That's a very nice series of memories in tribute to your cousin, @Scarlett45. I'm sorry for your loss.

I sort of like that CarShield one, too, and I HATE all the other ads for them. I am similarly sheepish about liking a bit of that Buffalo Wild Wings commercial where the buffalo is singing and says he used to sing on cruises. One of the humans asks him what made him stop and he says "[beat]...the cruises." Something about that delivery just amuses me.

I can't stand Ree but like Eddie and love the holidays so I'll give it another go this year. -
Holiday Baking Championship - General Discussion

While I am already tired of the commercial that is repeating endlessly (with DRAMAH about burning nuts) I continue to look forward to the new season. -
Good for them and f*%k the crazies. And JB and M.

The Lonely Js Club: James, Jackson & Johannah

I wonder if Jason allows himself to line dance or if he still has the stick up his arse about dancing his dad put there? (that may have come out a little more vividly than I intended...) -
I also forgot Jessika was ever on this season, despite having seen her a couple of weeks ago on WWHL. When the others were talking about her, I completely had no recollection.

Tough Love With Hilary Farr - General Discussion
jcbrown replied to sheetmoss's topic in Tough Love With Hilary Farr
Agreed that the blue Hilary selected was better. And that chartreuse backsplash was dreadful, no matter what you put it with. I mean, I love color, too, and have more color in my house through art and such than many do, but I don't want my house decorated like clowns exploded all over it. Your eyes need somewhere to rest. Oh, I forgot that gave up so much pantry space for a tiny stupid table. That woman was a real piece of work and I get the impression her husband spends a lot of time acquiescing. It was almost painful to watch how little regard Hilary had for her "taste." -

My French tutor's husband once got lost in Vatican City but did not speak Italian. He asked a priest for directions in Latin and was quite successful. So there's another destination for you! -
Commercials That Annoy, Irritate or Outright Enrage

One that drives me really insane? every time it comes on? is the one for Jacuzzi bath remodel? that "stars" Christina the vapid idiot from HGTV? who is unable to end a sentence without a question mark? and I always wonder why? no one told her to vary her inflection? and stop up-talking and inserting weird pauses? -
Halloween Baking Championship - General Discussion

It's funny, Hollie didn't really bug me until this last episode and I was really tired of her by the end of that one, which surprised me. Editing? More exposure because fewer contestants? We'll see how the finale goes. I would be okay with any of them winning, also. -
Commercials That Annoy, Irritate or Outright Enrage

Wow, that is a truly terrible commercial that I had not seen before now. So... thanks? 😉 -
My broken nose: I was hurrying across a parking lot to class and it had been raining. Focused on getting where I was going, I slipped on the combination of a bumper block and painted pavement (cyclists can attest that road paint gets slick when it gets wet!) and face-planted on the asphalt. Pouring blood, I flagged down some poor fellow student and persuaded her to help me walk the block to the health center. You get really quick service if you come in looking like that. And I got a ride in a cop car to the ER. Still the only bone I have broken. My husband at the time was out of town and came home to find me with a broken nose, six stitches closing my lip, and two black eyes. It's hard to drink coffee through a straw, is one of the things I learned from that.

I am also tired of all the gore. It's just not that interesting to me and it's definitely not appealing.- 1.8k replies

The Medicare advantage commercial where the man drones on and the robotic female voice repeats "Medicare tip: check your zip" FIVE TIMES is deeply irksome. -

I like that she rescues dogs and that she is relentlessly positive, though I suspect that would be quite tiresome in person. -

🤣🤣 Personality of a surge protector. 😂 You're not wrong. -
They definitely walked up to the top of Èze in the South of France in a previous season. I remember because it is one of the few places I've seen on this show where I have been. Natalya is a nightmare employee and should be fired for her current behavior. You can't walk around trash-talking your supervisor to everyone who makes the mistake of standing still long enough and expect to succeed at your job.

Yeah, she was ridiculous. I could not stand her or the guest shark. -
That is not a good picture. And it is pointless. I never think of Jinger and Jessa as having similar facial structure but this angle emphasizes her jaw in such a way that I notice it. Huh.

Exactly! Kyle is working behind the scenes all the way through and trying to make trouble and so far just skating by. On WWHL, Sandy was blaming Natalya and lionizing Tumi and there was no mention of how Kyle tried to instigate the whole thing. She was even blaming Natalya for talking out of both sides of her mouth but not a word about Kyle doing the same. Now, granted, if you're not a childish mean girl, you're going to let his bitchy shenanigans roll off your back but with this bunch? It also bugged me that no one called Kyle on being the one to screw up the dinner order. I just hope Kyle gets some comeuppance this season. I'm sure he will dissolve, if he does.

I also agree that Stacy is really hitting her stride. I thought she did really well this week. The editors really telegraphed this one, or else they had nothing but bad day to work with from Mandi. I was astonished when she said she had never baked with ginger. -

That is a truly stupid commercial, I agree. However, Pixie and Lucy raise their eyebrows at the notion that anyone could be too invested in giving cats treats. I may be ruled by my furballs...
