  1. I'm so conditioned by the show's history of "misunderstandings" that this slipped right by me. But it's definitely a bit of ugliness you can't unsee.
  2. Okay, thanks. I missed that. Do you remember what day that was? Never mind, I see Js Nana answered.
  3. The writing on this show is so mediocre that when that scene caught in my throat, I was shocked. It was a brilliant way to show how mind-frakked Claire must have been.
  4. When I watch live I tend to wander in and out of the room, so I'm a little confused. Do we know for sure Jordan chloroformed Claire? I mean, if I were Jordan I would just point a gun at Harrison knowing Claire would fall in line. If the writers are trying to establish a long term rivalry with Summer and Claire, it's not working for me. It's one of those things that might make sense on paper but not so much in the execution.
  5. I don't normally care about Jordan one way or the other but I felt sorry for her having to interact in what was such a sleazy scene. Ick. Brick is creepy.
  6. I only pop in now and then these days but I think this falls under the patented B&B "misunderstanding night" category. And yes, still bitter about Thomas torpedoing my CaRidge ship.
  7. That sounds like what the spoiler sites showed for Tuesday but not what I saw today. I'm honestly confused.
  8. Continuity? TPTB totally trashed her character before they wrote her off B&B.
  9. I don't know anything at all about Kyle, Summer and Harrison or his bio mom but if she was there for him as a mother figure as an infant or toddler, treating her as a co-parent until he's old enough to understand seems like a good thing? Feelings of abandonment can be just as real and hurtful when it's a step-parent who disappears.
  10. Well, we all look better in pictures from 7 years ago but Y&R Sally disappointed me. The harsh makeup doesn't do anything for her. And her hair was softer. Eta: wardrobe was all over the place for her, from casual cute to streetwalker designer chic. 🤷‍♀️ Okay, the image I tried to link to didn't work. Here's a screenshot of one from the B&B fan wiki:
  11. I'm still sad about how that turned out. If the show is still around after they inevitably redeem Valentin a few more times, maybe we'll get lucky.
  12. A lot of people over the years have referred to the ABC and Disney conglomerate as ABCD - do you think (BBC/D or D+) might be enough? 🤷‍♀️
  13. While I very much would like to see Steven Lars back, I don't think I should put it out there in the universe without qualifying it: Please, please, please don't bring back Scott Reeves and his guitar.
  14. I think Liz mentioned him to Esme while she was held by Nikolas? I FF alot, too. And I may have imagined it but I thought Heather mentioned him in a Spring Ridge conversation. I barely remember. The last time he was on he had a big secret - maybe he let someone die (or helped him over the edge?) to get a kidney or a heart or something? So he went back to Memphis (or Nashville or somewhere like that) and turned himself in and went to prison. Stupidity all the way around. Just wanted to add that I didn't hate William Moses as Jeff. If his casting wasn't related to one of Liz's dumbest storylines, I'd have been okay with him recurring more often.
  15. That could be a potential silver lining, if they use it to get Steven Lars out of prison and back to Port Charles. At least we wouldn't have to listen to Heather moan about Esme non-stop. No offense to Alley Mills but I miss Robin Mattson.
  16. I know it takes time to fix a show as off track as GH has been but I'll agree that the couples on this show are all over the map and except for Kevin and Laura*, not in a good way. I kinda hate the idea of a wellness, fitness, spa thing. Sure, fresh sets would be nice but BL in a black blazer in a steam room anyone? * Even if Heather was non compos mentis (lawyer speak for BSC) and she gets off, Laura honey, this is going to kill you politically. Such fun we have to look forward to. (I have a soft spot for Laura but not her deer in the headlights look.) Eta: I want Alexis back as an attorney as much as anyone but the anvils of her potentially being involved in Heather's case sound more cringey than entertaining.
  17. Do we know for sure she is, though? Just because you're related to rich people doesn't mean you necessarily are. I mean, Ned is and I'm sure he paid enough child support to make sure Lois and BL lived comfortably while she grew up but between the Q's having lost several fortunes over the decades, having cash tied up in ELQ stock and BL wanting to make it on her own, maybe a fantasy trip to Italy wasn't in the budget? Or there was never time from one crisis to the next? Though Chase selling his truck to finance it is really dumb, imo.
  18. Of course they are - and it's pretty entertaining, especially watching Drew get seduced by the dark side. Not that he's putting up much of a fight. Hah. If I liked her, I'd feel a little sorry for Diane being caught between Jason and Sonny, even briefly.
  19. I agree with most of your post but I'm not sure writing can solve the problem of block taping, which is why so many storylines are siloed. And block taping is what keeps the show on budget and alive.
  20. I understand her feelings about it (and even mostly agree) but Portia isn't exactly an innocent. She violated her medical ethics and endangered a patient to protect her daughter, which is what Heather, in her twisted, Cobalt poisoned way was also doing.* * I am not advocating for Heather here but honestly, I can't believe I used to like Portia once upon a time.
  21. Heather is her adopted (as a teen) half-uncle's ex-wife. A flimsy by marriage connection, at best. Liz has a closer connection in that at least Jeff Webber (Hardy, by blood), is her father and Heather is her brother's mother. Jason has a blood connection to Heather even. But I gather Heather gave Laura her medical PoA based on Webber sentimentality? Thanks!
  22. I don't think that's what she's doing - she only remarked on how Heather seemed different. Kevin, otoh, did seem to be heading there. You would think his experience with Ryan would make him more cautious. If Heather wasn't technically responsible for the hook killings, she was still in prison for other crimes, right? I don't think they committed themselves as to when Heather got the hip implant and when it went bad. Or did they and I missed it?
  23. I didn't see the actual conversation between Aiden and Elizabeth but there was practically no follow-up. I think there was more here, where no one was impressed that they made the kid who liked to bake gay. There's been way more attention paid on-screen to Blaze, than the son of legacy characters. Of course, that might be a good thing when you look at how they wrote for Lucas.
  24. Wow, Portia. Tell us how you really feel. (At least the background players got to turn around and stare at her.) Still... talk about unnecessary characters - we don't need reformed Heather on the canvas. Though that would be a great lawsuit for Alexis. Sue the device manufacturer and the Bureau of Prisons for not recognizing or ignoring her health issues.
