I am only half-way through this book and I have always hated Roger since meeting him. He's gross with all his bullshit virtue. Brianna is definitely an idiot as well. They're why it's taking me so long to get through this book.

I was so sad to hear about Meshach Taylor. I set my DVR to pick up episodes, because I love the show, and I haven't seen an episode in 5+ years. I was so excited a few weeks ago to see it pop up. Man, this does not hold up. It makes me sad that I think it's kind of terrible now. Just OTT and stereotypes. The first episode I watched was when they were competing with some lame guys for a job and went bowling. Then the roof-top dinner for Charlene and her husband. Mary Jo dating the pastor. Suzanne's gay friend who she thinks likes her. I don't know, but Mary Jo is the one I think is the most offensive and annoying watching it again. She's just terrible. Was she always? They were just so bad. I used to love it so much, almost as much as Golden Girls - which holds up better I think. I have 4 more episodes that I haven't watched yet because I just can't.

I totally teared up when old Rosa morphed into young Rosa. I didn't even know I cared so much.

OMG. I wanted a forum for this but I was too embarrassed to admit I watch it to ask. It feels like, to me anyway, that these women do not like each other. At all. They only interact because they are little people and the show. They're also freaking competitive about everything. The faces they make at each other, they're not even trying to hide how they feel. I do think since it's a small community they have known each other for years but they all hate each other.

That is Coco. It lives in their bedroom and sleeps in a dog bed. She went through a barnyard animal phase and collected a bunch of chickens, goats and a pig. Coco seems to be the only one left. I am sure it shits all over the place. So gross.

Everything she says about Dean is the total opposite of what she said in her last book. I listened to it on a long ass solo drive and she spent like an hour and a half of book going on an on about how helpful with the kids he is and loving he is. How he took care of everything while she was on bed rest in the hospital. Seriously like 90 solid minutes about how wonderful and in love they are. Now on the show he's never done any of that. I totally lol'ed when Dean cried out that he was sorry he ruined their fairytale romance. Who talks like that? I guess this show is his punishment for straying, (or at least getting caught.)

i feel dumb basically double posting BUT... Who the fuck is staying at the St. James Hotel? They padlock the rooms from the outside. That seems like a murder-rape hotel. (I swear Zak said Pad-a-lock... but I was distracted by his sunglasses... )

I like his shoe-polish hair.

Hey Zak! You know who hangs out in the Paris Catacombs and probably stole your cameras? Junkies, like Sandy probably is. (Bacchus was just some weirdo, who got weirder.)
