  1. 1. You can watch it on FX's website--or a website connected to it--but I think you have to have an app for that. 2. You can also get (buy) the ep from iTunes as soon as Thursday & watch it that way--but you have to have/download iTunes to watch it. 3. And, FX should be airing Pastor Tim again next Wednesday night/early Thursday morning; their usual pattern is to air the new ep twice in a row, followed by a repeat of the previous week's ep, followed by another airing of the new ep. So, this week they should be airing Pastor Tim twice in a row, starting at 10PM Eastern/9PM Central, followed by Glanders & another showing of Pastor Tim.
  2. I didn't notice the changes in that song, but they also used We Don't Need Another Hero (Thunderdome), Tina Turner's song from Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome, in the show & they changed 1 line of the chorus in that song: the line that originally was "All we want is life beyond the thunderdome", to at least remove the "thunderdome" reference since that wouldn't have worked here. So it appears, when necessary/when they felt it was appropriate, they took artistic license & changed lyrics here & there to make the song fit the theme better.
  3. They recorded a CD of the music from the show, it was released this past Friday, so that's entirely possible for you to do (buy the songs you mentioned). I'm pretty sure the music's also available at iTunes; not so sure about Amazon's MP3 Store.
  4. Rob Lowe's been around, in various TV shows & TV movies, theatrical movies, & stage plays (at least on London's West End; I don't think he's done Broadway yet), since the mid-1970's, when he was a teenager. I'm surprised he never crossed your radar until YMATA. Especially since he's done notable projects, besides The West Wing, such as the movie version of S.E. Hinton's Young Adult novel (& staple of Middle School/High School English classes in many places, if not all over), The Outsiders, among others. He's also the author of 2 The New York Times Bestsellers-Listed Autobiographies/Memoirs, Stories I Only Tell My Friends & Love Life. I'm sorry you found The West Wing "a bit tedious and heavy". Maybe it was the political setting that did that for you though. It really is considered a television classic by many, & well worth watching. It lasted 7 seasons, but Rob was only on through the end of the 4th as a regular. His character (Deputy Communications Director Sam Seaborn) was, however, referred to a few times in the remaining 3 seasons, & he did return as the character for 2 guest appearances in the last few episodes of the series. His younger brother is actor/director Chad Lowe. His former sister-in-law is 2-time Oscar winner Hilary Swank. Here's a link to his Wikipedia page: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rob_Lowe If you go through his Filmography, you might recognize some of his other works.
  5. The New York Times interviews Keri about S4 (& her pregnancy). Http://tinyurl.com/zgokbrp I tinyURL'd it because the real URL is HUGE. Yes, the tiny version works; I checked it. It's perhaps indirectly spoilery about a certain character's status as of the end of S4 in 1 of the paragraphs. So read at your own risk. It also said Keri & Matthew are actually living together now (which has never been stated in other mentions of their offscreen relationship; I'm not a prude, or whatever, but it's kinda nice to know that considering they're going to be parents next month, according to the interview).
  6. The Colts are retiring Peyton Manning's number & building a statue honoring him outside of Lucas Oil Stadium (I guess like when the Chicago Bulls built a statue honoring Michael Jordan outside the United Center). And Peyton wants to have a 10th anniversary reunion of the 2006 Indianapolis Colts team, with which he won his 1st Super Bowl; it sounds like the Colts might help him make that happen. http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/15006080/indianapolis-colts-honor-peyton-manning-retiring-jersey-building-statue
  7. Have you seen him in anything earlier than Parks and Recreation? Just curious.
  8. I think I read, in other articles about it linked on Josh Malina's Twitter page (he & the other guy have been doing a lot--I guess--of publicity for it recently, like with NPR the other day), you can also find the TWW podcast through other sites, or whatever, that hook you up with podcasts, besides iTunes & the RSS Feed which were linked in the article; but I'm not sure it's on, or going to be on, Google Play for you non-Apple users. Josh's podcast is called The West Wing Weekly (there's apparently at least 1 more TWW podcast out there, done by a fan). On his Twitter page Josh recommends that if you're rewatching the eps in conjunction with listening to the podcasts, you watch the ep before listening to the accompanying podcast. So does Josh's co-host (I hope he learns/remembers that the ep he's been calling Galileo V in interviews was actually called Galileo before they get to that podcast). As the article says, there's a brief preview episode, Cold Open, out now. Josh has Tweeted that the first ep-related podcast (presumably for the Pilot) is supposed to come out March 23rd (this Wednesday), with subsequent podcasts to be released each Wednesday thereafter, until they reach Tomorrow. Not for nothing, but it seems recapping eps of (most of) his TV series is becoming a "thing" for Josh. Apparently he & Scott Foley also do a blog about their current show, Scandal. Someone suggested on Josh's Twitter that he also do a podcast, or something, for Sports Night; I'm not sure he has plans for that at the moment.
  9. You could also mention his book (autobiography/ biography?)/movie, Private Parts. And that he was recently a judge on America's Got Talent & he had a reality show on E! years ago.
  10. It appears it's 2 hours in the same way it was 2 hours last season: 2 separate episodes airing back-to-back (Friday, April 13th, 9-11PM Eastern/8-10PM Central), not a single episode airing for 2 hours.
  11. As others upthread have said, Philip & Martha's wedding wasn't legal because it was under false pretenses & because Philip was using a fake name when he entered into it. It also wasn't a legal marriage because the license & other legal paperwork was never filed with the local government. After the ceremony, Martha had the paperwork & said something to Philip/Clark about her or someone in her family filing it. Philip somehow managed to get it away from her & said for her not to worry & he would file it, & he stuck it in his inside jacket pocket & never actually filed it/never mailed it in (presumably he disposed of it somewhere so Martha wouldn't find it still in his jacket when they were together & have another opportunity to file it herself). This was all back in S2. Also, Elizabeth & Claudia posed at the wedding as Clark's sister, Jennifer, & his mother, respectively.
  12. There is an Ensemble Acting Award, at the SAG Awards. It's in lieu/the equivalent of "Best Picture" at the Oscars & the Best Show in 1 or more genres at the Emmys. The SAG Awards honor the casts of the programs instead of the programs themselves. So, if there's a Mini/Limited Series category, the show's cast could/should be up.
  13. Harrison Ford & Steven Spielberg are reuniting to do a fifth Indiana Jones movie. It's due out in July, 2019--by which point Harrison Ford will apparently be 77 years old. http://variety.com/2016/film/news/indiana-jones-steven-spielberg-harrison-ford-reuniting-1201730532/
  14. Burden, from S8 (about the dead quadriplegic kid), is on WE right now. That kid actress who played the dead kid's sister really isn't that good of an actress; especially not in the scene with Rey & Lennie after her mom has thrown suspicion her way for her brother's death.
  15. I love the Chick-Fil-A cows too! They're definitely on TV, but they're kinda hard to find unless you watch the Saturday SEC Football Game of the Week on CBS during College Football season, where Chick-Fil-A's a main sponsor of the game; or the Chick-Fil-A Kickoff Game, held in Atlanta on the opening weekend of the College Football Season (this year it's on September 3rd), or the Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl at the end of the College Football season. The latter 2 also normally have tons of cow commercials since they're title sponsors of those games. They might also be aired during other random NCAA Football games, but the above are your best shot at seeing the cows commercials. Sometimes, but I don't think very often, they'll also randomly show up during Primetime programming.
  16. I saw part of it Sunday (have been dealing with a longterm illness & fell asleep in the middle, sadly). The kids I saw didn't seem too precocious. Steve was on Ellen's show today & mentioned 1, a 4-year-old piano player who, when finished, was surprised by the ovation he got as he didn't think he did anything special. And, I forgot, Steve's also a producer on the show with Ellen. It's supposed to be on again this coming Sunday (which is also Palm Sunday); if you're around you might try a few minutes. If you still think the kids are too precocious/just out to get a SAG-AFTRA card, no harm, no foul.
  17. NBC has ordered a Pilot for a reboot of Xena: Warrior Princess & the producers are promising that, this time, it won't just be subtext that Xena & her sidekick, Gabrielle, are/have been in a relationship. http://www.usatoday.com/story/life/entertainthis/2016/03/15/xena-reboot-writer-confirms-xena-and-gabrielle-lovers/81801720/
  18. Have you tried the new NBC show Little Big Shots? It's a kids' talent show hosted by Family Feud's Steve Harvey & produced by Ellen Degeneres. It's only aired twice--last week after 1 episode of The Voice & then this past Sunday night in its regular timeslot, 8PM Eastern/7PM Central, but it got amazing ratings in both slots & got a renewal for S2 yesterday. It might be up your alley for gentler fare.
  19. Wagon Train actor Robert Horton dies at age 91. http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/robert-horton-dead-wagon-train-875788
  20. For Terry Bradshaw, you could also say he was a Pittsburgh Steeler; he's been married a lot, including to a professional/(I think) Olympic figure skater, Jo Jo Starbuck; & he does the commercials where he goes up to different people & tells them if they've ever had the chicken pox, they should get the shingles vaccine (because 1 in 3 people who've had the chicken pox will eventually get shingles because that virus stays behind in your body after you're over the chicken pox).
  21. Yes, they could. I mean, when Valerie Harper left that NBC family sitcom she starred in years ago, they changed the show's title twice after the original & kept her first name--which was also her character's first name--in the title until the show's third overall title, of 3 total titles: Valerie (the original title); Valerie's Family (the first title after Harper left/her character was killed off) &, finally, The Hogan Family (this was the title until the show was cancelled; Sandy Duncan was brought in to play the family father's sister/the kids' aunt & maternal figure, & the title then included the family's surname).
  22. This doesn't really have anything to do with the murder trial, & I apologize for that (though it at least indirectly connects to the civil trial), but I saw a story about a new OJ-related book on GMA today & I wanted to mention it. The book's called Guarding the Juice, written by Jeffrey Felix. He's a now-retired Nevada Department of Corrections Officer at Lovelock Prison, where OJ's been incarcerated since his conviction for taking back his sports trophies & other personal property that was about to be sold to help settle the civil judgment due to the Brown & Goldman families. The author says he spent the last years of his 20-plus-year career with the Nevada Department of Corrections guarding OJ & he talks about what that was like & what OJ's life in prison is like--claiming, among other things, that he & OJ became BFF's, as it were, during that period. The website for the book isn't that great (I've seen much better), but here's the link. http://guardingthejuice.com/ There's also a Facebook page for the book & the author's on Twitter & there's 1 other social media outlet for either the author or the book. And, according to GMA today, OJ's former manager (or someone else speaking on his behalf) debunked the claims that the author & OJ really were as close as is being stated in the book.
  23. From The Hollywood Reporter: The Americans' Bosses: Season 4 Reaches "the Boiling Point" https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/live-feed/americans-bosses-season-four-reaches-875260?utm_source=twitter This article could be considered slightly spoilery, but it's worth reading. Something notable in this article, the showrunners say FX will NOT be making the decision on when to end the series. FX is leaving that solely up to the showrunners (they say in the above linked article they're looking at 5 or 6 seasons, total, before calling it quits; so it looks like this season & 1-2 more... Unless they feel like they need more time to tell the story they want to tell). Also from The Hollywood Reporter, a review of S4 (only the first 4 eps of S4 were made available to critics). http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/review/americans-season-4-tv-review-875701
