  1. We just took in a new load of foster kittens and they all have tapeworms. I hear enough about them in my daily life. I don't need it to infringe on my trash TV time. Shew, I like Shai better than 90% of these people. I'm probably underestimating.
  2. It was in that week's script? I still maintain that TLC gives the Pillow Talkers basic talking points to follow. Mostly because I in no way believe that so many people on there like Ari and Jenny.
  3. They do this in their other shows, too. They most recently did it on 90 Day Fiance when they had Coltee, Debbie, and Jess all staying in the same room. Same old TLC trope. They need new writers. I know where they could find 2 or 3 hundred with high levels of snark...
  4. If you're taking outside fan posts and comments into consideration then yes. Yes, she did. I definitely think that was the OG storyline, hence the trouble production's gone to in creating the whole "welcome home" bullshit. He was going to "change his mind" at the last minute and refuse to move to Charlotte. She'd painfully cancel all her wedding planning (they'd be sure to do this all the way up til a week or two of the wedding), and then there would've been a big "goodbye" episode in which Whit tearfully admitted that while she loved him she just couldn't give up on her family and "cuh-reer". The end. What's interesting to me about all of this is that they probably had plenty of footage to re-edit this material and create a new storyline (like planting the seeds of Chase's "cheating") but they didn't. They're going right along with what was probably the original plan.
  5. Hulu has removed episode 2 but 1 and 3 are still there. What's up with that? I wish they'd get this show back on track. I was enjoying it. I know a bit about the fake Saudi prince and was looking forward to it. Can't they at least put them On Demand?
  6. Oh, man, that phrase has been around for a hundred years. It never gets old, though. Like any classic, it's timeless. Although his reaction looked kinda natural, I do not believe that Lacey and Shane "lost" the twins. The previous ultrasound didn't look like multiple sacs. If they are creating it for the storyline then that's pure bullshit. Not cool, dudes, not cool. (If it is true then I feel bad, but I'm still scratching my head at these two wanting MORE kids when they barely see the ones who are already there.) The doctor, who wasn't wearing her mask properly to start with, pulling it down to talk to them...Ay yiyi. Shane and Lacey weren't wearing them at all, but you'd think that at least a medical professional would try to set a good example.
  7. She's shocked that a successful man who owns his own home and works in two location-dependent jobs doesn't want to move 3+ hours away to live with a gf who could literally live and work from anywhere? Sure, Jan. In other news, we'll soon be introduced to Whit's new Canadian beau, George Glass.
  8. She referenced several prior trips to Wilmington in this episode, but I swear earlier she said she'd never been there. When was she supposedly there? It was kinda jarring to hear her talk about how the US didn't have many COVID cases. Just another reminder if how bad things can quickly get-that was less than a year ago. It also made me a little sad hearing Chase talk about his bar's plans for the summer. I hate the way this pandemic has struck small businesses. ☹️
  9. I've been able to excuse a lot of Clare's bs but her shrieking "babies" while Dale's face turned stark white... Excellent TV, scary reality. Dale, blink twice if you need help!
  10. I don't understand this relationship at all. The only thing I can think is that maybe Kalani prefers having someone to whom she feels "above." Someone she can boss around and low-key control. How in the world is this dude sexy to her, though? I like the way she blames her kids on him for not liking condoms, though. Girlfriend, there are other types of birth control, not to mention the word "no"...
  11. Bad Egg's another one I wish TLC would stop giving a platform to. He's rude, misogynistic, a sex tourist, and so obsessed with fame that he's probably more turned on by paparazzi than sex.
  12. Dr. Now could've told him that. There's no miracle if you can't change your eating habit. When he and Annie lived nearby I got to know him a little. We got invited to some of the same events. He's nice enough, but I wouldn't say I'm a fan. Still, he almost looks like a different person now. He's starting to look like my mom did before she had congestive heart failure. I do wish he'd try to be healthier.
  13. She's starting to get Anna Nicole level of crazy. I love crazy, don't get me wrong, but I have a line. I'm not here for watching someone kill themselves.
  14. Any updates on Brittany (other than being spotted filming in Texas)? Don't care, just mildly curious.
  15. Yeah, what I see on the show bears zero resemblance to anything we experienced during the K-1 process. We got legally married within days of his arrival so that we could start on his PR paperwork. Of course, by then we'd already dated several years, lived together, and had a child so... Honestly, after a season or two of Big Ed's crap, David's delusions, Brittany's famewhoring, Cheesedick's Xanax scenes, and Angela's abuse I'm kinda here for Natalie and Mike. They're downright normal in comparison...
  16. Coltee sending multiple unsolicited dick pix to women (some random) is up there with sexually predatory behavior. I know that that on its doesn't qualify him as one, but in context of the other sociopathic things he does...TLC needs to quit rewarding this behavior.
  17. I can't find a single likable person in this entire spin-off. Is there someone we're meant to be rooting for?
  18. Neither do I. Parents Sumit were dropping some real truth bombs, though. I wonder if they've resisted coming to the US because they're trying to wrangle a spin-off for themselves...
  19. Hell, I don't even want to look at Ari's face for the 5 minutes she's on my TV screen.
  20. I decided to give this a 2-minute try. Yikes! I made it through 30 seconds...So.Much.Nothing... I see that they've finally dragged Pedro over to the cowboy hat club, though...
  21. When all the Pillow Talk people were crying "Don't leave, Jenny" my daughter and I were hollering, "Go HOME!"
  22. I had to show my kids the whole FRIENDS episode for them to get the full "we were on a break" effect. This "cheating" storyline is the best they could do?
  23. Ari and Bibi's apartment was fine, cute even. He's damned if he does and damned if he doesn't. Works several jobs to afford a nice place, and he's ridiculed for not being home more. Doesn't work and is ridiculed for not providing a nice home.
  24. I may or may not have rewatched the last scene of Jenny and Family Sumit several times...
  25. Wilmington isn't a tiny town. It's a thriving seaside resort community with a population of 123,000. It's the 8th biggest town in North Carolina. Several Hollywood production companies have studios there and they do a lot of filming. The real estate industry is booming and competitive in Wilmington. Median price is $250,000 which is higher than the rest of the state. Because of its tourism and proximity to the beach the real estate market there is even more competitive than Greensboro's. It's in the fastest growing county in the state. There is one major university, University of North Carolina Wilmington, and several community colleges. His bar is not small. It's a live music venue that has one of the biggest capacities in the city. They have full, concert level specs. This isn't your hole in the wall watering place. It's not a place that can be managed from afar-before COVID it had regularly sold out events. With a full-time job in accounting and managing the bar in a beautiful resort town, it makes no sense for Chase to move to Charlotte. Not even Whitney herself has to be in Charlotte.
