  1. Thomas gives his side of the story regarding what led up to his firing to People magazine. http://www.people.com/article/thomas-gibson-talks-firing-from-cbs-criminal-mind?xid=socialflow_twitter_peoplemag
  2. This has some more info, insofar as what cities/areas the cast will be in & on what day (Saturday or Sunday). Their swing ends on Sunday in Columbus/the Columbus area. http://variety.com/2016/biz/news/west-wing-cast-hillary-clinton-1201867222/
  3. Billy Eichner has been added to the cast as Baltimore newscaster Rob Barker. http://variety.com/2016/tv/news/billy-eichner-hairspray-live-nbc-1201867443/
  4. Mia Farrow's Son, Thaddeus, Dead at 27. http://www.usatoday.com/story/life/people/2016/09/21/mia-farrows-son-thaddeus-farrow-dies-after-car-accident/90812344/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter
  5. I was watching the Law & Order marathon on Ion. In the last few minutes, they aired a commercial saying that Psych will be airing on Ion again as of 1AM Eastern/12 Midnight Central Time on Tuesday, October 4th. So when you go to sleep on Monday, October 3rd, if it's before midnight, remember to set your recorders if you wanna watch as it aired on Ion. They're apparently starting with Ep 701. I don't know if it's airing once a week or more often than that. Hope this helps. https://www.iontelevision.com/show/psych
  6. I think the full podcast with Sorkin was actually put up yesterday, according to this Tweet. https://mobile.twitter.com/WestWingWeekly/status/778340328608636928?p=v
  7. Jack co-starred with Alec in 30 Rock which was on NBC. He played the studio/network page (& I think got an Emmy nomination or 2).
  8. The WE marathon today, Wednesday, September 21st, started at 11:30AM Eastern & runs through 5:30PM Eastern, when they start running the movie Hitch 3 times in a row (uh-huh). WE is running eps with Ben Stone as immediate underling to Adam Schiff. The ION marathon started at 11:00AM Eastern, I think, & runs until 1:00AM Eastern tomorrow (pretty much the usual time). They're running eps with Branch, Jack, & Serena in the DA's office, & Lennie, Van Buren, & I think Ed, in the 27th. At least at the moment.
  9. Hanson was also involved (writer, director, or both) with the film Bad Influence, which brought Rob Lowe back to Hollywood prominence (or at least closer to it than he had been) after his sex scandal at the 1988 Democratic National Convention in Atlanta.
  10. The character name for Jed's lawyer/Leo's girlfriend is Jordon, Jordon Kendall, not Jordan as in your write up. http://westwing.wikia.com/wiki/Joanna_Gleason I know this is true because I've seen it in many official/reasonably official sources attached to the show.
  11. Blame the Presidential Election on the wait, in all likelihood. The first debate between Secretary Clinton & Donald Trump is next Monday night. NBC's Lester Holt's moderating, but I don't remember if the debates at this level are aired on 1 network or all of them. Even if it's only on 1, they're probably holding the new ep so fans won't miss it/it won't get killed in the ratings (just like when other networks proactively show repeats against "big ticket" shows).
  12. Terra danced to the theme from Bewitched, not I Dream of Jeannie. Same TV era though.
  13. For some reason, this season more than most, they're really concerned about timing on the show. Last night they didn't even introduce each couple at the beginning of the show like they've always done (when the couples walk down the stairs & their numbers are shown onscreen as they do); I think they just put the numbers onscreen & introduced the couples when it was their turn to dance.
  14. From TV Guide's website: Lucifer Season 2: Tricia Helfer Talks About Mom's Agenda http://www.tvguide.com/news/lucifer-season-2-tricia-helfer-mom-charlotte/?ftag=TVG_Twitter Like the Tom Ellis interview linked above, this also has spoiler-ish info, but it's not full-on spoilery, I don't think. Read at your own risk, I guess.
  15. I like smooth/creamy peanut butter, preferably Peter Pan brand. I also like cookie butter. If you like it & don't have a Trader Joe's, there's also a brand called Biscoff, which you should be able to find--along with the cookies--at places like Kroger, WalMart, & others. It uses the yummy cookies you get with your drinks on airlines like Delta & it's really the "original" cookie butter; Trader Joe's is really a copy. A good, close copy, but still a copy.
  16. Travolta may have lost for playing Robert Shapiro, but I think he ended up with an Emmy for the show anyway since it won Outstanding Limited Series & he had a Producer's credit on the show.
  17. Yes they were, because they hosted the show together. They also do it with (mostly talk) shows in the Daytime Emmys which have multiple hosts, like: Live with Kelly & Michael (when he was her co-host); The View; The Talk & The Chew. Perfectly acceptable, & probably more fair than singling out 1 host's work over another's/the others' (especially if there might be an issue of behind the scenes rivalry between/among the show's hosts).
  18. Allison's lost before, as far back as when she was nominated for The West Wing--she lost to Mariska Hargitay at least once back then. And she lost last weekend in a Guest Actress category for a part she has in Masters of Sex. But I'm pretty sure this is the first time she's lost for her role in Mom.
  19. And The Hollywood Reporter discusses what they call the "big snubs" from the Emmys last night, as far as shows being unable to convert major nominations into wins. Of course, they include the show among those which didn't do it. http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/emmy-2016-snubs-house-cards-930606?utm_source=twitter There's a pic of Matthew & Keri on the Emmys Red Carpet at this page, which also links you to the above article. https://mobile.twitter.com/THR/status/777813995755626496?p=v
  20. ABC's airing the last ep of the season tonight--September 19th--at 10PM Eastern after Dancing with the Stars.
  21. You're right. I fixed it. Thanks. I heard the title of Danny Thomas' shows in my head, but saw pics of Henry Fonda's TV series--the right show--in my head at the same time. I went with Thomas' show 'cause I thought it sounded correct.
  22. I'm aware Tatiana's not Keri's only competition, at least next season. I was just trying to figure out who we might get rid of in her category in the next 2 seasons, which might give Keri a better chance of winning by/in S6. Of course, as we get rid of competition from the older stuff that's ending & always gets nominated/wins in the Drama category, we'll get new competition from shows yet to start, so the whole thing may be fruitless, unless you're Margo & can keep pulling out Guest Actress in a Drama Series wins for basically cameo appearances in the show. But Keri, Matthew, & the series pulling "Jon Hamm"s at their last eligible Emmys would be cool too.
  23. I'll bet Margo was hoping she could say Joe & Joel's names in the Writing category too. As for the omission of the scenes in the Drama Lead Actress category, they may have had to cut those for time. They ended right about on time, or just barely over, according to the clock on my iPhone, which I'm posting from. It still said 11:00 when my local news started. OK then, Keri apparently has Tatiana as potential competition for S5 (this coming season), then Tatiana's out--unless she gets an eligible role in a new project that's nominated in Drama Lead Actress--for S6, our last season.
  24. Orphan Black has already been canceled; I forgot. But I don't remember if the season Tatiana won for tonight is the last or if they still have 1 to air. That hopefully should clear some competition for Keri at least by S6; especially since Tatiana won tonight, in case she's eligible again next Emmys (& I'm pretty positive Claire Danes has already won for her spy role in Homeland at least once).
