  1. Carver turning out to be a Bad Guy might be kind of interesting. I can see that playing out as really shaking up the house that someone they welcomed and trusted shouldn't have been. Boden has always run place with an 'open door, come on in policy' both for the community and the employees. New folks are pretty much always welcomed. Having multiple characters really question that trust and struggle with how they run their house could be fairly intriguing. Disclaimer for the next part: I'm one of the few that likes Stella. I think it could be particularly interesting for Stella to cope with as Carver's commanding office. She hasn't liked him since the academy and was not happy with Boden bringing him on board. While she's been utterly professional with him, there is definitely a coldness. I think Carver turning out to be a villain in someway might lead to several things, among them Stella questioning herself and her skills (she's still a pretty new office) plus creating conflict between Stella and her mentor (Boden). Overall though this episode was pretty bland. I'm all for Stella having career aspirations but Fire Cop doesn't need to be one of them.
  2. I know it was meant to be played for laughs but Missy announcing her teacher's affair and pregnancy is going to devastating for Darlene. Not that I condone her behavior but she's probably going to lose her job. And if the community turned on the Coopers because Georgie isn't married, what are they going to say about an unfaithful wife?
  3. Look who's working together again: https://tvline.com/2022/11/02/pitch-perfect-peacock-series-trailer-bumper-in-berlin-release-date/
  4. And that will keep me reading recaps instead of watching. I'm not okay with sweet Jimmy Chance being an evil Gilead wannabe
  5. Of course Chim set up Hen and Karen. Of course he did. 😁 Loved that touch of Karen always calling him Howie while Hen calls him Chimney.
  6. She's guest starred on Young Sheldon several times
  7. Ryan Murphy's version of #oneLA?
  8. Have you met Hermann? 😁 This is completely in character for him. He's a cranky curmudgeon and pretty conservative in a lot of ways. This perfectly in character for him
  9. Didn't like the focus on Felony Barbie. But I did like getting a glimpse of Adam and Kim's continuing to coparent and apparently being happy with their 'modern family'.
  10. They did meet briefly a couple of seasons ago. For some reason Jo was tapped to retrieve a baby that had been safe dropped at the fire station.
  11. Mary also mentioned her siblings back in Season 1. She and Connie were arguing and Mary brought up 'making dinner for Charlene and Edward' more times than Connie did.
  12. I think the the Family Guy writers finally found the line 🤢
  13. Is Aisha leaving the show? Cause this felt like Aisha is leaving.
  14. Bit of 'scoop' in tvline.com about Violet https://tvline.com/lists/manifest-final-season-4-spoilers-zeke-michaela-jared-triangle/ My theory:
  15. I'll bet money that by the end of the season Buck ends up a single dad to the donor baby because Reasons (that do not resemble reality)
  16. Yes it did. Admittedly the time-line in the show was played with (the real Mary committed her kidnapping several years later and in a different city, Jenny only read about it in the paper having left nursing) but Mary was mentally disturbed by losing her child. And did take an infant from its pram.
  17. Snarky Hen is my favorite Hen. A surprisingly realistic twist in the medical school storyline. Revisiting Athena's missing childhood friend. No Eddie or Maddie angst. Good job show!
  18. I don't think the guy he stabbed at the cabin is dead.
  19. I'm glad he wasn't and that she has professional reasons to dislike him, not personal.
  20. No, not really. Sounds like an outreach program to me.
  21. I was actually thinking the opposite. That it makes total sense for May to be a fish out of water socially. She's spent the last two years working an intense, stressful job that carries heavy responsibilities. She's used to interacting with older adults and being treated as their peer. She was maintaining her own home, from her own paycheck. And her job has made her very aware of the world and its issues. She's grown a LOT in the last two years. May is in a completely different place mentally and emotionally. She'll probably do very well academically but will struggle socially. Especially with dorm life. She's going from living on her own, on her own terms to communal living with rules about visitors/quiet hours/alcohol etc. That has the potential to be a rough transition.
