  1. Odd that nothing was announced regarding Dabb's absence. Maybe they did....? But nothing mentioned in tweets or articles. I mean, it's a big deal. Why wasn't he there or his absence even explained? I'm reading all kinds of stuff into it.... which I can hope for but cannot post here.
  2. I don't think there will be another season of Orange Housewives surely? This was a bore. The only unpredictable HW is Vicki because she blurts out whatever pops into her tiny brain and it can be either funny or horrifying. I'm sure she forgets there are cameras about. Emily always looks like 'who just farted?' and Gina's attempts at shit-stirring are too obvious to be interesting. None of them are even housewives, they're mostly single aren't they? Either bring in a whole new bunch or forget this franchise.
  3. This is why I enjoy Ketch and want to see him again in future episodes. But they'll probably whitewash him and make him predictable like Jack, Cas, etc.
  4. According to Clarissa (whoever she is?) Dabb wasn't on the red carpet nor did he attend the party. A bit odd unless he was sick or something?
  5. When I see photos of Jensen with his children I feel a stab of pity for Dean. He would’ve been such a great husband and dad. But he never got a chance. It is a tragedy. *wrong thread sorry
  6. I'm in Canada and we must wear seatbelts across the shoulder not under the armpit like all the drivers here. Otherwise we'd be fined. Steven is the equivalent of a petulant 3 year old toddler demanding his own way. I hope the camera crew stick around them while in Russia, because Olga and her baby could be in danger if things don't go his way. Asuelo seems kind of dimwitted. Not only taking a baby out of a car seat at high speeds but hiking the young infant with a wobbly head up on his shoulders. Surely he was around children in his homeland. Seems like they have a lots of babies there, he should have more common sense surely. Poor Debbie. I don't think it was staged either. A camera crew bursting into her room while she's deep in sleep. I wouldn't have been so nice about it. The messy homes. Yikes!! And there is no way that guy without lips (can't remember name) is 40. No way. Why doesn't he move to Indonesia with the wealthy parents? He doesn't seem to have feelings for his own family and probably won't miss them. His woman with the lipstick must be dead keen to get to into the US if she's willing to put up with his mess of a life.
  7. The quote that popped immediately to my mind after reading the Eat Pie, Kill Demons was - I went to Purgatory, Sam hit a dog.
  8. I was much more fascinated by that fake hair than the issue of the day. I long for a REAL doozie of a catfish story like we used to get back in the old days. The woman that was so pleased with herself because she hid wads of cash in a cornflakes box to send to Nigeria. Mindboggling.
  9. That's an interesting point. As showrunner you'd think he'd be front and centre in at least a few pix.
  10. If they're going with S15 and even S16 then someone needs to have a word with Dabb. We've always had a kind of intimate up close relationship with the brothers but now it's a cast of thousands.
  11. I hope some of this makes it into the entertainment magazines and TV. It's quite an accomplishment. This is not an ensemble like other shows that have this kind of longevity. They all look gorgeous, hope they had a great time. Thanks for posting gonzo!
  12. How much difference does the the Live + 3 make to the other shows' demo? And do the people at the top take note of things like Live+ 3 demos? I think Supernatural has a loyal audience, but they're drifting away because of repetitive storylines. Same thing with TWD. I never missed an episode, but I haven't watched now in 2 years.
  13. Last year we got 0.8 and 180+ at this time. Oh well, times are changing. People don't watch live anymore. Under Dabb the show seems to be targetting the younger generation - Dean is called 'old' , features love-struck teen girl , teen Jack all pretty and suffering from consumption. A young girls' dream. A teenage story. Yet I think the viewing age is probably older than Dabb's target audience. I enjoyed the episode, but I really want some grown up stuff now. (Not Mobby or Messed Up Nick). Why aren't we getting more Michael mentions? It's supposed to be the season 14 focus isn't it? Maybe not?
  14. Me too. I have to admit I wasn't tempted to pick up the iPad, but sat back with a glass of wine and enjoyed the episode. It was ok, although Dick's directional techniques are a bit heavyhanded. I'm surprised we didn't have the circling cameras. Under Dabb's tenure hunting has become the fun thing to do. I'm sure there'll be unions, a pension and hopefully health insurance soon for poor Jack's consumption. Hunting is no longer the lonely, dangerous, tragic existence it was for young Dean and Sam. And it can all be learned overnight.
  15. I'd be floored if one of the Js left Supernatural. For one thing... no matter how much Dabb tries... it's not an ensemble. We STILL want Dean and Sam adventures. Which is pretty amazing after all these years and a tribute to the guys' acting and character portrayal (certainly not writing, especially in latter seasons) The show would die a quick death without Dean or Sam. I wish with ALL MY HEART that the Wayward Sues would've been picked up and they took with them Dabb, the boring AU SLs &characters, Mobby soap, past his sell by date Nick, and sickly Jack. Dean and Sam, TFW, Cas (and maybe Ketch?) would be free to return Supernatural to the show that that we know and love.
  16. The Js film all over the place in time and location. I don't think it's until they actually watch an episode on TV that they get an inkling of the way stories are weaving. So their input is not particularly valid in terms of story. But it gets up my nose that last Spring Jensen was over the moon about Michael and that the arc was going to last longer than he even imagined. Whatever he was told has not happened. Jensen would never phone it in, but he's got to be super bummed. I would imagine Dabb won't get a Christmas card from the Ackles this year. And Jensen might speak out loud again on the convention stage. He's got nothing to lose now. The Michael story has been shunted aside for much weaker SLs. Dabb doesn't have a clue what's interesting and what's not.
  17. This should probably be in unpopular opinions, but I don't get the impression the Js really know what's good for the show's storyline. they might have input for their characters, but not story IMO. Add to this the fact that Dabb just keeps pushing the brothers aside to make room for characters we couldn't care less about... I don't have much hope. And if they have to drag everything until May Sweeps next year, then it's going to be one gaping hiatus after another which doesn't bode well for this type of series. I hope we don't limp to the end of 14 only to have it be the last season. The show deserves better.
  18. Yikes the BH housewives would die rather than be seen without 4 layers of false eyelashes, foundation spackled 3 inches deep and squeezed like sausages into weird outfits. At least the Orange girls let it all hang out sometimes. But for me the most entertaining franchise is New York. They know how to fight, but they also know how to have fun. And Bethany has the sharpest and funniest comebacks ever.
  19. Terrible acting from the actress in this snip. This kind of overacting really gets up my nose. It’s so unnatural. Who talks like this in real life? I wish directors would make some attempt for realism instead of this attitude acting we get all the time. It’s so fake. And, yes, realism would mean she’d notice and react to a stunning looking guy before her. Just once I’d like to see this happen. Even if she fiddled with her hair or something. At least it would be realistic instead of this fake over the top smarty pants attitude. Only about 5% of the human population can be considered good looking. They’re quite rare ??
  20. I have to agree with with the mother - what on earth does the daughter see in this guy. His continual smirk and mocking 'yessir' made me want to punch him hard (and I'm a pacifist). Good grief, girl, have some respect for yourself and smarten up.
  21. Gina instigated the 'Shannon doesn't want to be friends with me' then sat back and smirked while the others ganged up on Shannon. Later she visits Shannon to tell her that her 'friends' spent the next day saying bad stuff about her, but mostly best friend Tamra. Although she states "I just wanted her to know what her friends are saying about her', Gina doesn't give one fig about Shannon. Her intention is to simply shit stir so that she stays on the show. She doesn't have much else to offer. But stick a fork in it, I think the show is done. None of them are interesting or intelligent enough to carry an episode without resorting to screeching and stomping off in a huff. If they're not drunk and yelling at each other there's nothing else.
  22. Reality TV is quite popular and extremely cheap. Sit-coms are expensive because of the high salaries of the actors (I choke calling these people actors - they say a line and wait for the laugh). But I think reality and sit-coms will be the fodder for network TV and options such as Netflix will stream series such as Supernatural. The landscape of TV is changing. Supernatural will go down in the history books. It's not an ensemble with revolving main characters or actors. The Js have carried the weight on their broad shoulders and congrats to them. And it's STILL Dean and Sam that we want to see (not a cast of thousands, Dabb!) even after all these years. Quite an achievement I'd say. But 0.3.... ouch! How could the demo be high but rating low? And it wasn't even a particularly bad episode. I don't get Nielsen.
  23. I used to post at IMDb message boards which had a much larger community and could become quite raucous at times. It's way more civil here, although I wish there were more posters. I feel it's just a dozen or so of us. This is a good place. Too bad we don't have much joy to post about.
  24. I agree with article. It should be tweeted to Dabb. Dean and Sam are no longer attached to the storyline. And I think the reason Dean and his mother haven't had any conversations is because of the actresses' inability to project warmth. So Dean has heart to hearts with the guest star (daughter in this episode).
  25. I think they gave the interviewer a bigger blue chair. Thank goodness, because it was nerve wracking waiting for the smaller one to topple over as she swiveled about. Angela seemed medicated, but must've lost it for a few seconds because they cut her words. We're being so manipulated with set up situations that the producers are actually making the show boring and predictable. Everyone has a friend/relative with an issue. Duh! They are falling into a formula mode. Why does Larissa add an 'e' sound to her words? Is it a Portuguese thing?
