  4. (For the eliminated episodes, how about "They went on a hunting trip. And they haven't been home in a few days." ;-) ) -- Bottom 3 21 - Faith 21 - Phantom Traveler 19 - Something Wicked 19 - Devil's Trap 19 - The Benders 17 - Skin 17 - Scarecrow 17 - Dead in the Water 17 - Pilot 15 - Bloody Mary 15 - Hook Man 15 - Asylum 15 - Shadow 15 - Hell House 15 - Provenance 15 - Dead Man's Blood 15 - Salvation 13 - Route 666 13 - Wendigo 11 - Nightmare 09 - Bloody Mary 09 - Home 07 - Bugs
  5. Isn't this just the survival game? So it could take months to determine the "best" of season 1?
  6. You know what would make a good story? If the BMoL were after witches, as well as monsters. Which means Rowena. I'd love if they had a huge, convoluted backstory. Do Sam and Dean help their (occasional) ally? Or is she still an enemy? And the show could finally address the difference between magic user and witch. It would crack me up if Rowena called Dean a witch. Okie dokie, back to your regularly scheduled programming.
  7. Can someone please explain this to me because it makes no sense at all. In Inhumans vs X-Men #6, Medusa says: Unless I am remembering incorrectly, Medusa okayed/ordered the death of Cyclops because he destroyed one of the clouds. Even though that's not what really happened, Cyclops is still dead. Am I just supposed to forget all the mutants who died? Are we supposed to cheer on Medusa and castigate Emma? Does Marvel think we're all so stupid? (That might be a rhetorical question, I haven't decided yet.) For all the talk of both sides having a point, they made it pretty damn clear that the Inhumans were the heroes there at the end, while the X-Men were irrationally attacking them. Like I said, I'm biased because I love the X-men, but I don't see how anyone, even the staunchest Inhumans fan, can say that this was a well-written story.
  8. It's been almost 3 years since I had to stay in a hotel with family. I'll keep that in mind in the future. :-) No, but the crash woke us up around 4 am. When we went into the living room, the cabinet was on the floor about 6 feet away from the wall.
  9. My husband does this, but with Candy Crush. He'll play for 20-30 minutes, because it's so mind-numbingly repetitive. Probably not the kind of endorsement the company would want. I can't sleep without a tv on. It's too quiet and too dark otherwise. It also helps to shut my brain up because I focus on what's happening in the episode of the tv show that's on (we're on season 7 of South Park right now). We put the disc in, hit the repeat button, and go to sleep. I know it's a terrible waste of energy, but I'll lay there for hours otherwise, trying to get my brain to shut up. On the rare occasion that I'm not at home (staying a hotel with friends or family, for example), I wind up (mentally) saying "Shhhhhh" over and over again. Literally telling my brain to be quiet. It's the only thing that works for me. Now, ghosts. We had a ghost in our home in Germany. I never saw it, but my husband did. It frequently knocked things over, but we didn't mind that. It wasn't until the night it threw a small display cabinet of glasses across the room that we finally paid attention to it. The next night, my husband woke up and had a chat with the ghost. He was an older man whose family portrait had hung where we put the cabinet. He asked that we not put anything else on that spot on the wall. My husband agreed and we never heard from the ghost again.
  10. When I was a toddler (probably around 3, but I can't be sure), I burned down my (step) grandfather's house. Well, not burned it down, but did some serious damage. My father and grandfather were on a hunting trip. My mom was working as an interior designer. My aunt and (step -- long story) grandmother were watching me and my sister. I got bored and wandered off to one of the bedrooms. The house was so old that it had gas-fired heaters in each room, with the blue flames. Which I found immensely interesting. So I went into the kitchen, climbed onto the counter, and got a package of birthday cake candles. Everyone knows where the story goes from here, right? I woke up in the ambulance without a scratch or burn on me, with an oxygen mask on my face. My mother looked at me and said, "I thought I told you to put your clothes on!" Years later, I found out that my aunt (who was taking a bath) heard me screaming and ran to the room. Apparently, the room (rugs, curtains, bed) was on fire around me. The fire department never suspected me, for some bizarre reason. Probably because I was so young.
  11. While not technically discontinued, Bath and Body Works changed the formulation of their Sleep (lavender and vanilla) products. I used to bathe in them, spray it on my pillow, use it for air freshener, everything I could. It never made me sleep, but it did work for me as aromatherapy. It literally made me feel happy when I smelled it. But a few years back, they changed it so it smells less sweet and more floral. Now I can't stand it. :-(
  12. Tim Omundson just liked my tweet about gobbledegook! Woo hoo! It's gonna be a good day. ;-)
  13. I don't know how many times I've posted this, but I still absolutely adore it. It's part of a series of ads called "Dear Kitten". They're all cute, but this is the best, IMO.
  14. I'm giving up Supernatural for Lent. ;-)
  15. Not necessarily. For example, "That's my favorite car, but not my only favorite car." could mean that's currently my favorite car, but I've had others in the past and I will have others in the future. So, any offspring of Sam and Dean could also be "true" vessels of Lucifer and Michael, theoretically.
  16. Shouldn't that be Icelandic? Thank you, thank you, I'll be here all week, try the veal. ;-)
  17. Is it possible that Mary is running a long con? She knows what the BMoL (at least one of them) did to Sam, that another beat the crap out of Dean and Cas, that they sent her into a mission without all the details -- does she seem like the kind of mom that watches her kids in pain and danger and just says, "Yep, okay, here you go." Doesn't make sense. Maybe all of this is to get close enough to the inside to take the suckers out. *shrug*
  18. Then you know what would happen? "One of us, one of us, one of us, one of us...."
