I’m dropping off my tax info with my tax preparer tomorrow. I stopped doing them myself when I got a job with a company that gave me stock shares. I have no idea how to deal with the taxes on selling shares, so it’s peace of mind to have a professional do it. I so do not want to be working today. It’s just one of those days where I don’t feel like making yet another PowerPoint deck. So much PowerPoint…..

It is all speculation, but it wouldn’t surprise me if reports of Anna handing off her kids on the regular to visit Josh at the Reber’s were true. We’ve heard them say that a women’s duty is to God first, their spouse second, and their children third. In Anna’s world, Josh’s needs come before her children’s. Even if he is a convicted sex offender.

The bankruptcies were prior to the show, but the rest have occurred after the show, some fairly recently (taxes, medical bills).

For anyone decluttering/cleaning out, especially sentimental items, I came across this blog post that might be helpful. I wish I could help you all - I love cleaning things out. I have seen the difficulties of cleaning out relatives’ houses (and will someday have to clean out my mother-in-law’s house) so it is so thoughtful that you all are thinking of this to make things easier for your own families.

I’m jealous of everyone who can confidently back into a parking space or garage. I can do it, but I would be the person taking several tries to do it, annoying everyone else. I’m also jealous of everyone with backup cameras. I have a 2010 Subaru Outback, so before backup cameras became standard, and since my car only has 55,000 miles on it, I’m not replacing it any time soon. I have new car envy for sure.

I made sticky chicken fingers and potato skins for the Super Bowl. And bite sized brownies in my mini muffin pan.

It’s so on brand for Jessa to want surfaces that hide dirt as opposed on ones that are easy to clean.

She was a realtor for 6 years? It seemed like a much shorter time.

I just finished watching Midnight Mass (good, but a little disappointing) and there is a woman that is a holier-than-thou type, much like Jill. The townspeople generally put up with her and no one seems to challenge her. At one point another character asks her why it upsets her that God loves the sinners too, and tells her that God doesn’t love her any more than anyone else. Honestly, I though of Jill.

None of these guys are licensed to do electrical, plumbing, etc. How do their properties even pass inspection?

Does he explain what kind of work he is doing? He’s not at the residential home any longer, and maybe not at the airfield (?) either. I find it hard to believe that he’s actually working 100 hours a week.

I take omeprazole every other day, trying to taper down per the doctor. That’s not going so well.

No, it’s just being a jerk. My sister does the same thing. My peeve this morning is around medical appointments. My doctor referred me to a gastroenterologist in October to deal with bouts of almost constant acid reflux. Saw him in early January. He wants me to get an endoscopy and colonoscopy. The earliest appointment is in July. I’m particularly salty about it this morning because I have been up basically all night with acid reflux and nausea, which is even more unpleasant than it sounds. Stupid health care system.

Speaking of pet beds: They are my favorite coworkers!
