  1. Okay I may have benefited from having binged the whole show because I am not confused about the timing for this season. The season started off right after the last season then moved to a brief shot of March/April 2020 and then the actual start of the season was New Year’s Eve 2019-2020. The end of the last season was 8 months ago from there. Alex had her meltdown and when she left she didn’t comeback. She was gone from the show but didn’t announce her leaving right away. Apparently she let the network know a week ahead of when Bradley found out. When Bradley and Laura are talking/walking she isn’t referring to the expose being a month ago. She is talking about the moment she came to a realization about being on TMS. Basically it is talking about the first episode of the season on NYE. So the first episode was NYE. The second episode was around 3 weeks later in Jan 2020 and the third episode is the first week of Feb with Groundhog’s day and the Iowa caucus being that week. And ends the following Monday with Alex returning to the show. I did have a bit of a chuckle when I saw how Laura was dressed on the plane as it looked like something early season 1 Bradley would wear especially with the leather jacket and then by the end of the episode she and Bradley are kissing. I do wonder where this is heading because not sure what Bradley’s motives are here. Is this genuine or was this because of the vetting question? Not sure how Mitch is going to play into the larger storyline this season as it did seem his storyline ended at a good spot last season. Really wondering how COVID will play into the overall arc of the season. Right now it is on the periphery but it is getting closer to being a bigger part.
  2. Watching GH is a frustrating habit. The show has some potential and storylines that can be interesting but they always drop the ball in the end. The complete underwhelming conclusion to too many storylines makes me doubt the current storylines will have satisfactory conclusions. With Spencer/Esme it is interesting that they both have better chemistry with Cam. Also I am trying to understand why Esme seems so interested in Joss or befriending her. Part of me thinks it would be a twist but also pretty realistic if may Esme and/or Spencer were bi or fluid(whatever the term may be) Then the other part of me remembers this shows history with anything gay/bi. (Oh hi Kristina good to see you for the one day). Really enjoyed the Carly/Nina scenes and don’t have much else to say about it that hasn’t been articulated better by other posters. I do find it funny that Jason didn’t seem too concerned about Sonny’s mental health like Carly was until Sonny didn’t get angry and make violent threats against Nina. Why do I get the feeling that Sonny’s not getting angry is what Carly is going to use to justify her and Jason getting closer and probably doing things behind his back to get back at Nina?
  3. Yeah that is pretty cold with Raq using Kanan to try to kill his father. However it seems that Raq has quite the plan going on and is using her whole family. It seems like she is going to try to use the cops in her war against Nique. Which gives a whole new meaning to what she tells Juke about having cops as friends. Regarding how Juke got the information and why she went to Burke have the same answer: Raq. I think Raq is using Burke and the cops to believe that Nique is the one who is responsible for Kanan’s father (forgot his name) getting shot/killed. It is a good plan as she doesn’t have the men to straight up take on Nique. Of course there is one problem with the plan. She trusted Kanan not to screw things up. Seriously two the chest, one to the head. How f’n hard is that? Regarding Juke becoming a cop, I think that this episode and something the actress playing Juke kind of put a new thought about it. The actress in a reply to an Instagram post about Juke becoming a cop stated, “Does she become a cop or is she just someone with a badge?” So this quote along with the thought of having cops as a friend makes me think that Juke becoming a cop is her way of helping with the family business.
  4. Great performance by CG today. Not just the end scene but the beginning when she is talking with Tessa. You could kind of tell she is putting on a brave face for Tessa and it was enough that it seemed to convince Tessa that she was doing better. But as soon as Tessa got up and left the table her whole expression/demeanor changed. Regarding the previews, I am worried Mariah wanting to have a baby with Tessa is going to cause trouble with their relationship. Just not sure how. On a couple of shallow notes, Tessa has really been looking amazing lately. Also wow Sally in her workout attire.
  5. Agree with everyone about them being too relaxed at the end. Okay so I wasn’t just imagining it, no one brought up Kyle and how he is doing. Glad to see the bonding between the 4 women on the show in this episode. Though I was wondering what was up with the Liz/Isobel scene at the end. Maybe it was just the way the actress playing Isobel played it but there felt like there was some chemistry there. I doubt the show would ever go there but it would be an interesting twist for a triangle between Max/Liz/Isobel.
  6. This was another good episode. Good insight into side characters. Especially the women on the show. Glad Jack listened to Ace about the promo. Though how has he never thought of doing this type of promo till now? These type of promos have been done for years. Also glad Jack offered and Ace asked for advise about being a heel. This episode was definitely dealing with wrestlers living their gimmick even to their own detriment like Wild Bill. Got some insight into Willie. Though I was like Jack when she mentioned sex with Wild Bill. Glad her husband had that moment at the end and wish Willie had gotten one more good punch in. So is it supposed to be implied the daughter is Wild Bill’s? Curious why Bill thinks the dad’s suicide was Jack’s fault. I was really disliking the Grandmother after the dinner scene. I understand being angry and being hurt still but to basically force all of that on her grandson was just not acceptable. Definitely needed those two scenes at the end with Jack’s wife and Ace. Also think seeing his mother like this is why Jack didn’t put up an argument when his wife took a job. Really liked the Bobby and Crystal scenes. I would like to see Crystal interact with some of the other wrestlers more to get an idea of how they see her as well.
  7. Not surprised that Nicole had a tragic end but was kind of surprised how quickly it happened. As previous poster mentioned, were we supposed to be aware that she did drugs outside of smoking a joint? I thought we would get a more slow tragedy of Nicole thinking that she needed to try to fit in more with Juke’s world and taken drugs was a way and her getting addicted. Then she would eventually Od. Of course this is more realistic in that it just takes one bad batch of drugs to kill you. I wonder if the female cop uses this to make end roads with Juke especially if Juke blames her family for what happened to Nicole. I am interested in learning more about the cop. Is she going to be a good cop or is there something more to her that we will find out? Will she turn out to be a dirty cop? Lou just shot them both even if they are in the middle of sex. Why do I think Famous is going to get himself killed?
  8. Enjoying the show so far. Do agree this would have been better served as a show in the past not the present day. Totally expected the father to have a heart attack. I was thinking a hand gun to kill a deer seemed ineffective and then he kills himself. Really surprised me. Really messed up if he did know Ace was there. Though it has been hinted at that he wasn’t that good of a man. Speaking of good guy, I definitely see Ace as the young Shawn Michael type of good guy. Where he can be a good guy but his real life attitude and behavior is much more suited as a heel. Seems like Jack and Crystal both see it. As a CM Punk fan it was a treat seeing him here. I am wondering what the plans they show has with Crystal. Clearly the character wants more than to just be a valet. However it almost seems like the show hasn’t seemed to acknowledge women wrestlers. Hopefully that gets addressed.
  9. Oh man, Nicole getting addicted to drugs? Hadn’t thought about it but that could make sense. Not only with we saw from her this episode but for two other things. With Juke not able to go to Nicole’s place, they are going to have to hang around in Juke’s world more so Nicole might feel a need to try to fit in more and taking drugs could be a start. Then there is Marvin starting with Kanan’s idea which will specifically start selling to white people. Juke’s father being the cause of her girlfriend getting addicted and whatever comes from that is one of those things that can start leading into turning Juke into who she becomes. So is the Brooklyn guy going to be someone that Raq is going to have to team up with to get rid of Unique. Or is he an outside threat that forces a temporary truce with her and Unique? Agree with y’all in not understanding Raq’s plan with the inspector. I almost think that everything she is dealing with got the better of her and in anger thought she could just deal with the guy on her own. I am wondering about the abused wife and.her apparently having a brother in the business. So she has connections but her abusive husband is still alive and abusing her? I need to know more about this.
  10. Poor Scrappy didn’t even last an episode as a spy. Of course with a name like Scrappy he was always doomed. I can see why Unique put the hit on Lou. If Scrappy is for real there is a possibility of getting rid of Raq’s right hand man. If Scrappy isn’t for real then this will probably expose him. Man that scene with Kanan and Juke in the restroom at first is a really nice scene until you remember where this all heading. Wasn’t worried about Nicole being shot but was somewhat worried that something could happen to her at the show with all the male attention she as drawing. Waiting for Marvin to find out about Juke and Nicole’s relationship. I have a feeling that if Raq suspected or knew that it is one more thing that is building between Raq and Marvin. Okay glad that I wasn’t only one thinking that Det. Burke seemed to be suggesting that she might also be gay. I do wonder if she will help Juke in not only with guiding her to be a cop but also with her father finds out. I think the continual bringing up of Burke’s father is intentional.
  11. I’ll admit I read some of the comments on the forum before I could stream the episode tonight and was thinking that I hadn’t really thought WR was that bad. Sure the character sucked but his acting was okay. But holy hell I finally saw him today and jeez it was like he was still thawing out from where Finn and Liz put him. Also Nina just shot him. He is a dangerous fugitive. What trouble would she have gotten into? Or she could have killed Peter and called Valentin for help. Glad Chase did what I was hoping he would with the document. Also this episode definitely showed why they wouldn’t do a real love triangle with them. Willow and Chase have some real chemistry and their story makes them wanted to be rooted for. And Michael is the offspring of the unholy trio and thus can never lose so he basically gets the girl by default. I am sorry Carly but Jax has not changed. Yes he has lived in the grey when it came to people he cares about but the one thing that has been consistent in all his years on the show is his stance on the mob. I think the thing that changed is that Jax finally realized the real truth about her. I think Jax always assumed that Carly was like Brenda in that they put up with everything mob related because they loved Sonny and to be with him they had to accept his lifestyle. However, I think as much as Carly complained or had some issues with Sonny being in the mob, she has come to depend on the benefits of the lifestyle and isn’t willing to let them go. I am still thinking that Esme has a hidden agenda and isn’t just fatal attracting Spencer. She seems very invested in the plan even more so than Spencer.
  12. It is weird seeing Sam so concerned about Scout having a connection with Drew when she has spent the last couple of years barely acknowledging that Scout had a separate father than Danny. I did laugh a couple of episodes when she talked about Drew and said he played such a big part of Danny and Scout’s life. Then it was like the writers realized how that sounded and Sam remembered and called him Scout’s father. I believe Sam probably told Dante a half truth. Scout is being shown pictures of Drew and told stories about him. Only it is Monica doing it not Sam. Still not hating CM as Drew. Hope we get more of Curtis involved in trying to find Drew and this isn’t just Sam/Dante all the time. I liked Drew and Curtis’s friendship. I am interested in who the other prisoner could be. Both Hayden and Holly seem like good choices though I fear RB and CM having scenes together again. Wouldn’t mind a real big twist like a recast Emily or even Georgie though I fear the PTB would consider Nelle a big surprise. Soaps really use this whole two lovers having to put aside their feelings to protect the feelings of a third party who is usually ill/dying or injured too much and hardly ever gets people to root for the couple they want. Chase and Willow were a good soap couple that seemed most liked and then to break them up and create this story for Michael and Willow really has been a fail. It would have one thing if Chase and Willow weren’t a good pairing or if Michael and Willow had this undeniable chemistry but that isn’t the case hear. Agree with the poster above who suggested Chase just give the papers to Michael and walk away from the whole situation. Cause let’s face it Michael has been a crap of a friend but it isn’t like Austin has tried to act in Chase’s best interest either.
  13. Have to agree with the many other posters upset with Laura’s reaction. also liked Nik pointing out that Cyrus’s mother was kidnapped and being held hostage by Jason and Carly. I do wish Nik would point out that he has managed to forgive her for all the trauma she caused him even after he came back into her life. I mean at least Nik pretended to be dead after someone tried to kill him not like Laura who let Nik think she died while trying to put the blame on Stefan. Or there was the fact that she choose to stay away from her son again rather than let Luke find out that she had slept with Stefan and that he could have been Nik’s real father. I think Esme isn’t just randomly crazy. I think she may be using Spencer as a way in so that she can go after Ava. Granted her hair is long and straight and not as glorious, but maybe she could be the given up for adoption daughter of Connie Falconeri/Kate Howard. Or some other person that Ava harmed in her past. Regarding CM debut as Drew. Really liked BM as Drew but not hating CM here. Watched him on AMC. He wasn’t always bad and had moments when I really liked him as Ryan so hoping he can come through as Drew. Also wanting to jump in on how much I hate what they have done with Lucky. I started watching when he first came on and I was about the same age as him. I liked all three versions of Lucky. I thought GV’s Lucky was more Laura’s son who seemed more heart and of course the writing didn’t really let him be competent. JJ’s Lucky was more Luke’s son when he came back where I thought in his first run he was a good mixture of both. I really hated the show passing on a pairing of Lucky/Claire so that she could get ruined by Sonny and basically written out within a few months and Lucky could go on his Irish adventure.
  14. Was this the first time we saw Kyle’s family crest? If so it does seem very convenient to introduce it right before using it to make it look like Kyle dies. I don’t think Kyle dies but I think he needs to pretend to be dead. I think Alex’s reaction is due to having to fake Kyle’s death. Not sure what reason they will use but Alex may not agree with it. Let’s be honest, rarely is adding a dog to a TV show a bad idea. Lucky is a welcome addition Did I miss some scenes but were some of the other things in the hallucination that Isobel and Maria having never explained? Don’t care much about chemistry or not. Can’t get behind Wyatt/Rosa. If he leaves and goes off to be a better man than that is fine but please don’t let this lead to anything more. So Liz’s lab partner is shady but is he working for the company to spy on Liz shady or possibly working for the government shady? Having seen NP in other shows he definitely seems to work better as a con man type person who can be good but has the ‘devil in eyes’ over playing the good guy hero type.
  15. The twist with Nicte wasn’t that big of a twist since we didn’t really see Tally defeat her. Have to hand it to the actress playing Nicte she had a completely different energy when she was Tally to when she is playing Nicte. Speaking of Nicte, I think circumstances have kind of pushed her to go after Alder now. I think with the Camarilla, her own spree followers either getting killed or leaving, she needed to act now. I also think Tally has now presented her another way of getting to Alder. I was going to post this last week but man Willa really is going to cause her daughter to have issues. yes she died to save her but dying right when Raelle learned you were alive again. Raelle has to deal with all these conflicting feelings. Speaking conflicting feelings, the Tally vision with Alder. Not only for Tally but for me. When shows hint at things like this with older male and younger girl, I usually have major issues with it. I have the same issues here but I still kind of want it.
  16. And I thought it was just me that was liking how this season started. The only two exceptions are surprisingly the Ortecho’s storylines. Don’t really care about Liz and her research storyline or love interest. Really not liking the Rosa-Wyatt storyline and will downright hate it if it goes the romantic route. Seriously this guy hasn’t just been a racist he has assaulted her and her family. Agree that NP is doing a good job differentiating Jones and Max. Jones definitely gives off a vibe that he is hiding things. Also agree that it is poor Kyle. He literally is these idiots doctor, confidante, and parent. Yeah not seeing any logic to Maria’s plan to jump off the roof. Not surprised that the other person with Alex was the one testing him but liked how Alex figured it out. I do wonder what that machine he is going to be looking into has to do with the Pod Squad
  17. Man Alder sure just has enemies lining up against her. No wonder she wanted to keep Anacostia close. Glad that Abigail has her grandmother’s support. Interesting that grandmother wanted Petra to make the Bellweather’s the top family with no one aka Alder above them. I do wonder what some of the older witches from these types of families think of Alder. Glad the actor playing Gregorio is very different from how the actor played his Nancy Drew character. Even though they are fighting some bad guys themselves, I am not really cheering on Willa and Scylla. I prefer that they do take out the people kidnapping children and putting them in cages but not enough where I don’t them to be punished for mass murder. I know that Scylla and Rae are supposed to be the couple on this show but honestly feel like Tally and Rae would be a better pairing. This episode really made me want their friendship to be more. I don’t know maybe because there hasn’t been Rae/Scylla scenes this season but just seeing Tally and Rae together it just seems that they fit well together. It’s not going to happen but one could hope.
  18. As a child of the 80’s who grew up with He-Man, I don’t get the outrage. I think this was a good start. I am intrigued where this goes from here. Don’t believe that Adam/He-Man is dead and that Teela will have to take the mantle herself which seems to be the conclusion a lot of people upset about the ending are making. I think they want us to think Adam died especially with the whole him never being allowed back in the Hero Heaven if he dies again begin mentioned a few times before. I don’t think it is coincidence that magic has now returned and Teela has not found out the big secret about herself. I liked the flashbacks with He-Man were completely cheesy like the 80’’s version. I have to agree that SMG voice was didn’t seem a natural fit for Teela. The character’s reaction to Adam/He-Man was a bit over the top. Haven’t really seen this mentioned enough but Chris Wood’s as Adam was a natural fit. Also loved the idea that in Preternia where all the other heroes were in their Hero form. Adam remained in his regular form. It was such a telling character moment. Of course in the 80’s version Adam and He-Man were literally the same except for the outfit. I will also say as one of the only people I know who loved Orco as a kid, this was such a great storyline for his character. Though he dies in the end it was such a good death and his character had been given such a good development beforehand. Thank goodness they answered the question, that Evil-Lynne gave added the Evil part later in life and wasn’t just born with that name because really parents naming that child that are just asking for them to turn out evil.
  19. Haven’t commented as had only been watching the show occasionally in the past, but have been watching more lately and had some thoughts/observations. Was it just me but I honestly thought the bear was going to try to push Rafe to try for a threesome with Ava and Nicole? Seriously with how the bear was voiced he kind of gave off that vibe. Part of the reason started watching again was to see Dan as EJ. Watched him on Spartacus series a few years ago and really liked him then and wanted to see how he would play EJ. I do like how right now this EJ seems very calm but there seems to be something just underneath the surface. Gabi, it doesn’t have to be an either or situation. You want to live with Jake, do it but also still have the enjoyment of kicking all the Dimera’s out of the house. Sale that house and use the money to get your own house/mansion. I am sure Paulina could buy it or maybe Victor would do it just to be petty. Hell let the city buy it and they could write it off as a public safety expense considering how many crimes happen there. Looking like something may happen with Chanel/Allie which could be interesting. Though to be honest, I kind of want Allie to be bi for a storyline that I doubt the should would ever do but I would love to see it done. I would want a story like the Joey/Dorian on OLTL from years ago. Basically one of the women Sami has crossed over the years decides to get revenge on her by seducing her daughter. As I said, doubt it would happen but I will hold out hope.
  20. As a soft finale like last year, it was kind of okay. The ending was okay way to the season and lead to the new season. This seriously needs to lead to the end of Malivore. Just let it end already. If they somehow find a way to save Landon/Cleo but Malivore still survives it will really start pushing things way too far. I like Clarke. I like Landon. I even occasionally like them with Hope. In any other TV universe I could welcome them exploring a love triangle with them. But no, nope, no way in hell in this damn universe. Please Legacies writers resist the urge to make this show like TVD and the Originals with it mainly revolving around two brothers involvement with one woman. I fear the writers are trying to make subtle statements to the viewers like with Finch and Josie basically saying their relationship would be different. Which was like the writers saying ‘Hey we know we have screwed you over with those relationships that you wanted with Josie before but this one will last longer so that’s good right?’. Like the twist with Landon now being the vessel for Malivore. Though I wonder what inspiration Cleo gave him involving Hope. I am really hoping that there is some other twist with Ethan like he became a vampire or was on vervain to explain his involvement still.
  21. Watched the episode again and seen other people’s thoughts online about the episode and few more thoughts have come to mind. They seem to be making it to whether this is really going to be the beginning of Tribrid Hope to destroy Malivore or there really is some twist that will defeat Malivore. However, it also feels ridiculous to keep talking about destroying Malivore if it isn’t going to happen and the show is just going to keep dragging it along on the as the big bad. I swear they keep making me think Ric’s death is eminent with all these little heartfelt conversation he has with characters. Feel bad for Josie in this episode because we get these really deep insights into Hope and Lizzie during their childhood through the story but Josie doesn’t really have her own part of the story. Instead we find out that she read Lizzie’s diary and told some of the other witches about Lizzie’s fan fiction writing. Which while isn’t great, isn’t as bad as people seem to make it. As Lizzie keep mentioning they were eleven. I can imagine Josie being hurt reading that Lizzie thought of her as basically her servant so her wanting to get back at Lizzie isn’t that surprising. Relationships between siblings are complicated.
  22. Wow this episode really makes you see what the show could be but also annoys you for what it settles for. I like Cleo and Landon but totally honest if the show focused on these six along with adult characters like Ric and Dorian, I would be completely okay with that. Kaleb, MG and Jed were great in their limited scenes but they set right their friendships which was needed moving forward. So did we finally get a last name for Jed? The Emma/Ric scenes were good which they usually are. It is a shame they let the actress get signed with another show and not had her already signed on as a regular. she works well as someone who Ric can use as a sounding board but also does question his decisions. We need more of that. We need more of Ric’s thoughts/motivations in his actions as a lot of it is perceived by what is shown and by other characters. Loved the girls scenes. Really nice to have them dwell on their past and why they acted towards each other like they did. Did feel kind of stupid I didn’t put it together that Lizzie would have Hope as the villain even after hearing the villain was Lord Marshall. It was always weird hearing how Hope between season’s 4 and 5 of the Originals considering it looked like at the end of season 4 she was going to enjoy living a more normal life around other kids and seemed to be making friends pretty quickly. It was sad to see how this period of time really did effect who they are now. Lizzie going through her episodes, Josie trying to take care of Lizzie and Hope isolating herself for fear of losing anyone else. I want more to be explored with them. Unfortunately the Clarke reveal at the end means it is time for Malivore to return along with Landon and I am afraid a lot of the same issues that really drag the show down.
  23. Not a fan of the episode. Feel like there were too many storylines in the episode. Honestly if they stayed with the cult storyline the whole time it would been better and helped the cult storyline get more fleshed out. I mean did we ever see how Josie got one of the crystal necklaces? Didn’t really need the alpha storyline 2.0 with Finch taking Raf’s place.
  24. That was a good episode. Loved getting Cleo’s backstory. Surprisingly interested in what happens with her and Landon. Glad Hope and Landon will be going separate ways for at least an episode.Hopefully it is longer. Please tell me Jed let Finch win. Liked the Josie/Cleo scenes. Need to watch the episode again for more thoughts.
  25. Okay I may need to watch that again. I am not sure if that was a really good episode with some interesting twists or a bad episode with some good twists. Or maybe once I watch the episode again I will really be able to decide. Not sure what to think of Cleo twist. Need to see how that plays out. Both Landon twists were brought up before so weren’t too surprising but so doesn’t mean that is bad. The Ethan twist was where I feared this story might g but the actors really brought it. I almost think this could be the start of a possible evil Ethan turn at some point. it’s what happened with Cleo, I am kind of worried for Lizzie for some reason. Hopefully this is the end of Ted/Necromancer and if it is it is a good end. Kind of sad he has almost as many father/daughter talks with Josie as Alaric. For the love of God, stop trying to make Finch and Josie happen. Or at least stop trying so hard. Seriously the ‘explosive’ kiss was jus bad and not even Josie’s best kiss on the show.
