  1. Yeah Texas is getting better. He’s definitely been losing some of the cocky attitude and once he adjust himself more to how LAPD does things then I think he’ll do fine. He’s definitely been knocked for a few loops since he started and that will definitely help deal with his ego.
  2. I did enjoy seeing one crook turn on the other at the safe house. He wanted his deal dang it!
  3. Yes, Val Kilmer did appear in the Top Gun sequel. His vocal issues were written into the script. It was actually a lovely scene between Iceman and Maverick.
  4. Overall, I think it was a good show, but the 40th was much stronger. It feels like more planning went into the 40th as well in terms of nostalgia in the sketches, in pairing new cast members with old cast members and the pre-tapes referring to things like auditions in digital shorts. Unfortunately utilizing all of those elements in this show would’ve just been a repeat of 40, which is why I think it felt so uneven.
  5. Given the corporate HR across-the-board tends to be a lot more active these days, I would guess that the drugs of choice have changed and their consumption is a bit more discreet.
  6. I wonder if there is a raging after party planned like there was for the 40th. The way Seth and Jimmy told it it was the after party to end all after parties.
  7. It won’t happen, but the closing shot should be Lorne with the surviving original cast members saying the good nights.
  8. Kenan is having a hard time not breaking. Also, how did they get the sketch past standards and practice?
  9. Has anybody else noticed that all the stage crew are wearing tuxes tonight as well?
  10. In the 1970s, the city was having terrible financial trouble and at one point President Gerald Ford made it clear that the federal government would not give any assistance telling the press “New York can drop dead”.
  11. I think I liked the 40th special better. So much of what they did then would’ve really worked for this show but using it for the 50th would just be repetitious.
  12. I feel like NBC is about to pay Disney a very large royalty
  13. Did they just put Adam Driver in a hotdog costume and make him sing?
  14. Sand-man is killing it!!!
  15. They got Jack Nicholson out of the house!
  16. I’ll bet money that Che wrote that joke
  17. I suspect it is extremely extremely true. And that a significant portion of the audience feels it’s really speaking to them too.
  18. Alec Baldwin wasn’t convicted of anything.
  19. I’d like to know the same thing!
  20. Sabrina has a lovely dress but it’s too sheer.
  21. You’re telling me Hodgins doesn’t know any better than to rip off Caroline Julian!? 😁
  22. I’m watching this again and as Adam is being put into the ambulance at the end because of the cut on his arm, you can see one of the extras walk by in a turn out coat that says EMS-PIC Brett at the bottom. Clearly somebody pulled one of Kara’s old costumes out of storage! 😂
  23. Oh hell, no! This is gonna come to a very messy climax And Lucy is going to be wishing she had gone to Gray with her concerns a whole lot sooner.
  24. I don’t think that would be the case. Sigfried hired a housekeeper more because he’s a man and therefore not going to turn his hand to “women’s work“ within the house plus he needed another adult on hand when Tristan was young and could afford to hire it out. If he hadn’t been able to afford a housekeeper, he probably would have hastily married in a union that was more of a mutual economic benefit than any sort of love. This isn’t Downton Abbey, where Sigfried is some sort of aristocrat, and therefore it would be a social come down to perform any kind of labor. It’s more of the gender divide than anything else. If Audrey and Siegfried were to marry, the only real change was that she would act as hostess in the event they were entertaining and would share their bedroom. Maybe have someone in once a week to help with the washing.
