certainly have relationship problems or to say the least confusions. I suppose a lot of that comes with being teenagers as I wasn't much better back when I was 14-16 years old. Also without these issues this show wouldn't be what it is and what this show is for me is great.

@Zola I couldn't agree more. With all the shit that has been in the news lately I have chosen to selectively ignore the news as much as I possible can. I have found it to be almost impossible though to 100% ignore it with all the media outlets out there that it is so easy to stumble upon something you may not want to.

The entire relationships thing with all the kids in the family are mess. Everyone of the kids seem to hop from one relationship to the next without really giving much time to settle down from the last relationship they were in. Callie jumps from AJ to Aaron at a moments notice. Brandon was with Cortney and then starts sleeping with Grace. Mariana was with Nick and then back with Mat for a day and now is all of the sudden into her neighbor. Jesus even with all of his problems seems to have settled and really wants to be with Emma. And Jude is young so I really don't know what is to come for him. The whole thing with Callie possibly making another poor decision if she attends the protest risking arrest will put me over the edge with her. All she has been through and the amount of times the Lena and Stef have told her to start making better decision concerning herself it is starting to get ridiculous. I hope she makes the right one here. The whole Jude and Connor smoking pot thing is getting kind of old as well.

Yeah, I understand that was a much different time then and there is a lot more information on safe sex practices. Still kids and me being one of them back not so long ago still fucked up in there judgement and it still happens today. Same can be said for smoking cigarettes. Older people can say why do kids these days start smoking with all the information out there that is is so harmful. It is because of peer pressure and also lack of judgement. Same thing with sex. For me as I am not in a place to speak on any other teen but myself it was because my other teen friends were getting drunk, smoking, and having sex. Most of the time thank God I had at least decent enough good judgement to use a condom, but there were a few times I didn't and it could have hit me with major consequences.

They certainly do have a huge part in our lives. I think it is great that there is a place where anyone can let out there emotions and people are so understanding and helpful. Please feel free to keep posting as needed as we all have you in our thoughts.

Unfortunately, you are correct. I think it is more a learning experience that teens have to go through. I had to go through it, you did, and many others.

@emma675 I am so sorry for your loss. One consolation of this awful passing is that Olivia went peacefully. Even though I am new here and don't know of you, but you will surely be in my thoughts and prayers.

I put my parents through hell during my Freshman and Sophomore year and there are still nights I sit and cry about it because they are now both gone. I am lucky I never got any of these diseases and also pregnant. I did use condoms most of the time, but not always. Like I said I would not indulge in this personal past shit unless I thought there might be one person here that might be 14, 15, 16 ,17 years old that might read this and have it in the back of their heads.

I choose to stand because basically when it comes down to it, I have the right to do so. I don't disrespect the people who don't stand because they choose not to stand as it is there right as well. The way I look at it is, I am a young woman and I could have been born in a country where there look at women as an object without many rights at all or even no rights. So why not stand for something that is suppose to honor of country. Yeah, our country in my opinion still has some things to work on for equality for damn sure in many areas and it may not even be in my lifetime that I see this happen, but I have seen some growth and also some setbacks. The thing is if I was in one of those other countries there would be no opportunity for growth as there are no opportunities for certain people.

I like my steak Medium Rare as well. @Qoass How many guys I slept with during high school will never go away and I can never go back and take any of that past away. The only thing I can do is move forward and learn from my past. Does that mean I have never experienced sex since high school, definitely not. The thing is my relationships I choose to engage in have more meaning now than the ones back in high school and I am also much more emotionally stable to handle those sort of things where I am at in life now then I was at 14 and 15 years old.

So many stupid things I did my Freshman and Sophomore year of high school from drinking underage, smoking, and the several guys I had sex with before I was even close to being ready to have sex. Yes I survived this, but it led to labeling me throughout my high school days as someone who was easy even when later in my Junior and Senior year when I started changing. I am glad those days are over and behind me and it was my own stupid fault that they happened. I guess I am posting this not really for myself, but if there are high school kids on here to think about there actions so possibly they don't have to go through the same shit I had to.

They did succeed getting him off the Sex Offenders list from a call from Mike to the DA office on Gabe's behalf that helped.

I call this Turkey Loaf but it looks more like a Turkey Log. It comes in a tin full of Turkey Gravy that it is already in. You pop it in the oven and cook it for a few hours and it is done. Then you slice it. It is really simple and taste pretty damn good with corn and cranberry sauce.

Yep, I have done that, but the Turkey Loaf is a bit easier and easier is good when it still tastes good.

This is like a Turkey Loaf, not a full Turkey. I am only cooking for 1 so cooking a full Turkey unless I would have company over would be too much. Even if I wanted to have a ton of Turkey leftover sandwiches.
