I was just checking Octavia Spencer's imdb page and it says she's in pre-production on Ascendant, which is going to be a tv movie. Where? Interestingly, the cast list on imdb for Ascendant doesn't mention Shailene Woodley or Theo James.

Hostiles is such a slow, sedate movie, infused with sadness for the end of the Old West era, the end of the Native America lifestyle as well as the end of the cavalry era. I understand it isn't designed as an action movie, but it could have used less conversation and more action. Or else they could have cut it down some. I resisted rooting for Christian Bale's character, because he's such an asshole through the whole thing. I wish we could have delved into Rory Cochran's character more, though. Great additional actors such as West Studi, and Adam Beach, and Ben Foster (whom I love in everything he does). And man, Timothee Chalamet has been busy this year.

Michael Logan tweeted that Genie Francis needs to be picked up by Days (GH fans are in an outrage over her being dumped over there), and Robin Strasser seconded that notion.

If the nomination is for This is Me, there would be no reason for Jackman or Efron to perform it, since it isn't their song.

What I was trying to post during yesterday's show before the site crashed: Jeez, starting off the show with all of these dreams and flashbacks. Calm down, Show. Gabi's dress isn't fitting well. The sleeves are gaping and the blue rings around them aren't lying flat. They're showing us the flashbacks of Kate and Andre's night, I guess we'll get the flashbacks from everybody else at some point. Valerie's red outfit is gorgeous. "Gabi, what are you doing here?" Wow, Abigail, way to be inhospitable.

Urk. The first time I read that, I missed the word "nod" and went off in my head. :D

My 89 year old mother says she'll quit watching if Joy leaves or if Meghan gets even more dominance on the show.

There was a lot of bad sportsmanship on display during the sailing leg. Thank you, Phil, for explaining the rules of that ball game to us. It would have made no sense otherwise. Did Phil really say, "Cedric, obviously you're disappointing"? Lucas and Brittany went from last to first? Wow. That proposal was sweet. Lucas put pressure on all the other guys. :)

Police were called to the Kansas team dorm because some guy kept coming to the dorm to show them how to shoot freethrows.

Especially with all the yelling.
