  1. I didn't think this show could get any worse. I. Was. Wrong. There are probably only 2 or 3 characters I want to survie. I just skip over the Aneesha & her kids parts because I hate them so much. It's sickening that so much money is being spent on this show(around 200 mil.).
  2. Cate Blanchett. Not only is she not a good actress but she is a big supporter of Roman Polanski & Woody Allen. She even named her one son after Polanski. Anybody who supports them gets a thumbs down from me. Same goes for Jodie Foster and her unwavering support for Mel Gibson. It makes me question their mindset.
  3. Cate Blanchett. Not only is her acting shitty but her love for Roman Polanski & Woody Allen is just beyond vile. She named one of her KIDS after Roman Polanski even. There is a special place in hell for women like her(same for Jodie Foster) who stand by pedo's and rapists. Jodie Foster lost me because she continuously sticks by Mel Gibson. It makes me wonder if these two women have the same mindset as the men they support.
  4. If you are Ciara it's One, TWO step authentication. *ducks tomatoes*
  5. I would LOVE to see Michelle Yeoh win but I think it's gonna go to Cate Blanchette(Barf). Also working against Yeoh, is the fact that Ke Huy Quan is going to win for best supporting. There is NO way the academy will allow 2 Asian actors to win. I'm still shocked Parasite won best picture a couple years back. I think Angela Bassett is going to take it & I'm thrilled. She was amazing in her role as Queen Ramonda. She always gives an oscar worthy performance. Just becasue it's a comic book film shouldn't take away from her work. Also she is LONG overdue. I think in 2nd place is Jamie Lee Curtis. Best actor is going to Austin Butler. While I would love to see Frasier stick it to the industry by winning(also he's good in the movie) I think he's just gonna miss out. Austin seems to be the "it" guy right now & he has won almost every award prior to the Oscars. Fraiser had steam in the beginning but I think some of it went away because the movie itself is not well liked. Which, once again, shouldn't matter when it comes to performance. The fact that Viola Davis & Danielle Deadwyler weren't nominated for their performances is disheartening but not surprising. Each year it seems like the Oscars picks a different minority to reward/shine a light on & this year it's all about the Asian acting community. The Oscars has a LONG way to go before it can start saying they are fair & that they believe in diversity.
  6. Golden Girls Living Single The Simpsons Are You Being Served
  7. I am NOT looking forward to Meryl Streep on Only Murders in the Building. I don't think she is the end all be all of acting & I think it's gonna be a big "omg Meryl Streep" fest. Ugh.
  8. Janine has HORRIBLE taste in men. Her eating the ribs was hilarious. Poor Gregory. Tyler James Williams has the BEST reaction faces. Jacob & Ava had me cracking up! "Oh my god is a woman!" "Conan O'Cryin" Also thought it was really sweet how Ava has spare clothes for the kids. I like that they are taking the time to flesh out Ava instead of just making her a one dimensional joke. Poor Mr. Johnson. I would love to see him at some point get a replacement cat. Also this is the 2nd week we've gotten Mr. Johnson & Jacob teaming up. I really like it. They have great comedic chemistry. I appreciate that the show doesn't focus on just one or two characters at a time. I also like that they aren't afraid to mix it up with who partners with who. The whole cast is so strong & it's nice to see everyone getting decent screentime.
  9. I truly don't understand how this can be called Sci-fi. This was like watching "This is Us" but with some creepy crawlies. I pretty much hated everyone execpt Jamila(the British girl) & Mitsuki. In NO way would Aneesha have ever made it through medical school. The woman couldn't handle a damn thing without either zoning out or open mouth breathing. She was horrible under pressure. She should have put the affair shit to the side & just worried about the family staying alive. When she went off to play doctor I was like "what in the shit??!" The father was such a spineless asshole. I KNEW that Luke(aka puke) was going to blame the mom for his death. I wish the aliens had taken that family & we never saw them again. The Japanese plot was good up until the final couple of episodes. I really liked Mitsuki & Hinata. Was sad Hinata died. The British school kids plot was LAAAAME. It's like the writers thought let's inject a little Lord of the Flies into our plot but with our shitty writing. The bully kid looked like a mix of Rick Astley & John Mulaney so it was hard to take him seriously. Of COURSE the British kid with the seizures is special. Ugh. I am SO sick of sci-fi movies & shows going the route of the child savior. For once I would like to see the humans actually have to do science to figure out what is going on. Also STOP PUTTING KIDS IN SCI-FI!!! They always make it worse. They spend their time either being "super special & magical" or they whine, scream & cry the whole time. Didn't care about Trevante and his situation whatsoever. She should have divorced his lame ass. As for Sam Neil and his plot, well, I think he was there to pull viewers in. I think the writers/producers didn't have any big leads to rope people in & the story wasn't strong enough so they used Sam Neil to sell it. They of course killed him off but left it kind of ambivilant as to wether he was TRULY dead. That way people would tune in to see if he came back at all. Which would mean watching all the episodes hoping for a payoff to his plot. The ending with the ship thingy or whatever was crap! I had a feeling they were gonna pull that shit because in no way would the aliens have been defeated that easily & also the title of the episode "First Day" kind of gave it away. So basically the end was the beginning of the invasion. Part of me(my curiousity killed the cat side) wants to see season 2 to see if it gets better. The other part of me(rational me) thinks I'm just gonna read the spoilers or these pages to see what goes down.
  10. I HATE when there are kids in a sci-fi show. Most of the time all they do is whine, scream, cry & act like brats. If they aren't all of the above then they are the "savior" or "special one". It drives me NUTS. It's a big reason why Invasion sucked so hard. Just once I want an alien/sci-fi show where the kids are just in the background & there is no "savior".
  11. This episode just makes me even more firm in the belief that Alice has nothing to do with the main case/Bunny's murder. Just like Oliver's paternity situation. It's a B plotline of sorts just so that there isn't only focus on the main crime. Alice is a opportunist & she slid into Mabel's DM's for the sole purpose of using her to gain notoriety & to help her artwork sell. Mabel is the latest exhibit. I even don't think that she had anything to do with the painting in Bunny's room. I also wish the episodes were longer. I feel like just as things get going it ends. The hug between Oliver & Charles was funny & kind of sweet. I actually would love to see Charles go on a date with the makeup/hair artist. She definitely has a thing for him. The glitter bomb was a clever idea. That stuff gets EVERYWHERE & it takes ages to get it all cleaned up. I'm surprised that they didn't follow what would have been a trail of glitter. I wouldn't be surprised if the guy who got "stabbed" on the subway was some performance artist. Cinda is THE WORST. Like I hate her so much I want her gone! I don't even care if the person who kills her(if thats how she goes down) gets caught. They would be doing the city a service. I also think the cop(Kreps?) & Cinda have history somehow. Not surprised that Poppy turned on Cinda. But if I was Mabel I would be careful. I don't trust anyone that is around Cinda.
  12. This season seems to very much about the relationships between father & child. It's why I still think that Charles' dad plays a part in all this. He would have known about the passageways thanks to Lenora. I am hoping that we get more info on Charles' dad because there is so much mystery surrounding him & the building.
  13. Am I the only one who thought Lucy was going to be kidnapped by the person driving her back home? I kept waiting for her to get tied up or a bag put over her head. Even though Teddy is out for revenge against Oliver, I don't think it's him or his son. Also I had my cc on & there was an "oh jesus" that came up when Teddy was putting his head down to his knees. Was he having a heart attack maybe? It also could just be him saying it in anguish because of his son. It just struck me. The casting choice for Lucy was superb. Her & Steve had great chemistry together. Charles is such a good guy & I really hope he does find someone. Oliver & Mabel are a hoot together, I love when they get paired off. The booties the killer was wearing looked to be the kind of booties you wear either for painting or hazmat(ie hospital wear, pest control etc), so as not to get foot prints on things & not to get your shoes dirty. Which if he was wearing those booties he's gotta be the killer. He went in with those shoes as to not make a mess on the floor, not to leave boot prints & because he didn't want blood splatter on the shoes if they searched his residence. You don't wear those if you are just going to steal a painting. Whoever did it knows the Arconia like the back of their hand. No way they would have known about the secret passageway without living there. I wonder if there is a secret tenent we don't know about. I also wonder about who previously lived in Charles' apartment before him. If I were Charles I wouldn't trust Jan. I feel like she is one of those women that would lure him back in knowning he's a soft touch & then screw him over. Her vibe just reads "trouble!".
  14. So here is my wild theory on who killed Bunny. So as we know Charles' dad was having an affair with Rose AND Leonora. What if Leonora killed Rose & framed Charles' dad? Leading to him serving time in prison. Now we never see Charle's dad's body, hear about a funeral or see any reference to ashes. What if Charles' dad is still alive, hiding out & decided to get back at Leonora by killing Bunny & taking the panting to get the money. I figure if Leonora isn't too old to murder Bunny then neither is Charles' dad. I also don't think Cara Delevigne plays any part in Bunny's murder. I think she is another red herring. I personally think she is using Mabel for clout & noroiety. She knows that Mabel is trending & very popular. In the art world being either dead or infamous causes your stock to rise. If she is with Mabel her own stock will rise. I think that's why she not only got the art destruction on tape I think it's why the kiss is also on the tape. I wouldn't be surprised to see her sell the destroyed piece of art & showing the video on insta to jack up the price/interest. Also I found her aggression in dealing with people talking to Mabel about Bunny's murder a little "thou doth protest to much". She was over aggressive with the one guy who brought up the hashtag.
  15. The way Bunny said "What the fuck are you doing here?" makes me think it wasn't anyone who lives in the Arconia. It sounded like she was killed by someone she knew but wasn't in regular contact with. Whoever she was on the phone with earlier(talking about selling the painting) is the person who killed her.
  16. He's also a white man. For a woman, Hollywood is VERY different.
  17. If Barry had stuck to killing mobsters, gun runners, drug dealers, etc. there could have been a road to redemption. But after killing Janice & Chris, that road closed. The two of them weren't bad people & didn't deserve their fates. "Landing this airplane" is gonna be tricky. On the one hand Bill Hader has a charisma that just makes you like him but on the other hand Barry is a psycho. He is unhinged. He is unequivically not a good person. So if they kill him off in the end, it feels like a cop out. If he gets away with it, then it feels too cliched. I feel like the best ending is that he gets arrested & sent to prison ,but, his time is reduced because he outs all the criminals he's worked with or met along the way. It hits that middle line of not getting away with it but also righting Barry's moral compass a bit. In regards to an ending for Sally, they could kill her off & I would be perfectly fine. I have never liked her character. She's egotistical, snotty & is not super talented. In real life she would NEVER have made it. They would have laughed her out of the audition room/writing room. You can't get that far into the business without either having connections, money or a model body. The work she did with Gene was in no way brilliant & I just can't imagine a casting agent or a network being like "Yes! This is the girl! She's a star!" I can't decide wether she will get a happy ending or a sad one. I feel like she may end up back with Barry but it won't last or she will use it to give her career a boost. I think Gene is going to survive the series & just end up retiring quietly with his son and grandson. It's gonna be a rocky road(I think the $$ will come back to bite him in the ass), but he'll be o.k. If Fuches doesn't end up dead I am gonna be pissed. He deserves a miserable death. He was never a good person. I'm torn on whether the writes will kill off NoHo Hank or keep him alive. He's a very popular character & he is a big chunk of the comedy in the show. I could see them using him as their shocking death(if Barry survives). But I could also see them giving him an ending where he survives & flees to another country.
  18. People kept on telling me I needed to watch this. I kept putting it off because I have been so disapointed by shows that get tons of hype(esp. comedies & shows with an LGBTQ aspect),I was wrong. I am completely, head over heels, in love with this show. For me it's like a pirate version of Schitts Creek. It's funny, smart, sweet & I love that the LGBTQ aspect isn't used for drama. It's accepted & the norm. Taika & Rhys have amazing chemistry. It is a comforting show to watch as well. I like all the characters & I really enjoy the writing. If it doesn't get picked up for a 2nd season HBO is gonna have a LOT of angry people to answer to(me included).
  19. Another really funny episode. I hope this show gets picked up for another season. The auto-tune argument was hysterical. Also loved Wyatt & Fay using Noah as their form of entertainment, especially when Wyatt made a recording for Kristen(his wife).
  20. The crying plotline was HILARIOUS! I really like this show.
  21. The scene where Janine is tyring to figure out the breaker box & reads off the Boys 2 Men songs had me rolling!
