  1. I tend to forget about Steffy's part in that. I still blame $Bill more I suppose because his efforts to acquire the SF land for "Sky" lead to more than one disaster. And without his dying lie, Caroline wouldn't have had a chance, no matter what Caroline and Steffy plotted. But yeah, no one came out of that looking good. I know it's too much to hope that Still is endgame. I don't like either character all that much but I have a weird fondness for villainous power couples.
  2. Liam stayed quiet about $Bill/Caroline's lie about her health so I always thought he had his own responsibility (albeit second-hand) in messing around with Sally and SF once Thomas went to NY to be with Caroline and Douglas. I was only watching sporadically around that time because I liked Tally and hated how they handled PF leaving but Liam's halo was definitely tarnished with that episode. No matter that he tried to help her afterwards, Thomas and Sally had something really special that enhanced both characters. I liked their designing partnership.
  3. Wait. Justin is a grandfather? That was what went wrong with bringing back Sheila in that weird mini "who is out to get Quinn" mystery - it ended up only really affecting Quinn and Eric and it seemed to come out of nowhere. (Well, to be fair it did come out of nowhere.) And no one cared in the end. Except the rare Deacon fans who weren't happy with how that worked out - is he still in jail, btw?
  4. As someone who has never seen Amber on this show (just Y&R) I would kind of like to see her, as long as it was AF and not a recast. I haven't really liked Rick's stories since I've been watching these last few years. (Though not right now... unless nuHope doesn't work out.)
  5. Just a reminder - there is a Media thread now for posting articles on the show/cast/etc. There is also a thread for Roseanne Barr/Roseanne Conner.
  6. The Rick/Hope/Ridge/Brooke/Maya scene was interesting in that I almost got suckered into believing they might be planning a nuanced sibling rivalry, Hope doesn't realize the world has moved on from her awesomeness kind of storyline. I do remember advocating for a Hope recast awhile back but it was partly to give Brooke some reason other than Ridge or Bill to be onscreen and partly wishing for a Deacon sighting. Be careful what you wish for, I guess. (Though honestly, I'd suck it up and watch whatever if it did include some appearances from SK.)
  7. A new potential cast member? The black hoodie of (self-inflicted) pain and misery... NuHope was okay but reminded me more of Donna than Brooke. Brooke looked great though. And I'm finally resigned to Watie, I guess because I thought they looked cute together. And Katie tap dancing re: Steffy was fun to watch.
  8. Pilot Episode/TBA Series Description: From executive producers Ellen DeGeneres, Emily Kapnek ("Suburgatory"), Jeff Kleeman ("Little Big Shots") and Dean Holland ("Parks and Recreation") comes "Splitting Up Together," the story of Lena (Jenna Fischer, "The Office") and Martin (Oliver Hudson, "Scream Queens"), whose marriage is reignited by their divorce. "Splitting Up Together" stars Jenna Fischer as Lena, Oliver Hudson as Martin, Bobby Lee as Arthur, Lindsay Price as Camille, Olivia Keville as Mae, Van Crosby as Mason and Sander Thomas as Milo. Mette Heeno, Mie Andreasen and Hella Joof are also executive producers, along with DeGeneres, Kapnek, Kleeman and Holland, of "Splitting Up Together," which is based on the original Danish series of the same name created by Heeno. 9. The scenes with Liam and Bill on the floor were so weird - a very odd directing choice. And I'm a little baffled that Bill is all about Liam forgiving Steffy, unless they are trying to show that he really loves her that much. It would be interesting if true, because I can't tell if Still or Steam would then be endgame. Or maybe they are going for a Brooke/Ridge/Eric kind of triangle they can play out for the next few years? (I suppose that's way more lazy, recycled material than Brill had available. Not that I'm bitter or anything...)
  10. I'll make it an even table for 4. The delusional, desperate, panicky and begging Steffy was an appropriate change from her usual arrogant self. I did feel like JMW was channeling Scarlett O'Hara a bit much but at least she was trying. I've been watching SC for many years and knew he was capable of more than the show was giving him so this week has been very satisfying. Also a special shout out to @CountryGirl for the riveting recaps. I probably wouldn't have watched if I hadn't read them. CBS media should put you on the payroll.
  11. Please use this thread to discuss Roseanne (the show) and Roseanne (herself, as well as the other cast and crew) in the media, both social and traditional.
  12. This is just a reminder that Roseanne's personal politics are off-topic. If you have questions about PTV and politics, see this post.
  13. I caught a minute of Prince Harry's interview with Barack Obama in the car today. http://people.com/royals/prince-harry-interviews-barack-obama/
  14. It was great to have Fitz back, and teamed up with Hunter made it even sweeter. It's weird - I'm so used to various plot devices for time travel that the idea of taking the long way surprised me. Loved the SW refs - I mean how could anyone going to be frozen in a capsule resist?
  15. I don't care for Amazon's streaming UI myself, so I usually never even look. The movie has made me nostalgic though so I might watch some of my favorite episodes.
  16. Juliet didn't seem like a dirty cop when it came to the Chief's daughter. Cops let people go with warnings every day and Juliet knows the kid and wanted to know what was going on so she could help. Justice doesn't always demand an arrest and compassion is a key component of her character. So I was okay with that. But I didn't care for the direction they went with Henry. That seemed OOC but it's California, so who knows? :-) It was just nice to see everyone again. My daughter actually alerted me to the fact that Psych is now streaming on Amazon Prime, so if you have it, it's free to watch.
  17. Considering the heat Roger Howarth gets over on GH for his greasy hair and hobo look, I can't see him being a welcome addition to B&B. Unless it's from TK, as someone to take the spotlight away from his own appearance. I will second Jane Elliot playing any role she wants, though. Would love to see her with SC again.
  18. After not watching for a couple of months, I made the mistake of watching the last couple of B&B's on the dvr today. Eww... and WTH? It's true that the last episode I saw was Bill maniacally pushing the button on Liam and Sally but now he's a lovesick shell of a man without Steffy? And I can't begin to wrap my head around this (even more) empty-headed version of Brooke. It's not okay to wear the ring but okay to indulge in some after lunch whatever? That scene was so gross. KKL really is beautiful but Bridge will always be revolting to me with TK in the role. The anti-chemistry hurts to watch. Still, I liked the idea of Thorne (who has only been on once or twice since I've been watching) designing a line using Aly's name. And Ingo is better than I expected.
  19. If they do end up doing another movie, I hope they relax and slow down just a bit. I'm more of a fan of laid back and goofy. And TO's absence was keenly felt. Shawn has always needed either Lassie or Henry to provide some ballast.
  20. I should clarify that the 3 times was for the upcoming 2 weeks search of the listings on titantv.com, so it's possible there will be more showings. And if someone has cable, they can usually log into the USA site to watch recent shows.
  21. It will be replayed on the 12th at 5:00 am. I'm really surprised that they are only showing it 3 times.
  22. You can't have a love letter to the fans without Cary Elwes. J/K - I'm still ridiculously excited for next week!
  23. So, late to the party :-) but this story is finally starting to be a little interesting. More Alice helped. And I admit to laughing when Ivy refused to villain monologue. Weaver has to be awake. The look on his face when Regina mentioned Belle was subtle but there. The question is why - the answer unfortunately is that no one cares. Nothing we've seen indicates any kind of long game. If they are saving Rumple til they can stage some kind of dramatic twist, I have a feeling it will too little, too late. They need some kind of energy infusion right now. Just a thought but if Disney really wants to promote Star Wars, why not give us some Last Jedi anticipation via Henry and Nick instead? (But then they'd have to send in the competent writers to oversee it (a la Frozen) and that would be an impossible task and a waste of money, considering the state of the show. Never mind...)
  24. I was pretty impressed with the episode in general, except for the team doing one pass each (no dark matter, no vibe info, etc.) and giving up to make Barry look obsessed. And I kind of loved the DeVoes as the super villain, loving couple with a great marriage. Just idle speculation (with absolutely no comics/spoiler knowledge) but I could see the wife being the big bad of a future season, if the guy's ALS wins in the end. She's smart enough to enact real revenge on Team Flash and her husband is her whole world.
  25. He probably will. I was in a coffee shop yesterday with GH on the wall tv and my favorite barista started gushing about SBu's return. (She knows I watch sometimes.) She's in her early twenties, I'd guess, so probably imprinted on OGJason in high school.
