  1. Hey MostlyC, you know this thread is unlocked right?
  2. A rather funny entry from the CBS blog. http://www.cbs.com/shows/ncis_los_angeles/insider_blog/1003911/
  3. Having now seen the clip, I'm convinced that May knew exactly what she was doing when she told Skye that the shrink was her ex-husband. Girl can be very manipulative when she wants to be.
  4. Yeah, her hair is definitely growing out. I'm glad to see it. I'm really not a fan of the short look. I thought the long hair was much more flattering.
  5. Dark World had definite hints that Sif is interested in Thor. In fact Odin was trying to get Thor interested in her. But Thor only has eyes for Jane.
  6. Did I hear Coulson tell Mack to pass a supply list to Maria Hill while they were taking inventory? Because that would indicate Maria/Stark Industries are allied with SHIELD and therefore Bobbie/Mack communicating with them shouldn't be a huge secrect.
  7. I agree BetsyBoo. I'm very glad to see that neither is acting overprotective of other. When they inevitably get found out, at least the argument can be made that their work has not been affected.
  8. Kind of a blah episode. A little too much focus on Sam and Callen discussing their differences.
  9. Yes it was. I believe one of the parents compared Alex to a 'self-cleaning' oven. She had a pretty good breakdown on her birthday from stress but both Phil and Claire seemed to have reverted right back to old patterns. Hailey and Luke continue to require more supervision/interaction/participation day-to-day, coupled with the fact that ultimately Phil/Luke and Hailey/Claire more common bonds, which results in Alex being very overlooked. I thought one of the saddest moments I've ever seen on this show was from the 6th season premiere, when it became evident to Alex that her family was happier without her.
  10. As funny as therapy round two was, what stood out for me was the loneliness of the Cloris Leachman character. That shot of her struggling with the groceries nearly broke my heart.
  11. I really hope Alex gets accepted at MIT or some other prestigious East Coast school and gets away from her crazy family for awhile, I know it won't happen unless Ariel Winter is actually written out/has massively reduced screen time but it's nice to think of Alex finding her place without being overshadowed by a needy sister and overlooked by oblivious parents.l
  12. I don't have any sympathy for the woman in the lost baggage office. For starters, she works in the lost baggage office. It is actually her responsibility to find lost luggage. Offering 500 miles does not solve the problem and is actually a rather insulting way of trying to fob them off. And given the importance of the luggage (mother's ashes!), she really should have been taking it more seriously. Half-hearted comments about the bag being picked up by someone else doesn't help the situation and just make her look like she is passing the buck. I can absolutely see how Bernie came to the end of her rope seeing how distressed Howard was. Given that the bag was located after she started yelling, clearly it was capable of being found in the first place.
  13. I thought Howard looked like he was tearing up when he and Bernadette were hugging. And I totally buy that sort of blank shock beforehand. It was the same reaction I had when a good friends's father died out of the blue. I'd just seen them the night before and his death came out of nowhere.
  14. I was very pleased to see that the episode title did not refer to the relationship ending and the thought did cross my mind when I saw it.
  15. I agree about the friends thing. Doesn't sound like the kind of friends Kensi would have. I was actually kind of glad that they agreed to spend a little more time apart. I'm shocked they hadn't killed each other yet. I know my husband and I would have. Our household includes anti-social Mondays, where we will say 'hello' upon getting home from work and hide from each other the rest of the night. It's how we keep it together.
  16. Did anyone else have a hard time imagining that Kensi has a bunch of friends that sound like "Whoo girls" (thank you HIMYM), at least from the way Deeks described them? And that she's okay with them call her Kay-Kay?
  17. Brigit Reagan is also the drug kingpin/murderer/all around birthday bad on Jane the Virgin ad well.
  18. Sam, my thought was 'holy crap! An adult conversation with actual resolution. Someone must be messing with me.' Was so glad to see that there was no disruption at work either.
  19. Aw poor Thapa! If Kensi and Deeks have been spending that much time together since Christmas, I can't believe they haven't killed each yet. My husband and I would have long since driven each other nuts. Was ready to choke when Callen said Sam died. Took a minute to pick up on the bluff.
  20. I have mixed feeling about this episode. Love the humor between Grover and Steve on the golf course. It's nice chemistry and a pleasant dyanmic between them. Neither one takes crap from the other but there's no malice to it. The UnSub (loved the use of the term!) was scary and a little too real, as stated above. Criminal Minds had a similar one a few years ago. A truly sick individual. Go Kamekona for realizing immediately that something was off and calling for help. The big guy might come off to strangers as harmless but never forget he's got more going on than they realize Melina is always going to Stella Bonasera to me and I hated seeing how she was portrayed last night. Started off strong but the screaming damsel in the distress in the end killed it for me, along with the obligatory low cut blouse. I guest we have definitive proof the NCIS/5-0verse and the CSIverse are not linked, as for 3 weeks now former CSI:NY main cast members have shown up here in different roles.
  21. I don't find Howard's issues about the relationship between Debbie and Stuart to be strange. Howard has pretty much spent his entire adult life looking after his mother. They might have yelled at each other the whole time but he was the one driving her around, making sure she took medication, keeping her entertained and pretty much staying at her beck-and-call. Yes, there was a large element of 'mamas boy' to the whole thing but he was there. And within a few weeks, Stuart has displaced him. Of course he's ticked, I'd be ticked too.
  22. What I liked about their banter was that it wasn't completely superficial. Kensi might be giving Deeks crap for passing off take-out off as home cooking but I could hear the underlying message of 'don't lie to me'. The same when Deeks got on her (lightly and humorously) about not immediately raining on his parade. I like that the more serious stuff is sort of encoded into their every day communication habits. Or it's entirely possible that I'm overthinking this.
