  1. I know, I figured that's why she connected best in her scenes with Kate.
  2. I just finished the audio book for I'm Just A Person and I enjoyed it. I watch all 6 episodes yesterday and it was okay, Tig is not a great actor though. It reminded me of her story about Sarah Silverman giving her a role in a show to be herself and she was terrible. She was best in her scenes with Kate. I'd watch a second season.
  3. I can here specifically to say the same thing. I also would have filled the whole "alcove" area with the patterned tile and centered it.
  4. I did not like Roger in the books at all. So far Show Roger is an improvement. Otherwise, I enjoyed the episode.
  5. Kathryn was acting like a teenage girl who was forced by her parents to be somewhere she did not want to be. The scoffing, the eye rolling, the nail picking, the weird feet on the table and in the air moves. (Source: I was once a teenage girl forced by parents to be places I did not want to be) It's really sad when your only defense is stolen from Cartman and episodes of Maury with out of control teenagers being scared straight. - You don't know me! She was also totally on something.
  6. I remember General? I could definitely be wrong.
  7. Did Poussey's GENERAL father allow her to serve time to teach her a lesson? There is no way he lets her death go especially if that's the case.. and he'll have serious back up. Caputo should have thrown Piscatillo under the bus but I guess he knows that hiring Piscatillo, given the skeletons conversation would be thrown back on him. Bayley was inoffensive and could be written off as a mistake. I'm hoping something happened during the conversation between Caputo and General Washington that is going to flip this back onto MCC. I still don't understand why Caputo let Piscatillo cow him, he should have fired him immediately when he threatened to pull all the officers. I cried through the last two episodes.
  8. This song changed my life. I am a Bob. I am a Tina. Linda and Louise's actions are so crazy-making to me - they are huge selfish assholes. Louise would not agree she's a Linda but she is and I could never deal with either of them. It makes me so crazy that we're supposed to find it endearing. But it's the point of the show. But I'm all GAH! WHY! I HATE YOU! WHY ?! Gene is a combo of the personalities. But very Id. I did love the song. I like the show so much. I can't love it because of how they treat Bob. They kill him. It makes me sad, but i love them. marshmallow.
  9. Mrs. Hill looks soooooooooooooo much like my MIL. When she claimed to be pregnant with her 5th at her age, it sorta even fit my MIL's life. She had 6 kids between 54 and 79. My oldest SIL is the same age as my parents. Poor Cynthia. Every time I watch this show I am SHOCKED that this is already the 50's and 60's. The way women are treated is astounding to me. I never really realized it was still this bad, I assumed this type of stuff happened in the 20's and things were so much better by the 50's. Like this was healthcare?! The things that are happening today politically are even more angering. Why anyone would want to go back to this shit.
  10. I read the previously article and I don't get why we're supposed to think Gus is as bad as Mickey? Other than accepting sex from Heidi in public which was dumb. Mickey only seems to relate to Arya, which I don't think is a good thing. Her whole I'm not the cool girl! how dare you fuck me and then ignore me! Which is totally not what happened. They fucked and then she told him to fuck off via the vibrator use and the fit at the Magic Castle and that he and his friends (that she hadn't met) were dumb. Then showed up to his "dumb" get together and was rude to everyone.. then showed up to his job and acted crazy. She also ditched Bertie twice. Also, setting up Bertie with a guy she liked was really shitty. She and Gus don't know each other well enough for her to pull the "I hate you! don't leave me" thing. Or is the whole show about her mental illness?
  11. Yeah, Gus is very much a "Nice Guy," but Mickey is an asshole who is too cool for everyone and everything. Gus' friends were talking about their reality show editor jobs and she opens up with gah, I bet you hate it. The whole theme song thing is super dumb and silly but they just do it for fun. Which she is against for some reason? Just like with the Magic Castle. Are we supposed to feel sorry for her? The witch sex was lame but so was the sex with Mickey.
  12. I just noticed the Wonder Years was on Netflix and have been binge watching, just finished Season 3. I get why they had to change the theme song but why did they choose that guy? Who is it? It's horrible. They should have gone instrumental like the closing theme. Kevin is kind of unlikable. My husband and I joke about his "Kevin Fits." Jack and Norma never reigned in Wayne and he was f'n awful. Watching this again as an adult (late 30's) and having lost MY dad. The Karen/Jack relationship kills me even though my Dad and I were super close with no angst.
  13. Neal (ice cream pants) = oliver hudson + rob huebel.
  14. What is with Sophia's weird ass voices. Why doesn't she ever speak normally? Is Tyler obsessed with Batman? Those were really bad tattoos.
  15. I watched the entire series this weekend..I liked it, it was fun. In this universe did Elizabeth of York kill her brother? Arthur died and Henry VII had no male heirs. She paused watching the paper burn, but she still accused Margaret Beaufort. Richard made the comment about not cursing too far being that they all inter-marry and they'd more than likely curse their own line eventually. Richard was right if Margaret or Elizabeth of York did it... Arthur came from both of them. Though technically, the curse couldn't have worked if Margaret was behind the murder... Henry lived to have Arthur. I did like Margaret's actor, her mannerisms really fit the whole crazy, but hiding/controlling it well. The Neville sisters were dumbasses, and George was crazy. George killed the dog right? And if Elizabeth, Jacquetta and Elizabeth of York had such crazy powers, the whole make it rain INSTANTLY scene, why didn't they use them more?
  16. Did anyone else watch Turkey Hollow? Kind of cute. The mean farmer reminded me of the mean farmer from Tale of the Bunnies Picnic. Ludacris' narration was completely unnecessary.
  17. I binged season 1 over a few days but I'm really not loving season 2, "Jane the Mommy." I don't relate and all her crying about everything Matteo-related just makes me roll my eyes. It might be true to life, but I don't find it compelling. The whole Rafael/Jane relationship is also meh. I feel like she threw away her engagement to Michael to "make it work" with some guy she never had a relationship with. I might be out at this point.
  18. I just started watching this on the Netflix. Wes acts entirely with his neck. He's like ET the lawyer. If you told me Wes has actually been blind this whole time I'd be like, that makes sense.
  19. My guess is they heard a lot more on that phone call. They both totally had mush/meth mouth. I am just a super asshole stereo-typer but I'm ok with that. The Artemis adopters were idiots. Shelter dogs can take a long time to settle in. I don't even know if they just wanted to be on tv, or if having a pit bull IRL scared them or if they were just dumb as fuck. I'm guessing a combo? I'm a super judgmental person and their weird 12 year gap between kids was as freaky as the Tennessee people.
  20. I feel kinda meh overall. I was more hoping for a dark behind the scenes at a ballet company. Not incest babies and weird homeless guy. I don't really understand why he killed Bryan other than his delusions. It was too much Black Swan. Who was Jasper? A Julian Schnabel type? Random arty drug dealer? Was Jasper Kiira's Romeo? Also, why did every one have the worst ringtone?
  21. Santa is always super pissy about everything in the Rankin and Bass world.
  22. It's November 1st so my Christmas viewing has begun. I just added all my Christmas music back onto my ipod. I bought peppermint ice cream at the store. I just watched Twas the Night Before Christmas, and the part that cracks me up is after "Even A Miracle Needs a Hand" number, they... just go to bed. Why was he gathering all the clock supplies? He didn't know about Albert ruining the clock and attempting to fix it at that point. Also, why does Father Mouse know absolutely nothing about clocks? He's Joshua Trundle's assistant. The story not making sense is part of it's charm.
  23. OMG, Really? Man, I am old. Thanks for making me feel old. You're the worst. I guess they all ran together in my head. It's so weird that the majority of the episodes didn't have the Marge Intro, but I associate THOH + Marge intro as a thing. I'm living in a very specific past I guess!
  24. When did Marge stop introducing the episodes? It was probably a few years ago.. but this was the first time I noticed. It didn't feel like a THOH.
  25. Thanks for the kind words guys. I am of course, still really sad, but I have two great pit bulls pups now who came from a shelter who are busy busy busy and funny. A few years ago the stats nationwide for pit bulls was 1 in 600 will get adopted. Hopefully that has improved but I know at my local shelters in California are still over run with pit bulls (and chihuahuas) and they sit in the shelter. The few labs that pop up are adopted within days. My boy, Murphy, came in the shelter as a brand new puppy and he was 1.5 years old when he came home with me. He's not a dog I would have initially picked. He was black, pretty average looking, kinda sad and it was was really really hard to find a male pit bull in my area. He was lucky they kept him so long, they supposedly had room, but they used him like Tia uses Jethro. He is the most amazing sweet dog. At the same time his long time at the shelter made the transition to a house dog tough. I also don't think he's so average looking anymore, he's adorable and handsome. I feel like pit bulls are really popular on instagram and cute buzzfeed articles but still not the dog a family is going to adopt in most cases. The comments on news stories, even positive news stories are still really negative. I am excited to see what happens next week with Earl. I don't think we've seen him at all yet.
