  1. Tom may have long-term care insurance. It's also possible his family members are chipping in to pay the fees. In the DC area, the nicer facilities charge around $8000+ monthly, which Medicare does not cover. I agree there is money stashed somewhere. I don't watch RHoBH regularly, or I FF through much of it, but I swear that right before this scandal hit, Erika made a joke in a talking head about storing money offshore. I think she made the comment in response to something else. They had a lot of time to stash it where the feds cannot reach it.
  2. How funny that Amazon is hedging its bets, essentially choosing two winners. I'm glad for both of them. I think Yannick appeals to Amazon because he's creative yet sensible, focused, and has a head for business. Georgia is already successful, and her aesthetic is limited to how it can be repurposed into mass sales. (She was probably contestant fodder.) Rafael seems like many other designers we've already seen - makes beautiful clothes very well, but nothing notable and he skews towards evening wear. We all know they will dumb down Yannick's more whacky looks. I can see young people liking his aesthetic, but can they afford it? As for the series, I didn't enjoy it until they got away from the frantic, useless design competitions. I breathed a sigh of relief when they released the designers to their own apartments (a level playing field), a month to produce a show, some peace and quiet, hopefully a food stipend, and finally the results. No Tim dashing about to visit the designers, no family interviews. I don't need all that. I suppose all of the designers had already strategized their collections - buying fabrics and notions, sketching, etc. - before they arrived in LA. I appreciated the harmony between most of the designers, and a minimum of sob stories. I laughed when Tim and Heidi held big ol' microphones in order to talk to four people sitting eight feet away, for 90 seconds. We have a new Tim record for wearing jeans - was it twice this season?
  3. Not only has this series jumped the shark, the shark is dead and rotting. Its as if everyone is fatigued, high or hungover, uninterested, apathetic, etc. in every scene. They can't be bothered, despite earning fat paychecks. Spoiled entitled brats. Patricia's dinner was like a third-rate farce, with a confused chef, aging drunken frat boys in mismatched clothing, and a crabby Blanche Dubois wafting about in her caftans. All it was missing was an errant escargot sailing across the dining room. Taylor's babbling about Jesus was bizarre and disingenuous.
  4. There is a great Youtube series called "Farmhouse Vernacular." A couple are slowly restoring a farmhouse themselves, trying to retain its originality. For example, the wife talks about how old kitchens employed movable infrastructure rather than today's built-ins, and her kitchen is painted marigold. She's big on thrift shopping. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCkx82bdlBc68Ty4EfDeCn1Q
  5. Andy seemed checked out and going through the motions. Also, on my TV screen, he looked pasty and tired.
  6. She's just flailing about now, desperately trying to save her ass.
  7. I'm just gonna say it: When Stanbury moved to Dubai, my eyebrows went up.
  8. Also many text messages between Magda and her boyfriend on BD Down Under. I think a BD production intern has glommed onto this trick, as if text arguments will add drama to the show.
  9. As Amarante and others have posted, the earrings are in escrow. Erika can't "hand them over" because she already did.
  10. Like a dog pissing on her territory. I suspect many beautiful young realtors have made a run at Mo. They'd love to replace Kyle.
  11. I thought I read recently that one of the victims, a man, received a small payment since some of the funds have been clawed back. Erika spins these events in her favor on the show. Saying a case was dismissed when in fact it was re-filed, for example. Do you suppose her attorneys give her flash cards written in big bold letters to memorize? A flow chart is beyond her ability to comprehend.
  12. TMZ says that Diana's purpose for the $100K donation is as follows: "Our sources say Diana sees this as an opportunity for some of the other cast members, like Sutton Stracke and Garcelle Beauvais, to put their money where their mouths are … because they’ve attacked Erika over her connection to the Lion Air case. Since they like to talk about it so much — suggesting in the past Erika lacks compassion for the families — we’re told Diana sees this as kind of putting the ball in their court … giving them a chance to step up and make a donation to show how much they care about those folks." I understand now. Since Erika won't accept responsibility, the housewives should do it for her. Diana is more stupid than I thought.
  13. The Jenkins/Penn charity for Haiti was rebranded to be called CORE in 2019 to serve global needs. Now Diana has created yet another charity. She's using these charities for personal PR to polish her sordid reputation. An earlier tidbit about Diana from July 2022 - not paying staff. Wonder if she deducted federal and state taxes, or sent out 1099s? https://www.realitytea.com/2022/07/07/diana-jenkins-housekeeper-lawsuit/
  14. I've heard that the stunt casting is sometimes "sponsored" - a big fat infusion of cash to the production.
  15. My impression of Crystal is that she uses her traumas, disorders, etc. to play the victim and deflect criticism, while she continues to do her dirty work, on the show. She's another master manipulator and narcissist.
  16. Andy Cohen has put up a video of him driving with two fussy children and mugging faces as he drives. Attempt to deflect attention away from his stubbornly misguided failure to do anything about the vicious housewife shows?
  17. Is there a new season of the original cast? I don't have cable anymore.
  18. I wonder if the show is trying to sell him as a very religious, self-loathing gay man.
  19. What's a bit ironic is that I consider Live PD to have been established on the giant shoulders of Cops. The latter was not live, but the shows are very similar in terms of content. When the TX incident occurred, I thought I read that A&E claimed they no longer had the footage. At the time, I posted that over in the TV news world, where I once worked, we kept local broadcast footage for a long time, for multiple reasons.
  20. Lesa, please put your gross fake clown boobs away. You're an embarrassment and a cliche. Give everyone a break. Also, pulling in seven figures for a business is not that big a deal. I know many women whose businesses, which they truly built from the ground up, pull in more than that and are sustainable and growing. Let's have details: is it $1,000,000 or $9,999,999? Is that gross income for the business, before you pay for salaries or consultants, supplies, storage, office space, shipping, marketing, etc.? Ayan is a petulant child who thrives on attention. She thinks that whoever talks loudest and longest (clapping hands extra) wins. I like the fashion the two women on the end have worn throughout the season. I didn't mind Carolyn S.'s short black sparkly suit. Her earrings were divine.
  21. Here's more from https://www.realitytitbit.com/bravo/below-deck/meet-below-deck-meds-frank-faye-as-kyle-reveals-hes-his-charter-crush "The Below Deck Med star has gotten into a relationship following his Bravo debut, but it isn’t with the second stew. He is now dating a man called Jared Tiller, who currently lives in New York City. After graduating from Rutgers University in 2007, Frank joined MWW Group in Irvine, CA, as an account coordinator. That same year, he switched his job to an account manager position at Fusion Public Relations. Kyle is currently working at Magna5 as a Talent Acquisition Manager." So Kyle works in HR.
  22. Possibly in response to suggestions from her husband after her first season, Crystal is trying to reform her image. I'm pretty sure the woman we saw during her first season is the real Crystal. The only good thing about her is her fashion. She has very elegant taste.
  23. It's not cultural appropriation if the people being targeted are White colonizers. What a dumbass.
