  1. It’s a table for two 😉
  2. That wouldn’t surprise me either. I also wouldn’t be surprised if her ex, now having seen her in action and understanding this part of her life a little bit better, becomes a lot more cooperative regarding custody and keeping his new girlfriend in check.
  3. The fact that those questions are unanswered is reason enough to pull Langdon from duty. And leaving aside whether or not he’s high, he was caught red handed stealing drugs. That’s enough to yank him right there.
  4. Except that those hands might be high or impaired right now. And Robby has no way of knowing.
  5. I’m starting to think he isn’t. It’s too cliche at this point.
  6. Holy Mary, Mother of…!!!! That was freaking awesome and heartbreaking. And we have to wait another week!?!?!?! And the first 10 minutes or so was *very* reminiscent of ER “Exodus” IYKYK
  7. That’s what I immediately thought of when I heard that name. I remembered The Simpsons using the reference in one of the Treehouse of Horror episodes, the one where Maggie is a demon child ala The Omen. The name also made me think of Zuul from Ghostbusters.
  8. Well, we’re approximately two years out from the finale at this point, and we don’t know how long it’s going to be before the next season debuts. Jason said they are currently writing, not that they are in production. Ted’s son was around 11 or 12 when season three wrapped. He’d be in his mid teens now and maybe he wants to go to the UK with his dad. Or maybe Ted feels more comfortable going back now that his son is older. Time has passed, they’re not gonna just pick up immediately where they left off, especially if the bulk of the male Richmond team isn’t going to appear. Picking back up again a few years down the road will make it easier to explain a new cast. Players will have transferred to different teams or retired or gone back to their home countries just as they do with real world sports teams.
  9. So Ryan Guzman has actually left the show?
  10. Are you in the right forum?
  11. I kind of love that! Both Nathan reminding us all that it’s just a TV show and we don’t need to look at it too hard along with that pitch for the final scene of the series.
  12. This one was pretty good! No sign of either of the annoying rookies. A lovely bit of levity as they were searching the TV set. And some excellent friendship scenes.
  13. I took that as the librarian (can’t remember her name sorry) putting the mess back on Ava to resolve as it should be.
  14. I’ve noticed the same thing. And it’s really sad.
  15. I’m mostly checked out on the show and only give it real attention when the other Coopers are scheduled to appear.
  16. To be fair, the shifts are 24 hours not 48. It’s one day on two days off and that’s pretty doable with a nanny. It would actually be harder to juggle if they didn’t work in the same firehouse because they might be on opposite shifts. For every day they work, they only need one day of coverage. Which means on days off parents are able to tag team the insanity of young children. It’s not one parent covering everything while the other ones at work and then vice versa.
  17. Severide is a Lieutenant and would need to take the Captain and then Chief tests, something he’s indicated multiple times he has no interest in. He has the exact level of responsibility that he likes and isn’t interested in increasing it. Not to say that Herman should be in charge! Herman should never be in charge of anything.
  18. It says a lot that Gregory willingly handed out the recorders rather than continue the oldies conversation. Those instruments are in instruments of torture.
  19. Oh my god! Michelle died. She was only 39. https://tvline.com/news/michelle-trachtenberg-dead-buffy-the-vampire-slayer-obituary-1235413704/
  20. I think it’s going to be Smitty who sells out the liar. He walked up just as liar was making the note about the road closure. Smitty might be lazy and primarily comic relief but I’m pretty sure he’s opposed to his coworkers getting cooked.
  21. I was going to say, James or Tristan couldn’t have darted over and knocked on the door to get the goose even if it was Christmas morning? Sure they’ll eat later but they will still eat what is an increasingly rare nice meal. And they may not realize it now But rationing is going to go on into the 50s. They need to get the good stuff while they can because it is not going to last.
  22. Oh yes, Edward is not out of danger in any sense of the word. In fact, he’s probably in more danger now with the Japanese assault on Singapore eminent. The city fell a week after being attacked and it was utter chaos.Unless he’s evacuated to Australia right away, he’s facing a grim fate. And Audrey most likely won’t have any idea what happened to her son. Mail from the Far East to England would have taken 2 to 3 months, provided he was even able to get a letter out before the city falls. The Japanese were not signatories to the Geneva convention at the time and were not inclined to share information such as prisoner lists or participate in prisoner exchanges the way the Germans would have (at least with the western allies). There were some civilians repatriated in 1942 and 1943, but most of those were in the Philippines. There’s a high likelihood that Edward is captured, and if he survives that, might be in interned for years. With Audrey having no way of knowing whether he’s alive or dead.
  23. Technically, Bailey is not the one who hired the hitman. She figured out the hitman was following her, figuring he’d find Jason that way, and she actually got the drop on him. The hitman gave her his number and said to give him a call if Jason shows up. Still very illegal!
  24. I’m guessing the cost efficiency is made up in regards to better infection control by keeping patient separated plus you have to consider that patient privacy laws are significantly stricter than they used to be and violating them can be quite costly. The old style Nightingale awards with several dozen patients lined up next to each other would be an absolute nightmare in terms of patient privacy today. A dear friend of mine who is an RN said they struggled with that quite a bit during Covid, trying to balance privacy and infection control with a desperate need to squeeze in as many beds as possible.
