I watched the first season of Chicago Fire, but then I got into Sons of Anarchy which is on at the same time. I don't have DVR, so I chose to watch Sons on Tuesdays. I'll try to watch CF before SVU on Wednesday.

I can't tell if this is all a big fake-out and Julia and Joel will get back together or if Julia is serious about moving on. She's sort of in the fun, fresh, "honeymoon" phase with Chris, so it will be interesting to see if it fizzles out or not. I don't really care about any of the other plots that went on.

True. I hate the character, though. She's just too needy.

Of course Noah's gotta have some lung issues that will probably stick with him for life because Olivia's can't have a healthy kid (I know, he was born to a druggie mom, but still). So I guess his cold, etc. quickly worsened and that's why he landed in the ER. If it were my kid, I wouldn't leave his/her side. It sucks for Olivia because she's a commanding officer and this was a huge case. Flashbacks of Olivia and Lewis, anyone? Poor Amanda. I feel so bad for her that she had to see that. Is SVU making the rounds and having someone be shot in the head in front of all the characters? Holden was soooooooooooooo creepy.

The only characters I care about are Leo, Jordi, and Nurse Jackson so that's why I'm sticking around. I feel so bad for Jordi. He has to go through chemo without any family. :(

So I researched and Hank's daughter Ruby was in fact 11 in 04x04. All of a sudden, she was 14 last season. Magical TV aging.

Interesting theory. - That being said, Zeek is an idiot. Heart problems are nothing to mess around with. - Don't care about Hank/Sarah; they do not have any chemistry and they bore me. Don't care about Hank's daughter Ruby. - I am all for Joel and Julia working things out, but it's a toss-up at this point.

I 100% agree that it's unrealistic and it kind of bugs a little that she's so receptive to the family's "love" at this point: pet-names, hugging, kisses, calling Stef and Lena "Moms" like the others...these people were strangers to her six months ago; plus, she dated Brandon. It also bugged me that Jude called Lena "Mom" so soon after the adoption.
