  1. I've been thinking about this, only because guardianship of my nephew was a recent topic in my family. Since I don't see Maura cutting the baby off from the Rizzoli's they might be just fine with it. Tommy is struggling with his own life right now and already has a child that he's not capable of parenting full-time. Frankie is just starting a very demanding career, would also be a single parent and doesn't have the monetary resources that Maura has (although I do hope Jane/Casey would be leaving plenty of life insurance). Angela is also struggling financially and still living in Maura's guesthouse, not to mention is at least in her mid-to-late 50's and has already raised her children. She might not want to start all over again (that was my mother's stance when asked about guardianship). Maura has the resources (ability to hire a nanny, room in the house, at least some control over her work hours) that the Angela/Frankie/Tommy don't. And if she is willing and able to care of the baby, then why not? Frankie/Tommy are still uncles and Angela is still Grandma. I don't know enough about Casey's family to factor them into the equation.
  2. I have this lovely vision in my head of Leonard being absolutely embraced by Penny's family. Her dad already likes him and I can see a mother-in-law that dotes on him and siblings-in-law that welcome him into the fold. I'd really like for Leonard.
  3. Adhesive Duck Deficiency for sure! And Zazzy Substitution.
  4. Actually I think it's rather realistic that Jane at least feel Maura out about guardianship. Casey's in a war zone and has already been seriously injured once. And it doesn't sound like there have been any decisions made about him making lifestyle changes due to the baby either. Should something happen to Jane, Casey won't be taken off active duty because he's a single parent. He'll still be deployed and expected to find childcare. I can't see Jane denying Casey his parental rights or limiting his time with the baby if he comes back from his deployment. But right now he is overseas and it's prudent for her to consider herself a single parent and therefore plan accordingly.
  5. I'm glad Jane told Casey. And I think is very realistic to say that they're not sure what his role is going to be. He's in the army and currently deployed overseas. By default Jane is going to be the primary parent until Casey is out of the service and back in the US. Kind of hard to even do the weekend-and-holiday thing when Daddy is in a war zone. Angela is so far over the line in telling anyone that Jane is pregnant. Not her news to tell. At all. Creepy killer. I really felt bad for those victims. Guys were just trying to turn their lives around and are thrown away like trash.
  6. Particularly if you are a homicide detective that doesn't have a history of getting sick at scenes (ala Frost).
  7. Thank you! I was just saying to myself when I posted that I should have just PM'd Sam84 since she always knows this stuff.
  8. Nah, I'm not worried. I'm thinking we won't see bump until very close to the end of the summer eps and a time jump going into the winter will take care of the rest. In fact I'd put money on delivery being held for the season finale and it being contrived that Maura ends up as midwife.
  9. KPC I could have sworn that that last interview in TVGuide that DR and ECO did (right before Spoils of War aired) they mentioned shooting some 'flashback' scenes of that nature in regards to the events of Frozen Lake. And we certainly haven't seen anything, Does anyone else remember this or am I crazy?
  10. Yes! That is exactly what I was thinking. Maybe the LA team just finds Wo Fat's fingerprints at a crime scene. Even if we don't see Wo Fat, Steve would levitate across the Pacific to follow up. With Danny in tow of course. And that will lead to funny.
  11. So, over at TWOP we had some discussion going about what we would like to see next season and I thought it might be fun to continue it over here. My votes: Another crossover with Hawaii 5-0, maybe have their big bad (Wo Fat) pop up in LA. Kensi apologies to Deeks for the hitting and never does it again Hetty getting in actual trouble for a few eps over setting Kensi up Callen and Sam getting called out by Granger for the stupidity of climbing in that sub. Anybody else want to chime in?
  12. All is right with the world again, I get to agree with Samantha84. Hi Sam! I'm really hoping that she is avoiding Kensi out of guilt. Hetty has to own up to what she did and not in some one-off comment to Nell (during Spoils of War). An honest-to-God apology to Kensi and the others, followed by actual change. That is the only way to being making amends. I also need to see Kensi apologize to Deeks for the hitting, then all four guys (Deeks, Sam, Callen and Granger) for nearly getting them killed. Hetty might have put this thing in motion but Kensi is the one who took off without a plan and without telling anyone what was going on. And she can't claim she didn't know who to trust. She had a sat phone and could have called Deeks who in turn could have sicced Nell/Eric on it to hack out what was going on.
  13. That would have made too much sense Samantha84. Also, thank goodness you're here! I was starting to think this forum would stay dead until September.
  14. Nope, it's actually pretty consistent. Remember when his barber was sick and his haircut was delayed? All of a sudden he's playing bongos and going off the rails. This is very in character for him. Things change, he flips and retreats.
  15. Up until yesterday I'd think this was way over the top. Until a couple I know announced they had been separated for a couple of months due to one party not being sure what they want from the marriage but that they had gone ahead with their plan for second child anyway. Seriously. You can't make this stuff up.
  16. KPC I'm with you. Kensi is crossing into 'asshole' territory. And Deeks can't hit back. He does so even once and he'll be branded abusive.
  17. Callen and Sam are idiots. I love them but they are idiots for getting in that sub without adequate back-up.
  18. Yes! This please oh please oh please!
  19. I think this is one of their best episodes. Jay had a valid point about expanding horizons and I love how it became a family thing with Gloria and Manny as well. Phil's joy at the thought of another baby was just beautiful as was the conversation between him and Claire later. It was nice to see both of them acknowledge their insecurities about getting married due to pregnancy. It struck me as very real. I was very impressed with Mitch and Cam as well. They seem much more solid and less bicker-y. I'm so glad the wedding plotline didn't turn into them fighting all the time. I was especially impressed that their answer to paying for the wedding was to either scale back or sell something, not ask Jay for money. The kids playing that trick was diabolical, as was their parents revenge. And fleeing in terror from the sound of the lock was priceless! The look on Mitch's face as he was leaving Jay's house nearly broke my heart. He was right. If Claire hadn't done the courthouse thing Jay would have gone all out, even if he didn't like Phil that much. To still have this level of discomfort from his father must be killing Mitch right now. I did like that look Cam gave Jay as he was leaving, the 'you hurt him, I'm going to kill you look.' I'm interested in seeing Claire's reaction to this next week. At this point, I can't see anyone in the family being okay with Jay and she is particularly close to Mitch. I thought it was telling that the next thing we heard was that supportive message from Mitchell about Claire being pregnant. Those siblings have each other's backs.
  20. I'll throw one out to get us started: Who was the nastier villain Sidarov or Janvier?
  21. You are not the odd man out. My first thought was that CP does not affect cognitive abilities the way that Down's can. Jacob may have issues controlling his muscles but he is not intellectually impaired. Sally is. I didn't see that as a romantic story, I saw it as Sally being taken advantage of.
  22. I really liked this one as well. It was a nice breather after what was quite frankly a bit a grind with the last 2 episodes. I liked seeing our flirtatious Kensi-and-Deeks banter back in action. The look on Nell's face when she made that crack to Eric about notches in his bedpost was the funniest moment of the episode. Callen talking Sam down but trusting him was great. The only part that didn't fit (at least to me) was this connection Sam had the little girl. We've never heard of her before and if he was running security in Saudi Arabia recently enough that the child is close to him, shouldn't we have heard about it? He's been with NCSI (or at least partnered with Callen) for 7 years and the girl is 10. LOVED the conversation between Kensi and Deeks about family and kids. Interesting to me that both of them seemed to have reversed positions about it. Deeks realizing how vulnerable a family can make a person and Kensi pointing out that family means people who are there for you always. I don't care what the spoilers and hints from the producers have been about that DEA agent coming back in the finale and causing issues. I cannot see her coming between these two in anyway, unless she's offering Deeks some fantastic job. The closeness we saw between them in just this episode was palpable and quite frankly if that step back 2 weeks ago didn't mess it up, then I can't see Talia (is that her name?) doing so either.
  23. The Jewish woman and her mother were in a ghetto, from which they escaped and remained hidden until the end of the war. It is entirely possible that a family friend held their photographs for them (as Miep Gies did for the Frank family, including Anne's diary after the arrest). And ghettos existed in more cities in Warsaw. Warsaw is simply the most well known. Just about every major Polish city ended with ghettos. While they mostly held Eastern European Jews, some Western European Jews spend time in them as well before being sent to the camps.
  24. The box showed up in Season 4, episode Kill House. Another Kalstein ep, which is probably why it resurfaced now. They do seem to be playing the long game here.
  25. I think I got my hopes up a little too high for this ep. It just felt like stuff was missing. Like, we when Kensi was arguing about being kept in Ops-a line about how Nate had cleared her to work wouldn't have felt out of place and would have been nice continuity to when Deeks and Sam had to meet with him. Or how about some awkwardness of trying to fit back in after five months away. Stuff happened. Callen has a girlfriend. Eric got arrested in his polar bear pajamas. Deeks broke out Sven again. Sam and Deeks actually gang up on Callen from time-to-time. Nell spent more time in the field and got jumped in the boatshed. I'd like to see Kensi trying to get caught up as it were and hearing about some of this stuff. Even it's just a 'what are you talking about' to some in-joke she hasn't heard yet. And as many posters have stated, Hetty is the one who set this whole thing in motion. That has to be addressed, both with Kensi and the team as a whole. Callen, Sam and Granger were in honest-to-God combat trying to Kensi back and it was clear there was damn good chance they were going to die. Deeks broke his internal morals pretty good when he waterboarded a suspect for information. Hetty set them all up and needs to apologize at the very least. Keeping Kensi in Ops accomplished nothing. All it did was agitate her and drive Eric nuts, as well making him work double time. If Kensi has been cleared to work, then she has been cleared to work. She doesn't have the skills to work in Ops. Liked seeing Nell's conflict at being sent into the field in Kensi's place. It was one thing while Kensi was out of the country but when now that she's back and Nell is clearly taking her place (however temporary it may be) it has to be very awkward. They're friends and of course Nell doesn't want to hurt her friend but she can't refuse orders either. Nicely played by Renee.
