You guys... I did not research or read anything about this next PBS season and I was expecting the newest season to be the latest with Prue and Noel. That I had already seen somehow... but was looking forward to watch again on a TV for want of anything else and I hate watching things on a lap top screen.. I'm so excited, I want to cry. I am not exaggerating. This show is my happy place.

I love this mini series so much. I just re-watched it this weekend - Prime has a lot of the 90's Masterpiece series up, Aristocrats, Tom Jones. I have all these of DVD but I've become spoiled and prefer to watch things streaming, also Prime seems to have all the PBS removed scenes added back, at least on Buccaneers. And @Milz seems to have been correct, with Fellowes upcoming Gilded Age series. (And funny that he shows up as the Duke of Richmond in Aristocrats) I love the cast. Especially, Colonel St. George (who I just realized is Brian's father in Father of the Bride, I never connected that until this weekend) and the elder Brightlingseas. Anyone know what house served as Lizzy and Hector's home? That staircase looks familiar but it doesn't seem to appear in any of the houses imdb tags as filming locations.

Kathryn seems like she's a lot more together, andI know it's just for the show, but she has the worst taste in clothes. She should not be a stylist. Nice try Bravo but we also know that TRav did not actually pay for those clothes.

I really like Tobias Menzies but I feel like he and Matt Smith look about the same age. Irl they are only about 10 years apart and in appearance look less so. I do love the idea of Charles Dance as older Philip.

I've noticed the last couple 40/50's house people seem to be the ones who want to modernize and open concept. Which makes me sad because mid-century California ranches are my favorite. I don't think Mrs. 1948 explained the show to her husband, cause Mustache McFirefighter was all "don't you guys usually gut the kitchen?" She also seemed against the colored toilet/bath set which is one of the best parts of mid-century bathrooms! And Brett so sounds like the Californians from SNL.

I thinks they're trying to distract us from her stomach with that hair. It looks like bad. Cheap extensions bad. And did women have such long hair in the early 60's? That they wore down and loose? She doesn't even have a bump at the crown, well a sad saggy bump. It's all just Halloween wig.

This episode annoyed me too. It's the whole coddling of the MAGA crowd, you can't say, "this is is bullshit!," because "that's why you lost the the election, you're alienating real America." You have to sidle up and be understanding of why they want to restrict other people's rights, because if you move too fast they'll get scared. I just hate that these guys need things to be personalized to be empathetic. Unless they personally know someone who is gay or a person of color they have no ability to understand or care about anyone who is different. And I think they can't extrapolate, they seriously just think well, you're not like those other fill in the minority. I loved Neal, he's right up my alley. Looks (both incarnations) and personality. AJ made me sad that he was so scared to be himself.. and also how old was Haide?! She looked great. In general, I prefer the single guys. I think it's weird to re-do the family home on this show. And I'm sorry, but it's super shitty that they didn't get Vera a well fitting dress and bra. Dumb ass Bobby Camp got nice fitting Target clothes.

I kinda really disliked Kate in this episode. Luke did all this to cover for her with the school and the drama club and she's acting all annoyed/embarrassed with him the entire time. I have to remember these are 14/15 year olds but ugh, stop being so put out by it all and stop being a jerkface. th reaction to the kiss just added to it. I did like the total opposite feelings with Kate/Luke and their parents. I will say maybe I was super nerdy with no friends but no party I was ever at played spin the bottle or 7 minutes in heaven.

Doug is savage nowadays, I love his hallway interviews.. I think he shook that guy's hand on purpose, I don't recall him shaking hands with people often. How is this blind guy climbing through windows and fighting cops with swords?! From his mug shot it's obvious there is some sort of impairment with his eyes but I sincerely hope he's still not working with teenagers. Anthony is a predator of vulnerable teenage girls.

I am super curious about the living 1980's Nagel Painting that has been in the audience all the time lately. The runaway 16 year might have a crappy home life, but the plaintiff was a super creepy stalker. And I don't think he was blind. All of them were so inarticulate.
