  1. Yep, they are: http://hollywoodlife.com/2015/06/08/the-fosters-jesus-alive-jake-t-austin-recast/
  2. The way she says potatoes annoys the crap out of me.
  3. There's an episode on now where Ree had to "drive to the lodge" and I busted out laughing because of this. ETA 6/4: The "Hauling Hay" episode is on. Ree says that calzones are a "light" dinner after a hard day of work. We obviously have different definitions of what a light dinner is...
  4. Third sneak peek: https://www.facebook.com/TheFostersonABCFamily/videos/492286667590142/
  5. Sneak peek for the 6/8 premiere: https://www.facebook.com/TheFostersonABCFamily/videos/vb.158905497594929/491351927683616/?type=2&theater Well, now we know that Mariana isn't paralyzed or anything. The family seems to be too calm for Jesus to be dead, but I don't see how Jesus could be at the boarding school when it's summer. ETA: Jude/Connor sneak peek: https://www.facebook.com/TheFostersonABCFamily/videos/vb.158905497594929/491689897649819/?type=2&theater

  7. I will give NBC's Heartbreaker a chance (which means it will get cancelled) because I need medical dramas to fill the void that ER and House left behind.
  8. Awww, Jesus dies. :( His character was okay, but I'm sad for the others.
  9. Clip from the next episode: http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/live-feed/chicago-fire-svu-stabler-flashback-790830
  10. Isn't that soldier guy Topher was treating protected by HIPAA? So he couldn't tell the wife his HIV status.
  11. I haven't seen this show in forever! I loved it when it originally aired. I was scrolling through my guide and saw that this was on. I really felt for Daniel. I could tell that he was a sweet guy under all the substance abuse "haze." Being so close to his dad and watching him die must have been horrible. I wish they would have delved into the sexual abuse a little bit more. When did his mom find out? Did he ever get counseling for it? His relationship with Sarrah was soooooooooo toxic. I'm glad that she got sober as well. Daniel did a complete 180 degrees once he got sober. He seemed like a completely different person. I really hope that he can find long-term sobriety. No, he didn't. He relapsed after 167 days and stayed for another 90 days of treatment. He has been sober since 4/8/15.
  12. I just watched this, too. She has to leave them food because cooking is for the women-folk! Real men don't cook! Yeah, the girls were super awkward in the kitchen. I cringed at the end when she said, "I have a feeling the boys will be just fine. Let's go find Alex a college!" OMG, stop!
  13. Only on TV do most parents drive their kids to school, no matter where they live (I recall that the Barone kids took the bus on Everybody Loves Raymond). Even in the suburbs, almost no TV kids utilize a school bus. The only times I was driven to school was if I missed the bus or if there was a late start. Just something I've noticed.
  14. The 100 on The CW. I'm very wary of shows on that channel, but it's become one of my new favorites.
  15. On 05x03 - Julie and the TA: Ew ew ew ew no no no no no. Julie, you're an idiot.
  16. "Rockstar" - Nickelback Somewhere between Cher and James Dean is fine for me I wanna be great like Elvis without the tassels
  17. UO: I don't like Lyla at all and I don't buy Tim/Lyla for a second. I do not believe that she saw anything good in him in that he was worth dating. Lyla is a snobby, rich, scholar. Why would she ever fall for someone like Tim who is an alcoholic who doesn't want to leave Dillon while she has dreams and aspirations? So, I'm not a fan of them together.
  18. I'm now on 04x05 - "The Son". ALL the awards for Tami for being there for Matt and making the arrangements and making sure that the funeral home people don't rip him and his family off by charging $9,000 with certain parts that won't be necessary; Veterans Affairs won't cover all of the bill (visitation, use of facilities and staff, the day prior are out because of the closed casket, no funeral service escort needed). You go, Tami. Love her. EDIT: I'm glad Luke ditched JD and the others while paintballing. JD's become a prissy a-hole like his dad. I would have left them stranded, too.
  19. BSB blew up in the US when I was 6 and I'm still a fan. AJ and Brian are my favorites. Finally saw them live in 2010 and with NKOTB in 2011. I need to go see them with Kevin. I really enjoyed the documentary. I, too wish that AJ's rehab and 2002-2012 was delved into more because I want ALL the AJ details and Unbreakable (2007) is a great album IMO, even though it's not a wide fan-favorite. Here are the cut scenes from the doc:
  20. Robert "Rocket" Romano from ER. He's a complete a-hole 99% of the time on the show, but his lines and the rare moments of humanity we saw from him creates a soft spot for me for the character.
  21. Yay, more Noah drama to come next week.
  22. I'm watching FNL for the first time and I'm on 02x05. I want to fast-forward through some of these plots. I don't care about Jason in Mexico, I don't care about Julie or the Swede, and I don't care about Lyla. Everything else, I'm cool with.
  23. I started this series on a whim on Wednesday. I'm through 02x03. One thing that has pissed me off about Julie is how she didn't give a crap if her baby sister was sick in the previous episode. Tami wanted her feel Grace to see if she thought Grace had a fever because she wanted a second opinion and the way she snotted, "Well, I don't know anything about babies. Lois is waiting for me, so I gotta go." really didn't sit right with me. Fever/infection in newborns/young babies can be dangerous and serious. It's common sense, really. She is officially on my sh*t list.
