I'm not sure what to think. I don't hate it (like Alien: Covenant), but I'm not raving about it, either. Pennywise never really impressed me when I was a kid, and after reading about how great this actor was, I was expecting something different. He was more unsettling in places - I will give him that. There were a lot of laughs from one corner of the theatre, and I laughed quite a bit, too. I had to reserve seats for a slightly later showing, because it's still selling out here. I loved Eddie, and Ben was adorable. Georgie was, too. I wasn't expecting him to get his arm bitten off. :( and that arm coming out of the sewer was creepy. It's been so long since I saw the first one, that I'd forgotten a couple of names, and didn't know who they were. there was too little Mike in this one. It took them long enough to get him into the group. I have the mini series recorded, so will watch that another time. I thought Ben was already a part of the group, not new. Mike was the new kid, right? Speaking of new kids: I loved that little line, "don't go away girl", and then that little bit of Hangin' Tough, when Bev sees the poster on the back of the door. I felt slightly nostalgic, since I was their age in 1988.

So the cricket in the house, was Meg's phone - she was in there? that song in the end credits was bugging me, and then I realized where I'd heard it: Gilmore Girls, in a short film made by a character.

I watched this season over the last twenty-four hours, and now I'm in tears. I wasn't sure I'd be able to handle it, due to losses of my own, but I wanted to see what happened. Damn.

I started to say that this morning, and then deleted it. I got "The Omen" vibes, too. I hadn't thought of the baby from the first season, though.

One that nag that bothered me, was that she seemed to be more interested in angling an invitation to a party, with a certain famous guest. She was in awe of the people he got to be around, and didn't appreciate. Unless I'm forgetting something (which is likely), her interest seemed to develop from his lack of interest at first. He did the same thing as Jess: waited for her to bring it up. Only because he knew the movie reference, and probably because he was polite. He didn't snark back. She didn't know him at all, at that point.

She was sharp with Dean, too, before he spoke to her. She dropped her stuff, and he was standing too close to her.

I've had huge panic attacks like that, so I don't find Ally annoying. Normally, I would like that the spouse is holding to their wedding vows, and not just taking off. This time, I'm half wondering if Ivy voted for trump secretly, knowing he would terrify Ally. That clown speaking to Oz was creepy. The one later on. that last bit felt like the movie Halloween, until she shot Pedro. i still like it, so far. I hope it doesn't go off the rails.

So he let his little brother die. Did he kill his dad with that thing, too? Or was he hit by lightning?

Someone here said that we do, but I don't think that's the case. It looks like he's there for season two. :)

I watched it when I was fifteen, and had the flu, so I wasn't totally with it. When it first aired on TV. I watched it every year on lifetime, starting around 1998/1999, because I love the kid's part, but the adults were terrible. I also don't remember thinking thaf Tim curry was the greatest, but he was spooky at times. I was align to a friend of mine who lies Stephen King, and we're both happy to hear so many good reviews. I've been looking forward to it.

I wonder why we got all if the bee imagery, in the ads. Whether it's representative of the holes that freak people out (partly), or hive mind. Bees also serve a queen bee, though.

I blocked him on Twitter, but people generally tweet him just to express themselves. I also don't think that Kai is a trump supporter especially. I think he was one that just enjoys the fall-out from anything shocking. The guy in the store was, though - unless that was just part of the act (to freak out Ally).

I really wanted to see this, this weekend, but any times I checked were almost full (only the front seats were empty). I'm glad that the new Pennywise is good - I think Will Poulter was attached before? And I remember them saying that his audition had been amazing.

I saw the original at a drive-in, not long after we moved to America. I was just a teenager, and now I feel older than I like. It's been so long, that I forgot Kiefer was in it. i liked the original (loved The Lost Boys, too), but it isn't one that ve watched much. I don't know why. I might see this, but I'm not sure.

I can't remember. I'll have to start watching again. I was sure they made it sound like his real dad had run off, and left them in the lurch, when Jess was older. Then we get to hear about his mother's many boyfriends, and how she's been married more than once, so maybe she considered them to be his father(s) each time.

This article says that Kai and Ally will "a love story for the ages". With so much focus on her being the scared one, I had wondered if I was focusing too much on Ivy possibly being involved with him. I assumed she was related to him, or something. Emma Roberts was cast, but I don't know how big her role is. I just remember a picture of her, smartly dressed, on Instagram. I wondered yesterday, if Winter was talking to Ivy on the phone. They both said something about working so hard to get Hillary elected.

I watched it again, because I missed certain things. She also asked which of his mums carried him. I wonder if Ivy was pregnant when they met.

That was part of what I was referring to, when I mentioned it.

I don't know. Ally mentioned someone else, too, but I can't remember the name. I'm a die-hard lefty, and I found it amusing. The trigger warning comment, and Ally going on about how she was okay when Obama was president. Her little boy seeing the clowns, and the murders, shows that she isn't always imagining things. That poor kid. Although I can't see anyone giving a little kid a comic like that. I wonder how he got it.

I fast-forwarded through parts of this, and I rarely do that.

I can't believe I didn't get the Cheetos thing! I didn't even know what he'd put in the blender, and painted on his face and hair.

I wondered about that.

In the preview, was Kai running for the opposition that was just vacated, thanks to the murder of the Changs?

Someone wondered if there was a connection between Kai and their family. I briefly wondered if Ivy might be their sister. I can't remember who Winter was talking to, on the phone, if she mentioned a name.
