With Georgie moved out and Sheldon in California, I think Missy would be significantly happier having Meemaw in the house rather than just her and Mary on their own.

That baptism scene just pissed me off. The least Mary could’ve done was arranged for it to be private. She knows Sheldon doesn’t believe in this, she knows the church is aware of his beliefs and you cannot begin to tell me there weren’t people sitting in that congregation who were gonna gleeful about getting one over on the 14 year old atheist.

I am annoyed. We did not see older Coopers at the end. Even if they didn’t have any lines, I would’ve loved to have seen Laurie, Courtney and Jerry, arriving for that hockey game. The utter glee that Georgie would have over his brother raising a jock, would have been priceless.

I’m sobbing. And I didn’t even cry at Titanic or Inside Out or when the dog died in Old Yeller.

I’ll give them credit, this one was a nailbiter. And I am looking forward to seeing how it gets resolved next week. Also, in some of those squadroom scenes did Kim appear to be multiple months pregnant? Or was it just me?

You know, as I think about it, Georgie asserting that Sheldon was wrong for going off to college and leaving him to look after Mary and Missy is kind of messed up. Sheldon was 14. What exactly was he supposed to accomplished by skipping grad school and staying in Medford? He’s too young to work, even by Texas standards. And if Mary is moping around about missing her baby boy, those emotions are hers to manage not Sheldon’s.

Thursday is going to absolutely destroy me. And I suspect the worst part is going to be seeing how *alone* Sheldon is.

Reagan has said that she is not appearing in the spin off and that she is ready to move on. so unless they recast Missy, we’re not gonna see Georgie and Mandy back to cohabitating with his mother.

Seth might be ready to wind it down. He voices half the characters and he’s got a lot of other projects going on.

I suspect Family Guy is winding down.

I love that preview clip! It was a little weird to hear Lance and Zoe without the Texas accent, though. And it definitely confirmed that Montana has been using his 100% natural accent this entire time!

Episode before this one had to throw away line that he’s at some course in Atlanta. It’s why Kylie’s been covering for him.

I DVR’d this one and just watched it again. Ian is such a good actor. He’s a little hit or miss on the show because the writing can be really uneven, but the moment when he sits down in the chair after hearing that George has died, you can just see in his facial expression and his body language and how he moves that we’re now going to see the Sheldon we met on Big Bang. It’s like in that moment he metamorphosed into Jim Parsons version of the character.

Oh god 😢 When he walked out the back door I thought we were going to hear him hit the ground.

In my head, I’ve always assumed she got with Raj. He was definitely interested and the last time we saw Missy on Big Bang her marriage was on the rocks.

The math absolutely can work out that this is a kid Kelly never knew about. Until he and Stella finally figured it out he was quite the ladies man and it’s not at all out of left field that a previous partner might not have informed him. I don’t think he would be related to Stella. Damon definitely seems way more interested in Kelly than he does Stella.

That’s the first place my brain went as soon as I heard that name.

That was pretty good. Definitely a different kind of story. Reasonable explanation for why emergency vehicles are being stolen. All in all, not bad. I still wanna know what’s going on with the truck floater that seems a little too interested in Severide though. I’m still rolling with the popular theory that Jack Damon is Kelly’s kid and he still working up the nerve to say it.

This sneak peek actually indicates there might be a reason that the childhood bedroom we see for Sheldon on Big Bang doesn’t match what we see on this show. Remember that episode where Sheldon and Howard stopped by to surprise Mary after Howard gave a talk at NASA? Well, if George takes this job that explains why the bedrooms don’t match and how Mary is now driving distance from NASA.

I was about ready to throttle Connie. Not only that she was trying to weasel out of her completely appropriate punishment for actually breaking the law, but also acting like the incredible deal she got is some sort of heinous burden. 180 hours of community service is four hours a day, Monday through Friday for nine weeks. Four hours of going down to the church and doing whatever needs to be done. You’re telling me the sanctuary doesn’t need some cleaning?

I just said this on a different thread, but I think it also belongs here. Up until they announced the spin off, my theory was always that it would turn out that Cece was not Georgie‘s child. Simply to explain the complete lack of any mention of her on Big Bang theory, particularly once Young Sheldon got started. Not even a throwaway line about why Sheldon‘s niece is missing his wedding? Or when Georgie is ranting about having to support the family, he didn’t include any mention that he was also raising a daughter at the same time? Or of all the ways Sheldon has disparaged his family, he never brought up his teenage parenthood? That doesn’t seem like something Sheldon would fail to mention when he’s trying to emphasize that he’s the family success.

Right up until they announced that spinoff, I kind of always had it in the back of my head that it would turn out that CC was not actually Georgie‘s child. That was my theory to explain why there was never any mention of her at all on Big Bang theory, not even at Sheldon‘s wedding.

I don’t see it as Mary covering for her, I see it as Mary could either take Sheldon down there and let him loose or deal with an irritated Sheldon and in her home. That was clearly in self-defense!

That’s a good theory! Given that he certainly used to get around with the ladies, I’m a little shocked we haven’t had a ‘surprise kid’ scenario yet.
