Hearing Zach speak is just mesmerizing and not in a good way. He's such a pig and I really wish Jenna would look elsewhere. She could do so much better! Aww, I loved the Darrell and Shane reunion. I've always been a Road Rules fan and their season was one of my favorites along with Semester at Sea. I think the challenge was unfair from the beginning because the champs were outnumbered by two people on each side. Unless the underdogs absolutely sucked, they definitely had the upper hand. The whole Corey and Kailah thing was so dramatic. Of course, he was going to dump her the first chance he got. What she did was embarrassing, but if he really cared about being with her, he would've let it slide.

Law's reaction to Cody's shoes was hilarious! They truly were hideous. Speaking of Cody, I think that it was her time to go. I guess she can be proud of the fact that she outlasted her sister since she was so preoccupied with people viewing her as better than Tash. Despite the fact that they say they love each other, it's obvious they need to talk some things out. I love India so I hope she wins. I think it'll be her and Courtney in the top two, hopefully. Courtney really grew on me last week with the whole Harry Potter fan-out at Universal Studios. That was me when I went there lol. I don't really get the judges' love for Coryanne. I personally think she's been photographing a bit old lately, but that may be due to the hair and makeup. In regards to Tatiana, I think she's beautiful, but I haven't seen any growth.

Lol, I should've said only. I don't remember Ashley, Zac is awful, and don't get me started on Johnny! By the way, this is off topic, but I love your avatar pic. I'm a fan of Archie comics especially Betty and Veronica. :)

Of course they left the champs until the last minute! That's all I've been waiting for since this season started. I'm happy to see Cara Maria, Laurel, Darrell, and CT the most. It's cool to see Cara Maria and Darrell together again on the same season considering they didn't make it past the first week on Fresh Meat II, thanks to Wes throwing them into elimination. They could've possibly won that season. That was very attention seeking of Cory and Kailah making out in front of the camera like that lol. Those stairs in the elimination challenge were definitely no joke! I would've been scared to fall down the stairs once it started raining.

I live in New York too, AllisonWonderland, and I didn't have that problem. I'm sorry that you did though. I think it was clear that Corey and Jenna would be coming back, but had it not been for those two seconds, Jenna would've been eliminated by Anika. That definitely would've shook things up in the house. I laugh every time TJ gets pissed at someone for giving up. It's very easy for him to call someone a quitter when he doesn't have to actually do any of the challenges. I can't wait for next week for the champs to come in, even if that means seeing Johnny again. I think the show will get better and will be more entertaining.

The Wendy Williams Show - General Discussion
Steph619 replied to David T. Cole's topic in The Wendy Williams Show
Thank you for the explanation! I remember the comments she made and the ensuing backlash. It doesn't seem very reasonable for her to blame her staff especially Jason since she's the one that made the comments. No wonder Norman seems more afraid than usual to disagree with Wendy or correct her. -

Do you know why he got fired? I know it's been some time since he's been gone. -
S15.E07: I Have No Time For Anyone's Ego Except My Own

Aww, I wanted Boy George to win, but Matt deserved it too so I'm not mad about the result. Boy George won me over like Lil Jon did in that I knew who they were, but didn't know what to expect of them on the show and ended up loving them both. I missed Boy George at the end sipping champagne with the rest of the contestants. I wonder why he wasn't there. Overall, I thought this was a good season and Arnold was entertaining enough. I didn't miss Trump at all. -
The Annual Grammy Awards - General Discussion

Of course, Taylor Swift will always be the first to accomplish that. I'm not taking that away from her. I was simply just stating that Adele now has the same honor of being a female artist who's won album of the year twice as well. I forgot to mention in my previous post that I loved seeing Daft Punk too! Granted they just stood there for the most part and looked cool, but still. I appreciate any Daft Punk sightings lol. -

I absolutely love Adele so I'm very happy that she won in every category she was nominated for. 25 was a great album and I think it deserved all of the accolades. Adele's acceptance speech for AOTY was such a departure from last year since Taylor Swiff just had to let everyone know that she was the first woman to ever win AOTY twice. Well, Adele has that same honor now too and she accepted it with such humility while acknowledging Beyoncé. Bruno Mars is just awesome. That guy continues to surprise me with his talent every time I see him perform. I enjoyed the Bee Gees tribute, but I wish someone had come out and sing "More Than a Woman." That's my favorite song of theirs. -

I like Beyoncé, but love Adele so I'm definitely rooting for her to win in every category she's nominated for especially Album of the Year. I thought 25 was a wonderful album, but I wouldn't be surprised if Lemonade came in and won instead. -
I thought the same thing! It would've been really cool. I obviously hate Voldemort in the Harry Potter series, but I loved seeing him in the Lego Batman movie as one of the iconic bad guys. I actually enjoyed this movie more than the Lego Movie. The biggest reason why I liked the Lego Movie in the first place was because of Batman so it's great that he got his own movie. I like this portrayal of Batman as this egotistical superhero who seems so self-assured, but whose biggest enemy is actually himself because of his inability to confront his emotions and open up to people. The quote "sometimes, losing people is a part of life – but that doesn’t mean you stop letting them in" really touched me. That may go over the heads of kids who may not understand, but I think a lot of people can relate to that.

I completely agree. I think it's unfair that Paige was eliminated and it was really strange to me that all of a sudden the judges had a problem with her photos when there was no mention of that before. I think Coryanne should've gone home instead and Tatiana definitely could've been eliminated too based on that weak photo. At least I still have India to root for. She looked adorable as Katy Perry. Her eyes are her best feature in my opinion.

S29.E01: Gimme Shelter / S29.E02: Skeletal Fracture
Steph619 replied to OnceSane's topic in The Challenge
Man, Johnny Bananas is a douche. He just had to rub it in how he spent the money that had it not been for Sarah, he wouldn't even have. Enjoy your house, I guess. It was nice seeing Shane again. I felt bad for him when he was talking about his heartbreak story. He seems genuinely nice. Kailah hasn't annoyed me just yet. She obviously talks too much and rubs people the wrong way, but she does seem like she'll be a strong competitor. However, I don't think she'll be able to beat the likes of Cara Maria or Laurel once they come into the picture. I found it funny how everyone came in being all nice to each other and then, just started turning on each other. -
I'm happy with this final two. I probably would've been happier had it been Carson and Boy George, but I also really like Matt. At least Carson is there to help Boy George in the final task and he's probably the best asset to have because of how well they get along and how they're both creative. I hope Boy George wanting to get rid of the keyboard player doesn't come off as him being a diva. That guy was out of line for suggesting to change the song instead of just playing it like Boy George intended. Ultimately, I really like both finalists, but I hope Boy George takes the win!

Cherish is really delusional, but it's actually pretty funny. I cracked up when Law said she looked like a "drunk auntie with a cigarette." I didn't really have a favorite to come back, but I suppose it was fair that Tash came back because she did the best. I wasn't a fan of Marissa's so not sad to see her go. My favorites at this point are Paige and India. They're great models and they seem really nice too.
-
That Clippers song was so catchy! I love how creative Boy George is. On a shallow note, his purple eyeshadow looked great. Aww, I'll miss Carson. I agree that he should've been fired because he made the wrong call in not putting Lisa out there to demonstrate the product, but I still wish he had made it to the final two along with my other fave, Boy George. I don't know what it is about Brooke that makes me not like her. I've felt this way about her since she was the co-host of DWTS. She seems nice, but just something about her bugs me. Kudos to her winning the task though because fitness is her strength and she did a great job demonstrating the product, but I think Laila was the one that ultimately helped spike the sales.

I think it would've been cool to just have an underdogs season and see who wins from there, but that would've included more newbies that I honestly wouldn't have cared about. I'm excited to see CT, Cara Maria, and Laurel competing again and Shane as well as Darrell from Road Rules! I haven't seen them in the longest time so I'm interested to see how they do especially Shane who's been out of the Challenge loop longer. On the other hand, seeing Johnny Bananas in the trailer had me going "You again?!" I know he's there because he has the most Challenge wins so he's like the champion of champions, but after that debacle from last season with Sarah, he clearly has no shame or regret about that situation.

Aww, I actually loved Mercedes. She was definitely a better model than Marissa and had a much better attitude.
-
The problem with Marissa is that she's a very immature person with a big mouth. Everything that Stacy was telling her went in one ear and out the other. I'm pretty sure that what the judges told her also had the same effect. She wasn't crying backstage because she felt bad about her attitude, but rather, because she knew she was on the chopping block. I don't think it's a big surprise that Kyle went home. She lost steam as the completion went on and didn't seem to be improving much. From the videos, my favorite was Paige. I think she should've been called first over India, but good for India because she did improve from last week.

S15.E05: Scissors and Some Creativity
Steph619 replied to MarkHB's topic in The Celebrity Apprentice [V]
The award for biggest delusional idiot ever on Celebrity Apprentice goes to Chael. Dude, no matter how you word it, you cheated! Ugh, he just reminds me of that one person in my group projects throughout high school and college that would sit there, do nothing, and wing it during the presentation. Good riddance! As a Harry Potter fan, I absolutely loved Matt's enthusiasm for the Universal Studios task and for Harry Potter overall. I went to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Orlando and it was such a dream come true for me. It was really smart of him to make the digital brochure look like the Daily Prophet and his presentation was great. I was happy that he ended up getting the win for his team. He completely deserved it. I'm happy that Carson didn't get fired because he's one of my favorites, although, I do feel that had Boy George been there, he probably would've been the project manager and done a better job.- 93 replies

Please don't judge me, but I have to admit that I spent my Saturday afternoon and evening watching all six episodes of this series. I actually thought it was interesting especially because of the interviews that they had with Detective Vannater, Tanya Brown, Fred Goldman, and Kato Kaelin. From the beginning, I thought that the "Jason Simpson theory did it" theory was ridiculous. The guy had serious internal issues growing up that made him lash out on other people, but based on the relationship he had with his father or lack thereof, I think he would've killed OJ first before ever laying a hand on Nicole, let alone be his accomplice in the murders. I don't think OJ would've ever gone to the lengths of covering up for his son and going through trial because it's obvious he didn't care about him. In the end, this show didn't really uncover anything new for me so I still believe that OJ did commit the murders and he acted alone.

No offense to Rita Ora, but why is she even the host of ANTM when Ashley Graham is there? I feel like Ashley has interacted with the girls in the house and on photo shoots more than Rita ever has. She reminds me a lot of what Tyra used to do when she hosted. Ashley also has a lot more credibility to me as she is an actual model. I thought Paige's photo on the trampoline was awesome while Kyle's was just terrible. That face! Speaking of Kyle, it was so cringe-worthy the way she was coming on to Marissa and how fixated she was on her. She also doesn't seem to be improving modeling-wise so I think she's next to be eliminated.
