  1. PTV doesn't create boards for pilots, just shows that have been picked up to series. But as soon as it is a go, then there will be one. Casting articles can be shared in the Media topic.
  2. Sigh. I can't believe I went to the trouble of getting caught up with over a months worth of shows for this. I don't have any background with Taylor, as she only appeared a couple of times, maybe 15 minutes total, after I started watching. But Friday's appearance, holy cow. I was embarrassed for her, the writers, the show and DD. That scene and the OTT wailing would only make sense if Steffy was like 15 or 16. Even back with what I've seen of Still 1.0, it wouldn't have been appropriate. I also didn't get Liam confessing to Steffy, though for a few seconds I actually bought Steffy's concern. I think JMW does better with scenes where Steffy isn't the primary focus.
  3. I've just moved some off-topics posts to the Small Talk thread. Please keep the discussion based on the episode and the characters actions. Thanks!
  4. Thanks. And that's what I get for watching while cooking. :-)
  5. I deleted the recording but didn't Bill walk out of Liam's room with the gloves? Or am I remembering it wrong?
  6. It's too bad it wasn't Steffy who shot Bill in the back. That's about the only thing that might make this story interesting. (Because irony...) While I wasn't a huge Watie fan in the beginning, I'm really disappointed that Wyatt caved and that Katie went along with it. Wyatt should know better, Bill has no intention of ever giving him control of the company. He just likes dangling things and messing with people.
  7. It was a mod thing, as DJ is no longer in danger of "becoming a strange smell in the attic" and now all grown up with a daughter of his own. So we thought he deserved a little better. Sorry, guys. ETA: So, do you all have any better suggestions for DJ's topic? We're willing to entertain ideas that don't involve strange smells in the attic.
  8. All caught up, finally. I think my favorite scene in the last batch was the one with Sally, Thomas, Quinn, Eric, Pam, Charlie, Katie and Wyatt are all just sitting around gossiping about who shot Bill. It felt so natural compared to Brooke and Ridge in the office.
  9. So, I am working through a month long backlog and in the final stretch with only 4 more to go. I'm enjoying most of the story, except for the police interaction, which after decades of L&O on the air, you would think they'd do better. I'm glad they've worked Liam's previous concussion into the story. It's something a little different, though they just couldn't help themselves coupling it with the ToD. The main reason I was in favor of a Hope recast was for Brooke's sake. So those scenes have been welcome, though I don't feel the warmth there yet. I've come to realize that Kim Matula, for all her foibles, had a very warm on-screen presence that seems hard to duplicate.
  10. Yeah, I realized my error in a later post.
  11. I can't find a reference online to it now so it might have been just talk that it would have a truncated season if Inhumans did well. In that case, the pacing looks even worse.
  12. I wonder if this inept pacing is the result of AoS getting extra episodes after the Inhumans series tanked?
  13. I think it depends what it's going to be up against. I dvr almost everything, so I forget which nights things air.
  14. Out of the Friday death slot? This I would like. Well, and a renewal too.
  15. I moved a couple of analysis posts to the Roseanne Barr/Roseanne Conner topic. Please keep the discussion in the episode threads ON the episodes. Thanks!
  16. No spoiler tags are necessary but they aren't a big deal either.
  17. Coulson was pretty emphatic that the next director should be young - I guess to be there for many decades to come. Am I the only person who thinks that he might end up choosing Fitz? He's proved he can make the hard decisions. As stomach churning as that is to type, I can see the writers going that way. It's like Star Trek's "The Enemy Within", Fitz embraces his inner Evil Genius and melds with his wimpy, good guy persona. And because what else can they do with him now?
  18. So, another thing I've found interesting about the Fitz fallout is how leader-less the team is without Coulson and it's showing me that Daisy isn't ready to lead yet. (IMO - and that's okay, she's still young.) Because the rift was a major catastrophe about to go critical and Daisy should have at least discussed getting her powers back and when and had a plan. Because if the rift wasn't enough, then what would have been? You can't make decisions when you don't know what's real. She endangered the team and the civilian world above them by not wanting to become the Destroyer of Worlds in the future but the world was in peril now. ** I get that it's an impossible decision but that's what we ask leaders to do. Make those decisions. ** And yes, that's how Fitz justified it. But maybe the team's waffling about what he did reflects that they know this.
  19. I think Mack's halfhearted attempt to minimize what Fitz did was in character - he's a peacemaker, after all. And he wants every available resource on Yo-Yo's case. But he wasn't there, so all he sees is the aftermath, that Daisy is physically okay and the rift was sealed. I'm afraid that Coulson will have a similar reaction, especially with global crises at hand. Which is my roundabout way of saying - I don't want them to handwave Fitz but it's looking like a distinct possibility. We only have 7 episodes left.
