  1. Yeah this is a little weird. Chin is usually the sane one, compared to Steve (doesn't understand civil rights, possible death wish) or Danny (far too whiny and neurotic). I guess Grover will take over that spot.
  2. Why on earth would Kensi get into a fight with Anna? They've met and worked together before without any problems. The promo monkeys have to be twisting something and I really hope they are, cause this is *not* something I'm a fan of. Although if that fight is real, and not someone's hallucination or dream-sequence, then that definitely explains why Peter Cambor (Nate) is on the cast list for the first episode in January 2017. If Kensi attacked someone in the office there is no way she's getting her job back without a *major* psych consult and sign-off.
  3. I loved that scene of Howard and Bernadette discussing names. You could really feel how much he misses his mom.
  4. So I think we're getting closer to the end of the mole storyline, if for no other reason that 90 day deadline Hetty agreed is looming. And I think it's Nate. I can't think of anyone else that it could turn out to be that we're going to care about. As far as I know (and someone correct me if I'm wrong) but none of the main title actors are leaving the show anytime soon, so it can't be them. And in the last episode someone made a comment about cutting off the head of the snake to resolve the mole thing. And "Head of the Snake" was the title of the episode we last saw Nate in, plus it is scheduled to re-run in January. Anyone have any thoughts or theories?
  5. However she wouldn't have been Queen until much, much later in her life. She'd have had that married time with Phillip, Phillip would have much more time with his naval career and her children would have been much older. Even if George still died in 1952, David lived until the 70's.
  6. Interesting article about the future of BBT. Sounds like the cast is onboard, if the network is willing. I had no idea they'd all made *that* much money from it though. If I was one of them, I'd be sticking around as long as possible to maximize my take! http://www.tvguide.com/news/the-big-bang-theory-when-will-it-be-canceled/
  7. I'm delighted Kensi is making progress. I really am. But didn't she have a broken femur, which nessecitated surgery on the Navy ship? Those alone take 4-6 months to heal, so how is she not only running and walking but doing rehab for the spinal injury as well? And where are her surgical scars? I think Nate is the mole. That line, "head of the snake", was the title for that episode he was in last season. Nice to see the moms bonding and absolutely understandable that Kensi is over it. Loved Roberta's line about how her kid is worse.
  8. Oh. I'm in Germany at the moment. That probably explains it. Darn.
  9. Did y'all know BBT is now streaming on Netflix? Season 1-8.
  10. Grace was on Maternity leave two seasons ago. She was present before and after otherwise. Alex is not talking about walking out or asking for anything special, he's just saying that he's probably not re-signing his contract and for valid reasons.
  11. Several of the bad guys got shot in front of the kids, although they were all on the ground with their heads down so I'm not sure how much they actually saw. And given that Will Grover apparently grew up with a go-bag under his bed and the idea that the bad guys could come anytime, I'm not sure how much this will phase him. I do appreciate that while Grace seems to keep ending up in danger, only once was it related to being Danny's daughter and it was for something that happened back in NJ, long before he joined Five-0. The camp-out was bad luck, as was this time. She happened to be going to school with a kid who was targeted. And when Grover's family was in danger last season, that wasn't related to Five-0 either. It was from an undercover job 20 years ago. My heart melted a little both when Grover connected with his son first on the phone and then in person once the bad guys were down. And that Steve's first thought after putting the bad guys down was to find Grace, even before looking for Danny.
  12. Okay, I must have conflated cloture requirements with confirmation. Thanks for the info!
  13. I'm pretty sure John is a naturalized citizen and can't deported. I hope....
  14. I think the title thing varies from person to person. My best friends father was a doctor but I called him Mr, since that was how she introduced us.
  15. Well Sheldon did say he was tracking Amy's cycle and that she was currently fertile. If Amy isn't ready for kids right now then I completely understand forgoing sex when there is a high risk of pregnancy. She and Sheldon are not um, active, on a regular basis and she may not have birth control easily accessible at the moment. I figured out why Raj's story bothers me. He's in a position of power over Isabela and won't take no for an answer. No he's not her directly boss and while we viewers know he's not going to lodge a complaint if she refuses him, Isabela doesn't know that. She said no and he kept persisting. Doing her cleaning wasn't sweet, it was presumptuous. What if he did a poor job? She'll get blamed. And now she can't gracefully decline dinner without looking like a mean person. Raj really put her in a tough spot.
  16. It's important to remember that a SCOTUS appointment requires a 2/3's majority in the Senate and the Republicans don't have it. They'll need a candidate that at some Democrats will vote for as well.
  17. But Elizabeth was still a girl and the Queen Mother still has childbearing years ahead of her. A prince could have usurped Elizabeth in the line-up. A remote chance for sure but a chance none the less. And I don't think anyone expected George to die so soon. I believe they felt Elizabeth would be much older and there would be more time to prepare her. At the very least, her marriage wouldn't be quite so new and her husband would have shouldered more of the burden. A Prince Phillip that has gotten a good 10-15 years more out of his naval career might have been much more a support in those early years than the resentful Prince Phillip we're seeing.
  18. I'm finding it hilarious that Claire Foy (The Queen) and Edward Stoppard (photographer Tony Jones) will once again be playing in-laws. They previously did so on the revival of Upstairs Downstairs.
  19. Not sure if this is the right thread or not but Conviction has been cancelled by ABC. Which reignited my hope that we get Peggy back.
  20. I'm making assumptions, mostly based on how voice has been slurring. It can be a sign of a brain tumor.
  21. The original concept was to make the current Steve the grandson of the first Steve. But that was changed before filming started to be just a straight reboot instead. Our Steve is named for his grandfather, who died at Pearl Harbor and is not connected to the Jack Lord character.
