  1. Isn't the writer's name Ava? Maybe this is something Deborah's lawyers have ready to go, they just change the name and circumstances?? I'm loving these episodes so far. They're really hitting their stride now.
  2. The show was entertaining, but I agree that they tried to infuse too much drama. The placement order at the end was on point, the Dominerds were the best team every week. I would watch a second season.
  3. Mel noticed and mentioned the cookie jar a couple of times when at Ruth's. (Although Ruth could have told him that it held her father's ashes, which Mel would probably not have thought anything about it further.) Then when he saw the cookie jar at the motel he became suspicious, because...who brings their cookie jar to their place of business if not to share said cookies?? Not that it was tied to Jonah at that time yet, it was still in the office.
  4. I agree, the Dominerds dominated the dominoes this week. They are the team to beat. The older gentlemen, can't remember their team name, while some of the stunts are impressive, it was definitely their time to go. Which team had the Romeo and Juliet hot wheels theme? That story was a Hot Mess and made absolutely no sense. How in the world does Romeo/Juliet = Hot wheels?
  5. Yes, however his real age (53) is too old to be playing a professional basketball player.
  6. I thought the assistant (Tina) saw the order come through the fax and shredded it. That was on the Pam show, not sure if it happened IRL.
  7. Yet if Askey admitted she was wrong, then she would be....wrong. Some people can't admit to being wrong and will double down on the lie to avoid it. Or, like you said, someone has advised her to stick to her story due to the new investigation.
  8. Unlike my thin, perky mother-in-law who doesn't have and never had the fat gene, who says chirpily "just go on a diet". Snap! Why didn't I think of that??? You go, Valerie! Live your life, be happy. There are millions of women like you, you're welcome to join our club.
  9. GaT, try thinking of a puzzle. Christian forgot one piece of the puzzle, but the judges could look at the puzzle, and say, "That's a puzzle of a ___________. It has a piece missing, but we know it's a puzzle of a ___________. We can judge it as a puzzle with one piece missing." Madison was missing three-fourths of his puzzle. He has a few pieces, but not really enough that it was a true puzzle. The judges wouldn't be able to figure out what it was. When put next to Amanda's completed puzzle there's no doubt that hers would have won because she had more pieces. I look at it this way - when you are done plating and are ready to present to the judges, hands go up, signaling "I'm done". Which Christian did. Madison did not, because he wasn't done, he ran out of time and thus was disqualified.
  10. My understanding was that they (Carolyn and Eve) were assigned by M6 in season 1 to find/break up "The Twelve". And in their convoluted 4 seasons, they finally did that, with Villanelle eventually joining with Eve. Although Carolyn and Eve were on entirely different paths to achieve the same goal. But, who is Yousef, and how did he get involved with Eve? Was he also employed by M6? Was Eve still employed/being paid by M6? And the makeout/sex session after just having peed together?? Just ewwww.
  11. ^^^ ITA. My husband loves it, for me it's just ok. It's pretty cheesy - someone on one of these threads compared it to '80s action TV shows.
  12. I think I read this series is 6 episodes - that can't be! They can't possible tie this all up in two more episodes?!? That being said, I knew nothing about this case until this show, and it is absolutely delicious! I can't wait to see more. And when it's over, I'm going to binge every news story and podcast regarding the case. I've been holding out so far and it's killing me!
  13. I really enjoy this group without Sunny. She can be so loud and obnoxious.
  14. She certainly resembles her dad. And I thought the unibrow was a no-go these days?
  15. ...yet! But Pam hasn't had the freedom to fulfill the murderous tendencies, but when she does, maybe that will all come out. Especially now since she got rid of her oppressive brother. Pam is evolving. See her joy on the carnival ride. She's starting to transform.
  16. I call shenanigans. This happened a couple of times in previous seasons too. Chefs who do their homework should now know that when Guy asks that, they need to reverse psychology and tell him what they DO want 😉
  17. No, not new information about Villanelle, but seeing Pam following Villanelle's path. Sorry, should have clarified: "Bringing "Pam" out of her dark and into her light, by allowing "Pam's" psychopathic tendencies to blossom. That Pam's not truly happy unless she can fulfill her murderous urges." By making Pam a hired assassin, it allows her to follow through on those urges, just like they did with Villanelle.
  18. Maybe they are focusing on Pam's evolution as assassin as how they evolved Villanelle? Bringing her out of her dark and into her light, by allowing her psychopathic tendencies to blossom. That she's not truly happy unless she can fulfill her murderous urges.
  19. I hope so. I don't need to hear him "sing" either...
  20. Calling it now… Kevin eventually marries (as evidenced by the wedding ring in the flash forward) but not to Cassidy or Sophie or Madison. He’ll marry the Seabee construction manager he met working on the cabin near the end of the episode.
  21. Re: New Years. The team was really in over their heads. I expected the ball drop to be similar to Times Square, with the ball slowly dropping downward, not flung like a wrecking ball. Also, their Happy NY should have been spelled out, because to me it looked like Happy New York. I think some teams, from last week and this week, saw a casting call for dominoes builders and thought, hey we can do this and get on teevee, even though they have zero experience (this goes for some of the teams on Lego Masters as well).
  22. It seems like the DA’s assistant isn’t quite buying the “Russ did it” story. She is side-eying some of the conversations. I wonder if that will come into play later…
  23. And with that, I noticed the scores were quite a bit lower with this group of judges...
  24. I guess I was remembering Katy Mixon from her Mike and Molly days. I loved her in that show, she was so funny yet tender sometimes.
