  1. Call me Pollyanna but I keep hoping that the exposure creates more derision than acceptance. Unfortunately these shows seem to romanticize this movement rather than deter interest. (Define "movement" however one cares.)
  2. Finally saw the fight episode. Looked to me like Dan pushed his chest into Dave's space but Dave threw the first punch. He could have chest-pushed Dan back but he got, imho, really hands-on aggressive. And Laura's poor pelvis/sacroiliac hit the ground. That can do lasting damage. I don't know how most shows handle physical altercations and I only remember RealWorld guidelines which stated that, You lay hands on someone and you're gone. Oh well. I'm overthinking this but I found the scene rather distressing. Especially 'cuz the asshole is still on. Totally agree with Cherry Ames's opinion of Hester as "evil". This show used to be more fun.
  3. I dunno.Maybe it's the angle or a less flattering bikini bottom but her butt doesn't look quite so good in this Daily Mail shot. Oh no. I googled Carole's butt. Somebody help me! Please!
  4. Unbelievable! Didn't Ellen get in all kinds of trouble for re-homing a PUPPY??
  5. I'm down to NY and have been hit or miss with BH. Feel the same as you about London. But will catch at least parts of the scumbags' recent shows. Haven't seen a NJ show in years. Not sure if Brandi will give me the final push to stop BH but I can't unsee the pix of her accidentally (?) flashing her lady bits and fear that's all I will see when she's on. Ewch. If NY continues as the B show I will be out. I quit her solo shows and can quit her again. Almost sorry I gave her another chance. What up, Bravo?
  6. Ditto! Kelly seems to have really grabbed onto this competiton and seriously worked it. I've forgotten more about past PRs than I remember but it seems like many past winners and finalists have entered the show with an already clearly defined aesthetic and Kelly has listened and learned AND stayed true to herself while developing a viewpoint. I misted up during her TH when she won this last challenge. Go Kelly!!!!
  7. Just, no. lol Put down your phones! Some things are better with both hands free. imho
  8. [Adoption] is definitely something that is very dear to our hearts. As Christians, adoption is a such a beautiful picture and reminder of God’s love for us in adopting us into His family. Over the past months, we have been doing research and studying up on the adoption process. We have been so blessed to be able to talk with other adoptive families, to hear their stories and learn from their personal journeys. Since we are soon to have a baby of our own, things are on hold for a time--but we plan within this next year to take some adoption classes and begin working towards this goal. A baby of their own as opposed to one of those adopted babies?
  9. Thanks for the Maureen O'Hara memories. NPR remembered her with snippets from The Quiet Man and it's a beautiful movie (but I'm not a John Wayne fan). You've reminded of so much more. Parent Trap! I can't count how many times I saw it. Who didn't want Ms. O'Hara for a mom? And I am very jealous of big-screen Miracle.
  10. Good god. What has she done to herself? Besides the bad lashes and botox. ETA: If you're emojiing can you also be well and truly screwing?
  11. I had a point and then I read the, she will be comforted...Dad...couch...phone sex..., and went totally blank. Ah. Now I remember. The tampon mention as a privacy thing was not, to me, a big deal. I agree with whoever upthread pointed out that anyone would help a girl out with a tampon, or a ride. Maybe Melissa could have offered something more substantial.
  12. I'm thinking that her definition of marriage is simply "lots of babies". Not so sure about the "lots of sex" thing. I need to see that wedding kiss but I'm afraid
  13. That's a kind of odd piece. It starts out strong but then seems to go back and forth between lauding her talent and criticizing some behaviors. It almost paid more attention to her good than to her bad. Odd. And more comments seem to be in Whoopi's favor than against. Ugh. It's a good start. Something more mainstream and accepted than TMZ et al.
  14. You are a blessing! I will have to read some Scripture and prepare a verse for Cisco for next week. Jesus wept. Will a Leviticus 20 passage work?
  15. What does that asshole have on them? Were they that desperate to settle the suit they let him back on? Disgusting. He completely ruins this show for me. From his arrogant bidding to his overvaluing of his finds, and every step before and after, he just turns my stomach. And I think I'm over Barry, and his clip show, too. He's just too-too something for me. Wannabe character? Trying too hard? I dunno. It's pretty bad when Mary makes other players look good. But when another player is that Mavrick creep... Maybe understandable. Was surprised not to see B&J these last episodes. Did I miss something?
  16. Maybe (probably) I missed something but I'm not understanding why CarolineF was in such a snit about her family finding out that she's dating anyone no matter what their age. Isn't she a papparazzi target? I'd be surprised if very many of her escapades go unnoticed. Seemed to me to be a bogus bitch with Marissa. Could have done without the shooting but did notice Annabelle doing that emphasized "t" thing too. Also not buying that Jules and Marissa's tub-thing delayed the meal by what CarolineS reported as 4 and 1/2 hours. No way! Julie needs meds, stat. These women are kind of boring.
  17. Skittl1321, so very sorry for your troubles. You must feel almost overwhelmed. Peace and good thoughts headed your way.
  18. I'm hoping that picture isn't any more recent than the 70s. But with these people... Definite creep vibe.
  19. Thank you. I hate these "real" people-client challenges. I thought the first look Swapnil started to make for his special snowflake was going in a good direction but not to be. But that cape horror he sent down the runway was a flat mess. And I thought her attitude pretty much sucked until she was able to make fun of the outfit at the pinch and prod w/ Zac et al. All smiles then. And the whole covered arms thing kind of threw me. Don't most usually just want the jiggly upper arm stuff covered? Don't know who the not-Constance-Zimmer judge was but her vocal fry 'bout drove me crazy. Can't remember a thing she said. At least she wasn't also up-talking. Tim sucked this episode, imho. It's one thing to criticize and a totally different thing to swear and demean and denigrate.
  20. Good grief. It looks like she matchy-matched her jacket with the kinda' ugly dishes. And black? They look, to me, more like chargers than plates 'cept they aren't big enough. I'm sure they fit in perfectly with her other decor...
  21. Maybe I just didn't notice before but I wish Julie would stop talking with her big huge man-hands! Too harsh? Maybe, but they are not her best feature to display front and center. CarolineS is ridiculous. I don't believe for a minute she is feeling nearly the remorse that she is expressing. And that ridiculous phone! Swarovski? (Thanks HunterHunted) Way to watch the finances, genius. Surprised to see a Duck boat. For some reason I thought those things had been mothballed because of so many accidents. CarolineF seems just too-too. As in too too fake. Tub scene? Another take on ridiculous. This show is turning into oddly pieced together contrivances, imho.
  22. Ahh. Thanks! With all the Small Talk about The Exorcist I was concerned that he might be channeling JimBoob.
