Why? Why the hell would Dean want to one-up Cas as he's laying there dying? If someone I love is dying, I am not going to spend time telling them how I had it so much worse. Do you have any idea how insensitive that sounds? And how much Dean would look like a dick if he said anything of the kind? Except they didn't. A very effective way to rewrite the past. God's the one who told them that the "Darkness" could be cancelled out by light, which is how they came up with the idea of the soul bomb. God transported Dean to Amara's location. If you don't want to acknowledge God's contribution, at least don't make up random shit in its stead.

Oh, I agree with him wholeheartedly. In any case, where I get really confused is Uncanny Inhumans #19. (Just in case.) And, frankly, if something sacred to me is killing people, it'd lose that status pretty damn quick. That's what's confusing me about this whole story. I keep hearing about how the Terrigen mist can't be destroyed because it'll destroy the Inhuman culture. But it's killing mutants -- and making sure than any future mutants who are born will die a slow painful death from the Terrigen that is about to saturate the entire Earth's atmosphere. For the record, I am biased. As evidence, here's my Rogue/Gambit tattoo.
