  1. I liked the Scream Halloween episode as well. Even though I thought it was pretty obvious that the Tom Martin guy was the killer on Murder Island from the beginning, I liked that he didn't end up being Kieran's killer. That was an interesting way to set up next season. There was a moment that I thought Audrey's girlfriend was a suspect too because she showed up out of nowhere on the island and acted really defensively when Audrey confronted her about it.
  2. I loved Laurie and Val's salsa. It was my favorite dance of the night. It was great seeing Shawn and Nastia giving her advice on the package, especially Shawn who is my favorite female dancer to ever be on DWTS. I thought it was really cute how Laurie was all embarrassed about moving her hips in front of Val because "he's like a guy," lol. I actually thought that Jana and Gleb's AT was a bit all over the place. In comparing it to Calvin and Lindsay's AT, I liked Calvin and Lindsay's more. Artem just seems so over dealing with Maureen. She seems like she would be difficult to deal with on a daily basis, although she does seem nice otherwise. As good of a dancer as I think James is, I disagree with Julianne's comment that he's the best male dancer to ever be on DWTS. That honor in my opinion goes to Alfonso.
  3. I thought the cold open was great. Alec Baldwin is awesome as Trump and what else can be said of Kate McKinnon as Hillary Clinton? The Jaws theme song was really funny. I've liked Emily Blunt ever since the Devil Wears Prada and I thought she did well, but the sketches themselves were just ok. I love Bruno Mars too! He's such a great performer and I would love for him to come back to SNL and host again. His Pandora sketch will forever be one of my favorites.

    Sully (2016)

I went today to watch this movie and I thought it was excellent. Tom Hanks was great in his portrayal of Sully and I really liked Aaron Eckhart as Jeff. His last line that ended the movie had me cracking up. I thought the airplane scenes were really well done and had me in suspense even without the use of dramatic music. I'm a native New Yorker and I remember this event from when I saw it on the news. I can't even begin to imagine what it must've felt like to go through that experience, especially Sully who had to make the difficult decision to land the plane on the Hudson River in order to save everyone's lives. It could've easily ended in disaster, but thankfully, it didn't. It was really touching to see Sully and the passengers reunited during the credits. Just to see everyone alive and well made me happy.
  5. Not surprised at last night's elimination. It seemed that a lot of people found Jake T. Austin unlikeable and his dancing was subpar. I don't believe for a second that Ryan Lochte was actually in danger of elimination. It was just a way for the show to amp up the drama. After seeing footage of the protesters being replayed for the millionth time, I'm officially bored of it. I thought it was such a missed opportunity to not have just Cherly, Derek, and Maks do an AT trio instead of inviting along three other dancers. It could've been a great dance.
  6. I was sorry to hear about Antwon Jackson's passing as well. It seemed that Wendy had a great relationship with him and she seemed to be very affected as she talked about it. May he Rest In Peace.
  7. As someone who was glued to my screen while watching the show week after week, I am very happy that ACS: The People v. O.J. Simpson got recognized and won big at the Emmys last night. The show managed to keep me captivated until the very end despite me already knowing what the outcome would be. Congratulations to the whole cast especially Sarah Paulson who was my personal favorite on the show with her amazing portrayal of Marcia Clark. It was so cool that she brought her to the Emmys as her +1 and that she got Marcia's name engraved on her Emmy. It seems that they have formed a beautiful friendship.
  8. I applaud Tim Gunn for speaking out about Ashley Tipton's final collection. I imagine that she must not be feeling great after reading his comments, but in my opinion, he's right about what he said. It was a completely undeserved win based solely on the design and execution of the clothes. Her win was more about a plus-size collection winning when it wasn't even well-made or appealing.
  9. Wow, Maria Menounos laugh has always been annoying to me, but I would rather listen to it now than Jenny's laugh. I found myself cringing everytime I heard it this episode. I agree with Erin being the winner, but my favorite was Natalhia's (sp?) silver metallic look. I also liked Tasha's. In terms of the losing look, I agree with Ian going home. He wasn't open to doing anything that was out of his comfort zone and produced a very safe dress. I doubt he would've created something interesting had he stayed longer.
  10. I found last night's show sort of boring. The only real stand out to me was Laurie whose enthusiasm is infectious and who in my opinion, had the best dance of the night by far. Loved her in the Olympics and I hope she wins the mirrorball trophy with Val. Her technique is really good and it seems to me that she has the potential to be even better as the show goes on. James did a good job with his first dance and I hate to say it, but I liked Vanilla Ice's dance despite the fact that it didn't have much cha cha content. I was surprised that Amber Rose danced so safe and timid. However, I don't doubt she'll come out of her shell more as she gets over her nerves. I liked Marilu on Celebrity Apprentice, but she was annoying in the package with her over-the-top praise towards Derek and during the judges scores too. Take it down a notch please!
  11. I may be wrong, but ever since, I've known about this case, I've always been suspicious of Burke. Everyone remembers things differently and can have different emotions when remembering things, but I highly doubt that I would be smiling if I were to recount the day that my little sister went missing and was eventually found murdered, even if I was just nine years old. It seemed very strange to me.
  12. I'm most excited to see Laurie on DWTS this season. She was my favorite gymnast from the Final Five at the Olympics as well and I love her personality. She seems to have natural dance ability so I'm looking forward to seeing her with Val.
  13. Miley's always been annoying to me even from her Hannah Montana days because she is definitely a try hard. I wasn't all that interested in watching this season because of her, but after Sunday's preview, I'll give it a chance solely based on Alicia Keys. Besides being a fan of her music, I really liked Alicia when she helped out Pharrell as a mentor on a past season so I would like to see what she does as a coach. I did a double take when I heard We' speak. Her singing voice is completely different from her speaking voice that it caught me off guard. I see her as a contender with Alicia by her side because her voice is beautiful and powerful.
  14. Simone and Aly's interview with Bob Costas was fun to watch. I find it endearing how despite being Olympic champions, they're just regular girls at the end of the day who get giddy about meeting a celebrity and in Simone's case, her crush. They genuinely seem to like each other and it's nice to see that they haven't let competition get in the way of their friendship. I am interested to see if Aly will be able to come back for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. I especially would like to see Laurie make it because I feel she has unfinished business to take care of with the all-around competition.
  15. I was right on, like most people were on this forum, that Kieran was the killer. It made sense to me that he had a relationship with Piper and that he would avenge her death by making Emma and Audrey's lives hell. Despite it being obvious that Kieran was the killer, I enjoyed this finale especially the big reveal because it had me in suspense. I was still expecting an accomplice to come forward, but from the looks of the last scene, there might still be one. I was glad Brooke didn't die. Poor girl has gone through enough and it was nice to see her survive. Seeing the Emma and Audrey duo working together to trap Kieran was cool too.
  16. Congratulations to Simone and Aly for their respective gold and silver medals on floor today as well as Laurie and Simone for their respective silver and bronze medals on beam yesterday. The Final Five did an amazing job at these Olympics and I hope they all take a well-deserved vacation.
  17. I just finished watching the women's all-around final on demand (yay! No commercials!) and I loved the result. Congratulations to Simone and Aly for finishing 1st and 2nd, respectively. Both girls have worked very hard to get to this point and it's awesome to see that hard work pay off. Both of their parents' reactions to them winning were just adorable to see. I honestly think that 2016 Olympics Aly is a lot better than 2012's. Her floor exercise is even more impressive to me this time around. I never thought she'd come back to the Olympics and I'm so happy she proved me wrong. What else can be said of Simone? She withstood the pressure surrounding her of people who expected her to win the all-around and triumphed. I think she has a very strong possibility of winning 3 more gold medals.
  18. I'm sticking with Kieran being the killer with Stavos being the accomplice. Kieran always happens to be there when something goes down and he could've easily planted those letters from Audrey to Piper in Eli's room. He continues to communicate with the police and letting them know where Emma will be and that's probably to frame her and Audrey. It seems to me that Eli is suspicious of Kieran, but because people view him as so shady and as one of the possible killers, he hasn't been able to speak up to Emma or anyone about it. My guess is that Kieran was in a relationship with Piper and that's why he's doing all of this. I think Stavos convinced Noah to not shut down The Morgue in order to upload that video of Emma and Audrey. Brooke has been unharmed so far and that's probably due to her relationship with Stavos. It seems to me that he got Jake, Mr. Branson, and her dad out of the way to have her to himself. I still don't like Ms. Lang. It seems like she's too intent to make Emma seem guilty.
  19. I think everyone expected the U.S. to win and dominate the competition, but I'll admit that I teared up when the "Final Five" won gold. I really love this team and it was nice to see them triumph in the Olympics especially Gabby and Aly who came back for the second time. I can't wait to see the individual events and I hope that each one of them is able to win a medal.
  20. Just as I predicted last week, I wasn't surprised that Johnny didn't split the money with Sarah. I said I wouldn't feel bad for her if he did that because she was kissing up to him the whole time this season, but I did end up feeling bad for her. On Exes 2, she pulled a power move and threw him into an elimination, but he had the chance to come back and win that money that he still cries about to this day. They were not on the same team like on this season where they were partners and depended on each other to win so what he did to her in my opinion, was way worse than what she did to him. Not only did his decision come from a desire to get back at her, but also from the fact that it's just his nature to screw over anyone for his own benefit as seen on previous Challenges. That being said, congratulations Johnny for having the honor of pulling the dirtiest move in all of Challenge history! Anyone who trusts him on any future Challenges is just a plain dummy. So I'm assuming Nate and Nicole will be partnered up on the next season of Exes? I didn't care too much for Devin and Cheyenne when they got eliminated and came back, but those two really grew on me. I was rooting for them to finish and I'm glad they did.
  21. As a Harry Potter fan, I would like to read "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child," but a huge part of me just wants to leave everything the way it ended in the Epilogue 19 years later with Harry finally living in peace with a family of his own and without having to worry about Voldemort all the time. To be honest, I haven't even really paid attention to the info posted on Pottermore. However, the plot does seem interesting based on what the above posters have said so maybe I'll give it a shot.

    Gymnastics

If it's true that Laurie wasn't chosen to compete in the all-around, I would be disappointed for her. She's proven herself worthy of competing for that medal along with Simone and Aly.
  23. This episode has been by far my favorite this season. I really enjoyed watching it as it was full of suspense, revelations, and more action than the previous episodes. The killer is just ruthless. He had everyone convinced that Zoe was still alive so their efforts at the end were in vain. At least Noah got saved who I was afraid would die like Randy in Scream 2. That would've soured the show for me because I really like that character. I'm going to stick with Kieran being the killer even though Eli is being made out to seem creepy and suspicious. Stavo is a close second , most likely the accomplice.
  24. I wouldn't be surprised if Johnny kept all of the money because he might say he's forgiven Sarah, but he absolutely loves to hold grudges and what better way to get back at her than to keep the money. I don't like this twist because it doesn't seem fair to me, but I wouldn't feel too bad for Sarah if Johnny kept the money solely based on what a kiss up she's been to him. i liked that Devin told everybody off and rightfully so. I usually like Jenna, but she was two-faced this episode, on one side, disapproving of Vince's bullying of Cheyenne and then on the other, denying she ever said anything about it later on to save face in front of Vince and Johnny.
  25. Not going to say that I'm happy they killed off that girl Haley, but man, she was so annoying and quite the instigator. In the hospital scene with Ms. Lang, I thought she might've been scared of Kieran and not Emma, just that the show made it seem that way. Then again, I don't know why she sounded afraid of Emma and mentioned her violent tendencies on those tapes. If she was a friend of Piper's, it might've been a way to make Emma sound crazy or something like that.
