  1. I'd rather have Neve than Yaya. I thought Neve played Maggie extremely bland, but I'd rather that than Yaya chewing up all the scenery.
  2. And Sandy didn't know that Mansell ("Tighty-Whitey", my name for him) or the Albanians were dead. She had to disappear.
  3. To me it looks like she got her lips plumped (injected? implants?) along with a bunch of botox. She's beautiful, why do these beautiful women ruin their looks with these silly treatments/surgeries?
  4. I guess I don't understand why they needed a 2-sided fireplace. The second side was in the hallway. And I didn't really see why the designer was so up in arms about her signature wall in the shower having to be interrupted with the fixtures. I didn't see how they got around that issue.
  5. Is there any way to watch old episodes, like all of them? I’ve found a few on YouTube but they are few and far between. I’d like to start around 1979-ish.
  6. Watched last night and found out her name is Kimmberly. 2 m's. And she still irritates me.
  7. I get that, but I wish they found an actor to play Maggie that has a little more spitfire/energy/pizzazz (whatever word I'm looking for) to her.
  8. I kept wondering, when are they going to bring up the balloons? The series ending was inferior and didn’t make much sense. I prefer the book version.
  9. Well this verdict and ending doesn’t make a lot of sense. The book version was better. Minority opinion here but I like Lorna and Cisco together and think they have good chemistry. However I don’t think Micky and Maggie have any chemistry. I really enjoyed Marisa Tomei’s Maggie in the movie. This Maggie is just dull.
  10. But the one Scarlett brother got away???
  11. I don't care for the designer (Lisa?) working on the small bungalow (she's the tiny one with short curly hair). She just irritates me with her attitude. I'm curious though how they will manage to make the bungalow seem bigger with such a small footprint. How did they raise kids in that house? The couple has a *lot* of crap stuff they have accumulated over the years.
  12. I'm watching! Just waiting for a day when all Joe has to do is issue a couple of fishing citations. I'll bet he is too.
  13. I began disliking this show when it started 90% showing the patients in their homes and their backstory, and 10% treatment. I don't mind a little backstory, but when they interview them, the family members, show them in their workplace, then repeat all of that in Dr. Lee's parking lot, while she asks "what are you here for?" in a super high-pitched voice, while there is an obvious bulging bump on the patient's forehead. Sorry for the rant.
  14. My guess was that it was intentional rather than incompetence. The sheriff seems kinda corrupt to me. The sheriff's deputy (the one who was Missy's lover for a while) is more of the incompetent type.
  15. Ummm, not to be confused with the Billy Bob Thornton show of the same name "Goliath" ????
  16. We just watched the Tom Hanks movie "A Man Called Otto". Manuel Garcia Rufo had a small role as the neighbor. Gosh he's handsome!
  17. I stopped watching the show midway through this season but still come here to see what I missed. Which is usually nothing. I think the show has run its course. Seeing Dick Van Dyke this season was a treasure, but I don't know who most of the D-list people are. And I call BS on the judges being able to pinpoint these random people on just a couple of vague clues. That said, I thought Medusa in her previous showings was crap. But she was designated as the darling so she'll end up in the final, if not the final victor. Yes, I gave up.
  18. Heron Lakes is an exclusive community built around a new professional $$$$ golf course. I doubt the HOA will allow any short term rental opportunities. Also any exterior uses will be heavily scrutinized/nixed, like the boulder address or as some have suggested, privacy fences. I preferred Brian/Sarah's outdoor firepit area and their exterior house colors, but didn't really like anything else they did. One thing I noticed that no one else did, was in their master closet, the w/d was in a really tight space, barely enough room to even open the w/d doors, let alone stand in front of it with the doors open. It would be really hard to move laundry from one to the other without bumping the wall across from it. Maybe it was the camera angle though. My "winner" would have been Jon/Kristina. I liked most of their design. The bocce pit was a fail, not much bocce happening in Colorado, I think a horseshoe pit would have been better. However, they did say they had a long, narrow lot to work with which limits their use.
  19. Was that the Las Vegas helicopter bride? The one who wore a wedding romper with T&A barely covered? (see pg 20 of this thread near the bottom of the page)
  20. Well, I've missed this entire season. Switched to a new provider and never set up my DVR. From everyone's comments, I didn't miss much. And if that was the season finale, I wouldn't be surprised if SYTTD gets cancelled. It was fun like from season 2 as the show was getting into its groove, until they started featuring the famewhores and the wacky entourages and the neverending Pnina. That's when it started going downhill. Too bad, it started out as a fun little show.
  21. Like on Beat Bobby Flay, where Bobby wins, what, 70%* of the time. Just his smirk as the judges are commenting, they know which dish is his. *my guess only
  22. I know we're not supposed to talk about the books, but I feel it is vital to understanding the series. We're not supposed to like Angie.
  23. Mac 'n cheese...yes! Lobster...yes! Lobster mac 'n cheese?.....big NOPE for me!
