Okay, the commercial is for Toilet Paper! That’s why the poor misinformed leg shaving girl had pieces of it stuck all over the numerous divots she has cut into her leg by shaving it in the wrong direction...

Every female I know shaves their legs in the up direction. Down is just... wrong!!!

Okay. There’s a commercial with a (supposedly single) father teaching his daughter how to shave her legs. I have never seen anyone shave their legs in a downward direction. Ever. Anyway, said daughter cuts herself and has little pieces of toilet paper stuck on her legs to absorb the blood. I have no idea what they are selling because I am am yelling at the dad who doexn’t know not to shave legs in a downward direction! I sincerely hope he doesn’t shave his face in a downward direction - unless he wants to sever his jugular should his hand slip..,

Gee... I’ve never had a baby or wedding shower- maybe I should just throw myself a “selfish” shower and register for a Mercedes...

... except for the perfume. Who registers for THAT!!

At least this couple had a first year of getting to know one another. They purchased a home prior to Jinger becoming pregnant, and I’m pretty sure they will most likely have s small family. All good things, in my opinion.

I did love Gloria and Emilio Estefan beaming while their daughter performed- proud parents! It was a very sweet moment.

It also appears that Derick has been getting his hair cut by Jill. No style, basic bowl cut usually given to a small child. His brother has an actual haircut.

Okay folks, Let's remember that these episodes were filmed one year ago. We don't know how much the kids have matured. It might be a whole new ball game now.

And here's to bureaucracy. I am retiring at the end of this week. My state government benefits and pay method are all set up and everything is running perfectly. I also decided to file for Social Security retirement since I am of age - I got the following response to my filing in the mail yesterday: " You do not qualify for retirement benefits now because we have not received enough evidence to prove that you have reached age 62." ( I brought in a certified copy of my birth certificate, a certificate from the hospital where I was born, my driver's license, etc. ) Then, one paragraph down, they state: Based on the evidence we have, we have decided that your correct date of birth is November 1, 1954. (It is). Okay minions, do the fucking math - I will be 63 tomorrow. Maybe I should also bring in my long expired passport... Grrr......

Yep, Maharincess, I think they made a bad move when they hired Paige the camera hog. The drama should be about the decorating, not the host! Alex was really pretty. Paige,,, not so much.

I far preferred the first year of Trading Spaces - without Paige Davis. She is a stage trained actress and has never learned to tone things down for the small screen.

I laughed at the local wives/mothers who have "vanity" businesses. I know a few women in my city who do the same thing - purse shops, knick knack shops, etc. Nothing ever sells. Good thing they have family money to pay the shop rent!
