  1. Say what now? The father of her children who agreed to let Kodouche adopt them?
  2. While I thought the show was funny, I think I'm in the minority on this because it seems totally out of character to me for Bow. I could see the attitude coming from Dre as being more believable especially given his hostility towards her family in previous episodes, which I found to be OTT because he's married to Bow. Wanda can leave anytime...
  3. Lots of Filipinos have Spanish surnames and Catholicism is one of the main religions...
  4. What negotiation needs to happen? It's creepy as hell that Kodouche is asking them not to be sexual. Tony looks Filipino to me. At least it sounds like Tony and Kody have the same idiotic lack of money management skills. Makes total sense to take out a home loan for a wedding...Instead of negotiation and making sure they can all be in the same celestial zip code, why not confirm they have several months of an emergency fund on hand? Find out about their future plans to support themselves and if they are realistic meaning they don't involve bad fashion design sketches. Annnnd, it's very telling how involved Kody and Christine are with Mykelti and her life that they are asking so many questions of Creepy Smile Dawn and her husband.
  5. Random thoughts... Who names their child Block? Was Sheree between weaves wearing that awful Joyce wig? I still can't stand Kandi's office furniture or the crazy I Dream of Jeanie TH look. They need a Jeff Lewis crossover. Bob's smoothie was pure sugar and sweat. Gross.
  6. The after show is just funny. Who did the styling? The hairdresser went overboard with the braided side-sweep. I don't know what that choker was on Catelyn or the rest of the outfit. Looked like bad resort wear ...Maci looked like she was going to play beer pong afterwards and I don't know what monochromatic Amber has done to herself. But the funny part was them talking about how hard they work off the show and Amber saying if Leah got preggers as a teen, that she would take care of the baby while Leah went to school. Oh and that Matt is hot. Agree this show is bullshit. Softball questions and match game. Earlier show, Farrah is batshit. I don't know that any amount of therapy can help that family. I've said it before and will say it again, there's just something off about the whole family. They were weird from day one. Debra seems more sympathetic now because you see she really loves Sophia, but she also loves Farrah's money that pays for all her upkeep. Farrah's butt implants look ridiculous.
  7. I don't know if it's the actress or the character, but Nessa just seems too nice/like able to go bad. I still can't take Hakeem seriously. He just looks all of 14 to me.
  8. I think this is second Liam...this is the first time he's had any major lines. Kind of like New Lilly on Modern Family, I thought it was better when he didn't speak. Cute kids, but not the best actors.
  9. I think it was exploitive, but I'm trying to put myself in her family's/friends' shoes. Maybe they had reached their wits end and thought the show would be a good way to get her into treatment-"you're going to be on tv again...your fans miss you..." Or, like an ambulance chaser, Phil got wind of her story and thought it would be ratings gold. I hope it's the former. Maybe a bit of both. Ultimately, I really hope she can get help and she has people in her life who have her best interests in mind. It's very sad.
  10. The scraggly beards have got to go! When will the lumber sexual trend be over in podunk?
  11. Still don't get this show. I think it had a lot of potential, but I really don't understand any of it, yet I have watched it the whole time waiting for them to get to something and keep me awake. Why did Eddie start Candle Cove? Because he was bullied? If so, why kill adults? What the hell is with the tooth kid? What is that about? I feel like this has just been a series of creepy, disturbing scenes with no real story to pull it together. I feel like the manatees are at work here...actually, that would make more sense at the very end than what I've seen up to this point.
  12. I don't disagree with Russ and his feelings, but I take issue when I hear "allow," or that Pao needs "approval." That modeling contract wash really sketchy. She shouldn't have to pay, and how long do they get to take 20% from other agencies she books with? I'll bet she's not going to make much of anything when all is said and done. Be outraged about that vs. a little side boob. I was waiting to hear that they had evidence of Mo trying to scam others before Danielle.
  13. I'm trying with this show, but it puts me to sleep. For me it's painfully slow.
  14. Dr Phil can send people to NJ and Nigeria, but he can't do a search and figure out who the guy is in the picture like they do on Catfish?
  15. Girl really needs a stylist--bad jewelry, fishnets, ugly dress, and sumo bun. She looked ridiculous.
  16. I am hoping they revisit the grandfather angle. Like maybe he was exploring and took a lot of artifacts he shouldn't have and he started it all and maybe that's why the family hasn't been touched yet...Was really hoping that was the end of the aunt. She was annoying from the first scene.
  17. How much is Simon getting paid for the amount of abuse he gets from Farrah and her batshit family? I know depression is serious, but I just want Cate to get it together even if she sets small goals for herself each day..."today I'm going to walk to the mailbox and get the mail...tomorrow, at 10, I'll take Nova for a walk to the end of the block." Not big goals, just something she can easily achieve on a daily basis until she can work up to a small part-time job or even volunteering or school. Something away from Tyler and her family. She needs to ditch Kathleen. What is her purpose? I hope the new doctor is better and can give her a tangible plan and real therapy while also holding her accountable in a healthy way that negates Tyler's bullshit or even teaches her to do it for herself without being so negative. Not just adjust her meds and send her on her way with some sound bites that she and Tyler will bastardize later. One word, Amber, Target. Of course the child isn't going to wear that foolishness to school. I hate to say it because she seems like such a good kid, but they are setting Leah up to become a master manipulator given the the things she says to each parent. Right now she's trying to please them and tell them what they want to hear (except Gary getting up early-this was a gem), but I see that changing over time. Why on earth would she give Matt access to her credit cards? She deserves to go broke. Ryan shouldn't have an animal for any extended period of time let alone Bentley.
  18. I think it would be interesting to see an atheist character, or a character who does question faith. ESPECIALLY in the black community. I want so much to like this show. I did some of the same things when I was younger...wanting a bat mitzvah (black girl) because my friends were having them. My parents mostly left religion up to me thinking that I would chose something later, when I actually chose nothing to their disappointment. I would like to see that represented. I too am going to have to check out the podcast. Also, I have to go back and read the other threads, but what is the hostility that Dre has towards Bow's family? I can understand a free-loading brother--a little-- but with this episode and the episode last season with her parents, it seems to go deeper than that and I don't get it when she is so patient with his mother.
  19. I thought Shannon was cradling a blow up doll, then I realized it was Tamra...
  20. Is it wrong that for a second I thought Leah's compact was a birth control pill box? Is it even wronger how, given her parents, it would almost be okay to me if it was a make believe birth control box? I'm going to hell... Farrah is just batshit. Who wears a sequined jumpsuit to therapy? I live in LA and that's OTT for even here.. I so don't even think this is even a real a relationship. Farrah was kind of channeling Debra with those lips.
  21. The bratty 13 year old just reminded me of the South Park episode, "whatever whatever I do what I want." This was way too Maury for Phil...I can't take the "Bull" show seriously
  22. OT we still have the lockbox on our garden hose pipe 8 years later because the original real estate agent never came back to get it...I just feel like I would need a machete first and foremost over bolt cutters in the event of a zombie apocalypse but I can't be bothered to get either at the hardware store. There's always Amazon but it's a scary thought to wonder what will come up on a search, "people looking at machetes and bolt cutters were also interested in..." Dani is pathetic, if Mo apologized and came home after blondie is done using him for camera time, she would take him back. She all but said it when they were staring at the blank tv screen. Lack of cable probably would not be at the top of my list of in describing how "Mo done me wrong."
  23. I don't think they'll care too much as long as they can confirm that she can say "would you like fries with that?" Because...now making change and finding the corresponding picture on the register may be hard especially with places moving towards healthier options that include more vegetables.
  24. Sad about Antwon. I'm just now getting caught up on the firings. She gossips about everything else, wonder why she never addresses show rumors? I would do that before calling out my pre-teen son for drugs...
