  1. He will be. https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/live-feed/yes-young-sheldon-is-returning-big-little-lies-season-2-1089357
  2. Ryan Gosling, Claire Foy Share First Look at Neil Armstrong Biopic 'First Man' Gosling plays the role of Neil Armstrong with Claire Foy as his first wife, Janet. Sounds like the kind of film I'll enjoy.
  3. I would definitely watch this show! I vote to keep Ella for one reason: I want to know more about the voices in her head. The writers of this Lucifer seem to have backed away from exploring that. Perhaps the Dr. Linda in your show @Mabinogia, could coax them out!
  4. @StatMom and @A.Ham Thanks for sharing your experiences from TWWW's New York show. Sounds like it was great. Looking forward to hearing the podcast! This item isn't directly about a TWW podcast, but Bradley Whitford is this week's guest on the WTF With Marc Maron podcast. http://www.wtfpod.com/podcast/episode-909-bradley-whitford
  5. The town of Ravenel is located about a 30 minute drive southwest of downtown Charleston.
  6. You meant "Special Agent Sunshine," right? ;)
  7. I thoroughly enjoyed the first episode. Echoing the sentiments of others, I couldn't help but compare it to the disaster that was/is Southern Charm Savannah. I watched the entire first (should have been last) season of that disaster and still can't remember some of their names. I think I've got the Southern Charm New Orleans cast members' names down pat already! I loved Barry. I thought Jon came off just a little cocky but he seems to have the talent (and abs!!!) to back it up. I like that we have actual married couples in this show. Loved the dinner party with the live music. I hope they continue to show as much of the city as they did in this episode. It seems to me that the original Southern Charm has backed off on showing a lot of Charleston, which disappoints me. Also loved all the music. I've got to learn how to make a Sazarac. I had several on my first visit to New Orleans last year--there WILL be a second!--and they are delicious. I want one now!
  8. I couldn't believe that the kid in the middle kept going back to the "Saves" category when it was apparent that none of them knew anything about baseball. I really don't think he ever understood the gist of the category! Of course, this baseball fan was glad to have all the clues uncovered so I could run the easy (for me, at least) category. Boy, I hope tonight's contestants are better than last night's bunch!
  9. I realized it wasn't the official announcement, but with three confirmed sources at the network, from Disney and from the production team, it was certainly worth posting.
  10. UPDATE: ‘Agents of SHIELD’ Devil’s Complex earns Marvel’s show Season 6
  11. Thanks! Glad you were able to find and share it. No, that's Jennifer. Evidently she pops up at the party three months in the future that we saw at the beginning of the episode.
  12. Here's the actual link to the Post & Courier article referenced in the episode: Recently-evicted Gentry Bar & Room sued for $163,000 in unpaid rent I wouldn't miss next week's episode for anything! Here's why. I didn't catch last night's episode live and decided to watch the re-broadcast at 11:30 EDT. I had the television on in another room and walked through a few minutes before the show was scheduled to begin and caught a quick glimpse of a clip from next week's SC episode that Andy Cohen was running on Watch What Happens Live. While I didn't see the entire clip, let me just say that the ladies were going to town on JD at Shep's party! I think the one thing that actually may be genuine about this show is how much everyone loves Elizabeth. I was just looking to see if the clip had surfaced online but I couldn't find anything yet.
  13. Interview with Whitney. https://www.urbandaddy.com/articles/42081/southern-charms-whitney-sudler-smith-on-the-origins-of-the-show-and-sheps-romantic-prospects
  14. I'm a few days late to the party with this comment but I'm thinking that I can't be the only person whose mind went here. Earlier in the week there was a dictionary category of some sort. I can't remember the title. (J! Archive doesn't have the categories listed for any of the shows broadcast from 3/28-4/2. The horror!) The clue definition was looking for the response of "dwindle" which followed "dwell" in the dictionary. This was an instaget for me thanks to my nerd-like love for The West Wing. For non Wing-nuts, you can see what I mean in this clip. I think I have it set to start at the appropriate time. If not, it's 1:44.
  15. If I may add one additional item to the Kansas/Kansas State, Iowa/Iowa State discussion; there truly was no ambiguity. The University of Kansas clue specified Lawrence. Kansas State is located in Manhattan, KS. The Iowa State clue specified Ames. The University of Iowa is located in Iowa City, IA.
  16. I got the Amazing Randi right away. I have to admit I was surprised he's still alive. I'm a baby boomer and remember watching him on Wonderama when I was a kid; and I'm talking about the Sonny Fox hosted years! I had to look him up to check. He turns 90 this coming August.
  17. I have no issue with Colin Firth winning the Oscar for Best Actor but The Social Network was, by far the better film and should have won Best Picture.
  18. Mountain Dew was an interesting response in the "Cola" category. As a woman who's a lifelong, rabid baseball fan, I was delighted to see the two female contestants run the baseball category. Those were all easy questions though for anyone with a basic knowledge of MLB's teams. I'm so glad that baseball's back. Play ball!
  19. Reading and thoroughly enjoying this amazing piece of NASA news, my mind went directly to Galileo and "Talk to us." There really is a reference from The West Wing for just about everything, isn't there? NASA receives response from Voyager 1 spacecraft 13 billion miles away after 37 years of inactivity
  20. Sheldon did geek out over seeing Steve Wozniak at the Cheesecake Factory so there's already some precedent.
  21. Now THAT would have made for a great plot line. Can you imagine Sheldon's reaction had he lost the science fair to Georgie?
  22. It just occurred to me that we didn't see Marina23 in this episode. We know from Josh that she went through also. Where is she and what's she up to? I wonder if we'll see her in the season finale or not until S4. I truly hope we will get some inkling as to what's up with "our" Penny in the finale. What happened after he chowed down on that cupcake?
  23. Eric Trump mocked for sharing Jeopardy! clue about himself and Jared Kushner Examples of Twitter responses can be found at the link. Dimitri, who answered the clue correctly, had his own response to Trump's tweet. Wow.
  24. If I may add one more comment about Tuesday's FJ: First, I would have bet the house when I saw the category. Then hearing the clue, I thought "Uh-oh." I never did come up with specific song titles but the part of the clue that indicated two #1 singles in such a short period of time narrowed the field for me to The Beatles and The Supremes. All the songs that were big hits for The Supremes were about love in some way shape or form at least until 1968 (e.g. "Love Child", "I'm Living in Shame") so I ruled them out and said The Beatles. If I'd had to have named the songs, I'd have been out of luck. I got Wednesday's FJ, although I had no idea that The Bodyguard made it to Broadway.
