  1. And I didn't see it. Anyone want to tell me what happened?
  2. Breaking the pattern here. Previously the word "Jedi" is used in the 3rd film of the trilogy set, not the second. I'm thinking this verifies that Rey *isn't* Luke's daughter. Given how very tightly information about the plot is controlled, I don't think the title of the movie is going to reference a major plot point nearly a year before release.
  3. I'm finding it hilarious that Horn-dog Howard now gets to raise a daughter and come to terms with how disgusting some of his past behavior was. Must be mighty humbling and not pleasant for him to think about.
  4. Weird episode. That scene with Bernie and the crying baby at the beginning was from the last episode, when they were all talking about their holidays. I get the friction between Leonard and Penny and I was actually pleased to see it, it seems very true to life. But it was very poorly executed. As someone said above, it felt like scenes were missing. I do like seeing Sheldon make an effort while staying Sheldon. I imagine that is tricky to write and potray but they seem to be doing it. If I remember correctly, that bedroom had carpet and a lot more furniture when Howard lived there. The squeaking might not have been as noticeable. And he wouldn't have been concerned about waking up a baby at that time.
  5. I'm going to miss Granger. He really grew on me after awhile.
  6. Oh no! I had figured he was sick but not *that* sick. I thought he was retiring or something. His poor family.
  7. I've seen those rumors swirling around too and just based on how awkward it was when Tony showed up last year, I believe them. Which probably explains why the Granger character was created back in Season 3. They needed some sort of authority figure over Hetty and Director Vance could only be *mentioned* so many times before the story would demand he actually show up. So they put in an Assistant Director that take on that role and Director Vance is hardly mentioned again and not seen until Season 6. And it's a shame because it does impact some of the stories told here. I'm really digging this mole storyline. They've spend so much time crafting and building up to what is looking like a 3-part climax. And the first episode knocked it out of the park. But the deeper we get, the more it highlights Vance's absence. Especially now with Granger not only sick but arrested and badly injured. For the Agency Director to not be on site as this goes down is ludicrous. And this isn't the first time either. There's been stuff on the Mothership that *should* have been at least mentioned here. NCIS headquarters got blown up a few years ago. I would think the LA team have something to say about that. How about the time Vance's wife was killed by a rogue Mossad agent? It doesn't come up at least once when Mossad agents turn up in LA? I think that is something that the production company that oversees all 3 of the shows needs to think about. Bad blood or not, if you create a universe with multiple shows that co-exist with each other and impact each other, then you have cross them over from time to time. Maybe not in person, actors can only be in so many places at one. But they should least reference each other. Otherwise, what is the point of having them in the first place?
  8. Yeah, way too soon for this.
  9. Kensi was *really* close to being back in the last episode. She was convinced she was ready, Nate was rather less so but it was more concerning her mental state than her physical readiness.
  10. I'm thinking her icy reception was also due to the fact she's Galens daughter. He's a high ranking Imperial who's building a super weapon. No knows yet that he's been sabotaging it. They are not going to be warm and welcoming to his kid.
  11. To me, the more I think about it, the lack of Vance is really the only huge, gaping plot hole in what is turning out to be a rather densely woven plot. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure I can think of others if I try hard enough. But this is really standing out. Not only that Vance isn't there but that there has been no mention of notifying him or SecNav. Not only have several of his employees been arrested but one of his Assistant Directors has been attacked and looks to be critically injured. Vance should be all over this. As in: get on a plane and bring back-up if needed. I'm sure Gibbs wouldn't mind snarling at a few folks. I'm thinking the guys will out of custody pretty quickly when the next episode starts. The sniper hitting Duggan is probably going to be the lynch pin that convinces ATF and DEA at least that this really is a set up and someone is using them for their own ends. That wasn't just a murder, that was an assassination and in front of the FBI to boot. I can't imagine these agencies will be pleased to find out their being used either. This might just turn into a large inter-agency task force. LAPD will actually be trickier giving Whiting's history with Deeks and the fact he really is guilty of that particular crime. I don't think Tiffany will turn on him but you never know.
  12. I got to say, the meerkats have done an outstanding job of stepping up to the plate. Until now Barrett and Renee have mainly spent their time on the main set and really haven't had to put in the physicality that the other actors have. But between MF getting sick, Linda apparently reducing her time and Dani needing maternity leave, both the actors and characters have had to cover more and are doing a great job.
  13. Wow! Are we seriously going to have to wait 2 weeks to find out what happens?! I really think Granger is going to die. There's something about how Miguel is playing it that makes me think he's *not* acting and that these are real-life health problems. Which I hope he is able to resolve but I'm really starting to think he's retiring and Granger is going out in a blaze of glory. Kensi is back in the field and at her previous level of competency. If this doesn't improve her mental state by about a 1000% then she has must deeper issues. And she's pulling her favorite move, the groin attack! I'm getting the feeling that Deeks and Kensi are going to elope, rather than have a long engagement and more traditional wedding. Spouses cannot be compelled to testify against each other and if IA is threatening to subpoena Kensi then getting married will legally circumvent that. We shouldn't forget that Deeks really did kill that dirty cop all those years ago. Just because IA is being used to get to him now doesn't this can't resurface later. For one heart stopping moment I thought Eric really was the mole when he pulled off that ski mask and before Nell spoke to him on comms. Good call-backs to previous characters (Talia) and plotlines (the trap door in the boatshed). Even Duggan was slightly less dick-ish. I do have to think though that Director Vance should be on the ground in LA if things have gone this far to hell. This is his agency and he needs to be on scene. I am very intrigued to find out what happens next!
  14. The circus has already retired their elephants to a sanctuary that they run. I can't be sure but I'm guessing the herd was kept together since the RR/BB owns the facility. I don't think they are going to put any of the animals into the wild. They will most likely go to zoos or other wildlife properties.
  15. Looks like a bit more info about this mole storyline: http://www.spoilertv.com/2017/01/ncis-los-angeles-episode-814-under.html I think this gives a bit more clarity about how this is going to go. Clearly the guys get set up for various crimes next week. Whomever this mole is, they are trying to use other agencies to take Our Heroes out of the fight. Given that this episode shows a picture of LAPD Internal Affairs in the field *with* the guys, the take-em-out gambit didn't work. I'm guessing the agencies that were used didn't appreciate it that much. Lots of familiar returning faces. Definitely something to do with the CIA, since we have at least 3 of their folks showing up just based on the cast list for 814. And who here is completely unsurprised that Kensi's pal Sullivan is *not* who he said he was. This is starting to look better and better. A rogue Hetty is usually good for a few twists and turns. I do have to say though, shouldn't Director Vance show up at some point if things have gone this screwy?

    The Star Wars Saga

Vader was the one bringing the interrogation (torture) droid into Leia's cell. I don't think that indicates a soft spot.
  17. I have to think you wouldn't be the only one to try that @lh25!
  18. I think a lot of new moms end up in tears, especially when the baby isn't easily consoled.

    The Star Wars Saga

I think part of the reason Vader latched onto and became obsessed with Luke was that he still carried the name Skywalker. Of course Vader is going to then realize this is the son he thought dead! Was Anakin even aware Padme was carrying twins? Or what their genders where? I think is a combination of a lower power level and the fact Leia doesn't go by Skywalker. There's no reason for Vader to look further for connections.
  20. Well geez, now I'm wondering if it's Granger! Maybe he's been playing a long con all along. Or covering for something his daughter did?
  21. Well this doesn't sound good. http://www.tvguide.com/news/ncis-la-mole-ll-cool-j/ @Samantha84, do you have any info on contract statuses? Or is Miguel sick in real life, not just Granger on-screen?
  22. I didn't want to put this in the Kulinda episode thread, because it's not really about the episode but I completely agree with @MostlyC that Nate is the mole. Peter Cambor doesn't come back for one-off scenes at the end of the episode. Every other time he's come back it's because Nate has been integral to the plot. I think that whatever is about to go down next week with Hetty's deadline nearing and the 4 guys being framed and arrested, his being there is part of it. Whether he's the chief puller-of-strings or a just a lackey, I think Nate was there to destabilize Kensi and make sure she can't interfere in whatever plans are going down. She's been out on medical leave for so long that framing her as well might not work at this point but he can make sure she's in too much a funk to be of any use to the guys. At least that is my theory.
  23. *Kirsten Dunst* underwent inpatient treatment for depression a couple of years ago. It was not a drug issue.
  24. Nice to see Nell continuing her adventures in the field. Boo that Kensi is still struggling. Although I give the show props for keeping the actress on a reduced schedule after her maternity leave. Shooting a couple of scenes a week, with no action sequences, must be a nice break for Daniela while making it clear that her job is secure. Looking forward to next week!
