  1. Well it is the best during the Summer. That and Maryland Steamed Crabs.
  2. I forgot about Punch Drunk Love. He was good in that. I never saw Funny People.
  3. Grilled Chicken Breast, Corn on the Cob, and Au Gratin Potatoes.
  4. First I want to say I don't get into Rap Music but really it isn't because of the profanity. Hell, you pretty much turn on the Pop Stations now and Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato, Ariana Grande, and let's not forget Miley Cyrus are swearing in a lot of music they are performing. The thing that really turns me off about Rap music is how most of the lyrics have a terrible message behind it or they are degrading to women. That is what turns me off to the whole Rap music scene.
  5. Here is a song by Fleetwood Mac sung by Christine McVie called "Oh Daddy" that really reminds me of me as a young teen looking up to my dad and I could never measure up, but he loved me for me. The song came out way before I was even born, but when I heard it for the first time it instantly reminded me of him.
  6. Jerry Lewis was a really funny guy. He will be missed. May he Rest In Peace.
  7. Music definitely does soothe the soul and it hasn't even been 6 years yet since that tragic day in my life. I can sit there and listen to something brand new and many times something can relate to my Mom or Dad.
  8. Changing it up this evening to a song that makes me cry every time I listen to it because I lost both of my parents when I was 17 in a tragic auto accident. This beautiful song comes from Lady Maisery and it is called A Father's Lullaby.
  9. They are both amazing artist. This particular song is one of my favorites.
  10. 2Cellos rock AC/DC's Thunderstruck
  11. Corn of The Cob. I know it is best during the Summer Months, but I wish it was good all year around because I would eat it as a side for all meals. I love it.
  12. Wegman's is the big place to do food shopping in my area. Can be quite expensive so you have to pick and choose for good prices. It works for me most of the time because I am shopping for just myself so if something I find is too expensive I just skip it and change my weekly planning for food because it doesn't really affect anyone but myself.
  13. One musical artist I just don't get is Nicki Minaj. I know she has made tons of cash rapping and being somewhat foul, but have you ever heard her actually sing normal. She has a fantastic voice. When I heard her just singing I had no idea it was actually her. She was flipping swear words every other word and it sounded like a nice R & B sound. I don't understand why she don't go down that path as she definitely has some talent there.
  14. I remember I had a baby teeth pillow. Whenever I lost a tooth there was a little compartment to put the tooth in and then my Mom would write on the pillow over the compartment where the tooth was the date I lost the tooth. I wonder where that little pillow is now. It must be in a box somewhere.
  15. The thing is with forums is you have to be who you are and if people don't like what you are saying "So What". It is one persons point of view on something. That other person can choose to either, like you said ignore it or post there view on the subject. The problem stems when people start getting personal which there is no need for that sort of stuff on a forum. 99% of the time you are never going to meet these people on the forum so why get so involved to make something personal out of it. All that is doing is stirring up trouble in my opinion.
  16. I certainly agree that the timeline has gotten way out of hand and they need to slow down with the progression of some of these far out story lines that keep popping up left and right. I think it is different with sitcom shows such as The Big Bang Theory or prior to that Friends who have a loose general plot to the background, but the story from week to week changes. Shows such as lets say a very popular new show The Handmaid's Tale although not realistic at all really didn't really have a timeline that was great at all for the first season which was 10 episodes. The one Handmaid came there, was impregnated, and had the baby, and shipped off to another home all in 10 episodes. So many dramas don't stick to a strict timeline or a realistic one. Maybe the writers are getting lazy(I hope not) because the show does have a huge following now and they could be just slacking and saying what the hell they will watch it anyway because they are hooked. I guess I am one of those viewers who are hooked because I do enjoy the characters and can sort of relate a bit because back when I was 17 both of my parents were tragically killed in an auto accident and it was left up to me and my older sister who was 20 at that time to fend off the State to keep us together. They wanted me either to go live with my Grandparents out of State or Aunt & Uncle who I wasn't close to out of State or a Foster home until I was 18 practically right both my parents were killed. Yes. so the State wanted to split me and my sister up pretty much right after that happened. To make a long story short, it didn't happen because my sister pretty much dropped her life and her Senior Year of college to get Full Time job and to do Part Time Online Classes at night so we could be together. It all worked out in the end. So they had me hooked from the beginning I suppose. I do wish they would slow down some of the things like the kids hopping from one relationship to the next and sleeping with everyone that comes into there path. I know this isn't realistic for most, but for me between the ages of 14-16 I certainly did my share of that as well even though I am not proud of it. I am definitely hanging with this show till the end mostly because I do relate in some ways to it and I do realize that most shows dramatize everything just like The Fosters are doing.
  17. All these people dying so young is just awful. May they all RIP.
  18. I don't get headaches or motion sickness from 3-D movies, but it certainly is not worth the extra money to see a 3-D movie in the theater over the regular version in my opinion.
  19. My sister is coming over for the evening so Indian Takeout from a local place called Sizzling Bombay. We will just decide on a bunch of stuff and mix and match. Plus we will have quite a bit of Wine for the evening as well.
  20. 2Cellos: Welcome To The Jungle(GNR)
  21. My favorites are the Sex Bomb, Ups-A-Daisy, and Blackberry Bomb.
  22. In the same vein and I know Adam Sandler has done some pretty decent comedy with Happy Gilmore and The Wedding Singer, but the roles are all pretty much the same. His performance in his pretty much only non comedic role in Reign Over Me was absolutely brilliant.
