  1. Just saw it and loved it Question: at the very end, when Kamala is talking to Kate, she references someone having a daughter. And I missed that person’s name. Did anyone catch it?
  2. Christmas Vacation is a deeply secular movie. If Jill is aware enough to even recognize Cousin Eddie, then she’s definitely getting more and more exposure to the wider world.
  3. I will be super proud of her if she knows who Cousin Eddie is.
  4. Taylor will be returning in season 12! Provided that the strike ends in time….
  5. That’s just awful! I feel so bad. Not just for his life being cut short too soon. But you know the press is going to hound the other five unmercifully over this. And they were all so close!
  6. Look who’s next out the door! Does this mean we get Erin back?
  7. You should have seen him with a tee shirt gun on The Late Show!
  8. I’m guessing they plan to do a show about the strike and workers rights, or they had some thing that was almost ready to go when the strike occurred and they’re able to just put the finishing touches on that.
  9. I would certainly hope so!
  10. Oh no! To be honest, I give up watching the show like 10 years ago, but if they decide to have a good funeral for Ducky, I would tune back in for that one.
  11. I listened to that one today. Very funny, but what I said previously is even more evident. One of them even flat out stated how much Jimmy must be depending on his writer some producers.
  12. Given how very very pregnant Amanda was, I suspect there was some impetus behind the Christmas elopement.
  13. I just listen to the third episode of the Strike Force Five podcast. It’s really becoming apparent that Fallon cannot keep up with the other four intellectually. His dependence on his writers is really showing. The other hosts banter very easily, and are quite quick-witted. Jimmy just always seems several steps behind.
  14. Does it seem like the new cast members turnover quicker and quicker? No one really seems to stay more than a season or two.
  15. I’m re-watching this now that it finally dropped on PBS. And I’m thinking that with every passing season, Shelagh gets more and more out of touch with how the world works. Rhoda is in labor and rightfully upset about an unplanned baby that is going to turn their household upside down. She is in distress about the actual problems this will bring and trying to communicate that she is unhappy. And Shelagh just completely dismisses it in that weird empathy voice that she does and just starts talking about how a mothers heart has infinite space. That does not actually solve any of Rhoda’s *actual problems*. Her husband has an alcohol issue. She has three children at home and money is tight. This is not even bringing up that the third child is *very* disabled and needs a ton of hands-on care. She is essentially homeschooling her youngest while tending to a myriad of her physical needs. And keeping up with her house and her older children. A baby is not a loving magical Band-Aid. It’s not going to make their household even more special. It is an enormous burden that Rhoda rightfully doesn’t want. And Shelagh just cannot seem to understand that. And it drives me nuts. Love is not the problem here. The problem is Susan needs to use the restroom while the baby is nursing. The problem is the baby is out of clean diapers which means the laundry has to get done but right now someone also to supervise Susan’s physical therapy with her artificial legs. The problem is that Bernie is struggling with employment because it’s England in the late 60s but they still need to eat. All the platitudes in the world are not going to solve this. And I really wish Shelagh would recognize that.

  18. Eliza Dushku and her husband donated $7.5 million to Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. And she’s working on. 19. No disrespect to The X-Files but Red Right Hand belongs to Scream 😁
  20. Wow! It was already gonna be hard enough to explain how much he’s grown from the normal summer break but now that it’s indefinite due to the dual strikes, how on earth can they possibly ignore this? Are they gonna have to time skip?
  21. NBC pushed almost all their scripted shows to mid season, including the Chicago trio. At the very least, this will be a shorter season.
  22. Gina Torres (Lonestar) posted with Peter, Aisha and Oliver from the picket lines https://www.instagram.com/p/Cu2KZFaJf2i/?igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==
  23. Not surprising. ABC pushed most of their scripted stuff to midseason as well. Hopefully this gives Taylor time work out whatever caused the leave of absence.
