  1. I haven't seen the show Hunter on the air in 10 years. Thankfully I have the seasons on DVD. Another one I have never seen in reruns is The Critic with Jon Lovitz. Sure it's not The Simpsons but it has a different kind of humor & I really enjoyed all the characters. A show that I adored as a kid that hasn't been on in ages is Eureeka's Castle. The characters were so cute and I loved the little songs. I've always hoped it would come back to t.v in some form for the kids nowadays.
  2. I'm having such a hard time putting into words my new theory on why the secret doesn't have to do with incest. In season 1 we saw Annalise make that incest quip to Hannah. Which kind of makes me think that she did know about it and was using it to torture Hannah. Like if Sam had told her in confidence & she used it as a weapon against Hannah. Also it would mean that Hannah was vying for her brothers affections & that's why she didn't like Annalise. Therefore if Annalise DID know then that wouldn't be a shock. That wouldn't be news to her. Whatever she finds out it throws her for a loop. I'm hoping that this is the case because an incest storyline would be blah.
  3. Dr. Oz & "Dr."Phil. Both are egotistical, soulless frauds. Phil isn't even a doctor & all he does is exploit people with mental issues for profit. I find it scary that Dr. Oz is a real doctor because he is dangerous & has basically used the hippocratic oath as TP for his ass. I don't believe that his statements on opening up schools was by accident or that it was misconstrued. They are both evil men. I hope that Oz's show gets canned. Also these two are part of the reason I'm not a fan of Oprah Winfrey. Instead of giving shows to people who can actually offer something she gave shows to a quack & a doctor who uses his show to sell snake oil.
  4. The first thing that popped into my head was Sam & Hannah were sleeping with each other and Frank was their love child. I'm really hoping I'm wrong though because that would be lame, lazy & obvious. Also like others have pointed out we already did that with the Hapstalls a few seasons ago. At the same time I can't get that incest comment that AK made to Hannah out of my head. In this stage of the game I'm totally fine with AK fuc*ing over Connor & Michaela. Those two were willing to sell her out after all the shit they did that she helped them get through. Oliver though was the worst this episode. His not having an issue with AK being put to death was fuc*ing disturbing. Same goes for the female lawyer that Michaela's dad is working with. Not to mention her dad is a POS for giving up AK's location. I think he is pissed that their relationship didn't go the way he wanted it to. He's letting his male ego get in the way. I knew that the governor was in on all of this. She had had it out for Annalise & was NOT going to drop it. Nate is trash & I really wish that he would die already. Tegan continues to be my favorite person & just priceless. I'm so afraid for her but I'm also afraid to hear something about her I don't want to hear. A big old MEH to Robert coming back. What a waste of time & space. I still say if Tegan survives & hasn't killed anyone that she deserves a spin-off. Franks full of shit when he says that he's over Laurel. Bonnie is going to end up getting hurt in the end when Laurel pops back up. You just know that when Laurel comes back she is going to lay it on with Frank & feed him a BS line about the three of them(her frank & the baby) being a family. I loved watching the FBI guy & the Prosecutor get mad when Annalise played the recording It was *chefs kiss*. When watching Frank do "surveillance" all I could think of was:
  5. All I could think this episode was Tegan X Annalise 4 eva! I just love them together so much. Then there was that scene with Bonnie and even though I know she has killed I still want her to make it out unscathed as well. Was not expecting the "FBI agent" to be Asher's killer. I definitely think she is a mole & that Gabriel needs to watch his back. I didn't expect the Eve conversation to happen. I figured her mom already knew. I wasn't 100% thrilled with how that conversation went with Annalises mom but I feel like she didn't really want to get into it & I'm glad that she acknowledged that she loved Eve. I think a lot of the hesitation for Annalise is being seen as "not right" or "crazy". It's already tough to be a Black woman in society but to also be a queer one is even harder. On a final note I really hope Bonnie doesn't fall for Frank's BS. We all know that if Laurel had walked though that door he would have dropped Bonnie like a hot potato.
  6. I still think the scene where Wes shows up for Annalise's funeral is a dream sequence. I doubt Christopher would go to her funeral.
  7. At this point all I care about is Tegan getting out of this alive. When she was going to get into her car in the garage I was so ready for the car to explode. Also Laurel will forever be the WORST. How dare she blackmail Tegan into helping her whiny ass. Connor's mom is a psycho and I hope we don't have to see her again. I still cannot believe that Nate has survived this entire time. Ugh. What I am curious about is how Annalise gets out of jail next week. She fled the country how does that not equal no bail & sitting in jail until the trial. I think there is more to Solomon than meets the eye. I think there is something else that went down between him & Annalise. I'm also side-eyeing the fact that both Annalise & Laurel were sent to Mexico. Isn't that a bit dangerous? Am I the only one who thinks this isn't just Xavier &his family? I think the governor is involved some way as well.
  8. Looks like Catherine is going to be back for the finale. She is going to be uncredited though so as not to give away spoilers for the finale episode. Here's the call sheet(can't believe they spelled her name wrong!) I knew that they would be endgame. It's a crap endgame but it's not surprising.
  9. Did anyone else have an issue with Voight hanging the one guys sexuality over him in order to get information? I thought that was particularly gross.
  10. I had an odd thought. What if Asher's sister killed him for the 64k. I wouldn't be surprised if she was snooping around and found out about it. Also she seems to be at a low point in life & could use the cash.
  11. Man, 2020 is off to an aggressive start with celebrity deaths. 😮
  12. Sadly, yes it was. It's not surprising that they made the trailers look a certain way & used the music they did. They didn't want people to see this movie for what it truly is. Misogynistic junk. I'm really hoping word gets around about this movie because I feel like this is the type of situation where it creates a domino effect and all female revenge films turn to shit like this.
  13. I read an interesting twitter thread from someone who saw the movie at Sundance. It sounds like the movie is not going to be what people expected or wanted: SPOILERS AHEAD
  14. Looks like I'll be muting the commercials and watching the good ones on youtube tomorrow. 🙄😡 I heartily agree that Coldplay sucked. 😆
  15. Is it too late to replace Shakira & J blows with Gloria Estefan??
  16. I have no horse in this thing I'm just happy that the Patriots aren't in it. I think it's going to be a good game. Oddly enough usually I look forward to the halftime show because the game sucks but this year it's the opposite. Couldn't they have gotten Gloria Estefan instead?? ETA: I know Gloria, J. Lo & Shakira are all different nationalities. I just feel like if they wanted to go Latin themed this year Gloria would have been the MUCH better choice.
  17. Finally got a chance to see this tonight on demand. It deserves all the praise it is getting. I love suspense films but it's so rare to find one nowadays that isn't filled with needless gore, poorly created characters & a forced twist that makes no sense or can be figured out after the first 5 minutes. Every time I thought I could see what was coming I was wrong. It wasn't even that it was the opposite of what I was thinking it was that it wasn't even in the realm of what I was expecting. Bongs use of music brings me back to movies like Psycho. It doesn't give anything away it doesn't distract but it succeeds in enhancing the story. I loved the cowboys and Indians symbolism in the movie. This film reminded me of Get Out. Both are smart, suspenseful, well acted and well written. ETA:
  18. I definitely don't think they deserved it, nobody does. But I have a harder time giving a shit about women who didn't give a crap about the topic until it happened to them.
  19. I agree with this 100%. It's hard for me to feel sorry for women who are homophobes, racists & have no qualms spreading dangerous misinformation. The only reason this movie got made was because the victims were good looking white women. As much as I love Margo, Charlize & Kate there is no way in hello kitty I am gonna see this crap.
  20. That second trailer is much better than what I have been seeing advertised for this movie. I'm not a huge Harley Quinn fan but I do like fun action movies & I like Margo Robbie in this role. Also it doesn't hurt that the rest of the cast seems awesome(esp. Rosie Perez).
  21. That gif comes from episode 8 of the show. The last episode. Also I call the show The MandaSNOREian because it's boring to me.
  22. I will definitely be skipping the Oscars this year. What an absolutely HORRID list of nominees. The person that tweeted about the academy only liking Lupita as a slave was DEAD on! Also how many times are we going to remake "Little Women" or do a war movie like "1917"? I hope Parasite wins. I also find it very suspect that the only nomination for a WOC is for playing a famous slave. 🙄
  23. The KC/Hou game & the Baltimore/Tennessee game are EXACTLY why I will never bet on sports. 😨
  24. I have SO many. Annalise Keating (HTGAWM): Is she perfect? No. But she is kick ass, smart, sexy, an out and proud Black woman & one of the best t.v characters out there. Also it doesn't hurt that she is portrayed by the brilliant Viola Davis. Dorothy Zbornak (Golden Girls): While I loved all the girls Dorothy is my favorite. I love that she doesn't apologize for being smart, she's witty, caring, a good daughter, & strong willed. Once again it helps that she is being portrayed by the incredible Bea Arthur. Kathryn Janeway (Star Trek Voyager): She broke a lot of boundaries for women especially in the sci fi world. She was warm, smart, stubborn, brave, not perfect, witty, logical & kick ass. She hands down had the most difficult journey. She didn't have the luxury of being able to contact and seek help from starfleet. She & the crew had to make it on their own. In the end she managed to get most of them back home safe and sound. Fran Fine (The Nanny): While her voice & laugh made some people flinch I happened to love her. She was fun, funny, smart, kind & relatable. The way that she was with the kids was so wonderful and her outlook on life was refreshing. I know a lot of people call Deborah Messing Lucille Ball 2.0 but I think that title should go to Fran Drescher. She was hilarious whether she was using physical comedy or a facial expression. Carmen Wade aka Machu Pichu (GLOW): Once again I love the whole cast but for me Carmen just stands out. She's the glue of the group, the heart of the group. She's incredibly brave, a great friend/confidant, smart. It was so wonderful watching her get over her stage fright and seeing her forge her own path instead of having to take a backseat to her brothers. LT Anita Van Buren (Law & Order): She is my favorite female character in the L&O universe. She tough, smart, loyal, honest, always backs up her detectives & has a fast wit. I always appreciated that she would side eye the jerks that were higher up & question the system at times. Honorable Mentions: Rosa Diaz(Brooklyn 99), Dee Dee McCall(Hunter), Miranda Hart (Miranda), Patty Hewes(Damages), Julia Sugarbaker(Designing Women), Tegan Price (HTGAWM), & Lisa Simpson(The Simpsons).
