A double-cross would imply that the BMoL sent her there for one purpose, but was using her for another purpose that they didn't tell her about. It would appear that they wanted her to get the Colt, which she did, but was unaware of the Prince? Or were they trying to activate the Princes for some unknown reason and used the Colt as a means to that end? If so, definite writing fail. And to whom was everything revealed? Certainly not any of the characters. Based on the producer's preview (or whatever they're calling it these days), I wonder if this was the original idea for the episode, but then they shifted from a one-off MotW-style episode to a myth-arc story.....

Hey, I'm just going by what they said in tonight's episode -- that Michael was going to use the spear on Lucifer because it would kill him slowly and painfully. How Crowley got it, who knows?

According to this episode, he was going to use the spear, not a sword. I don't remember Michael ever talking about using a sword to kill Lucifer. Which episode was that? Besides, Demon Bobby was mistaken -- he believed that the sword they were looking for was an actual, physical sword. Perhaps that was another story they heard in "demon Sunday school". ;-) PLEASE LET THIS HAPPEN. COME ON!!! MAKE IT SO! If it's just a matter of Dean killing Lucifer with Michael's spear, fine. But if he finally becomes Michael's vessel -- please, Chuck, no. I never want to see Dean as anyone but Dean ever again.

Could have done without Lucifer there at the end, but all in all, not bad. One of the better efforts this season. When do the others show up? Yeah, Michael's sword was just the euphemism for Michael's vessel.

Sorry, I misunderstood you initially. So, 12 jokes over 12 seasons? Even if it were one joke an episode, it still wouldn't be a big deal to me. I've had lots and lots of guy friends over the years and this is just how they talk to each other. It doesn't mean they're not friends or don't love each other (in the case of brothers), it's that they love to rib each other. Get my husband with his two best friends and some beers and all I'll hear all day is insults. They think it's hilarious. But it's never mean spirited. I don't think any of the jokes on the show have been mean spirited, either.

As I pointed out at the time the episode aired, having a dad bod was considered sexy. No, really. Do a Google search for "dad bod sexy". It's the equivalent of liking "curvy" girls. So, it's entirely possible that the woman rejected him because he didn't have one. Or the writers completely misunderstood the concept.
