  1. I'm really glad it's a musical and not a straightforward remake. It's what they should have done with Heathers.

    Priscilla

I kind of saw it as a series of memories preserved in very stylish photographs.
  3. Ava is actually pretty watchable now. Tamara Braun and Steve Burton like hanging out together and it makes their scenes together pretty enjoyable.
  4. Wendy must look like an absolute raging bitch to Cara and I love it. LOL The whole paternity reveal was well-done. I am disappointed that they didn't do more with Ed/en because the actor was pretty cute but I like the set-up for Holly now being into Haz and unknowingly stabbing her friend in the back.

I kind of love that scene at the end where she looks at herself in the mirror- no makeup and a simple shoulder length hairstyle, and it's like she finally became who she wanted to be.
  6. They really should be investing into him. He's hot, he's young, and most importantly, he doesn't have any familial ties with a core family.

The photographing scene was probably the most effecting to me. So bizarre, weird, yet tenderly sweet.
  8. I honestly did not think that we'd get another teen scene on the show after the back to back failures of the Paige/JJ one and the Ciara/Claire one. When I realized the show was having Johnny and Allie skipping being teenagers altogether, I pretty much figured that was it. There's also just the budget issue, which they learned the hard way when they tried to recreate Last Blast with Ciara. I guess they figured out how to do a teen scene with a microbudget wherein we never see them in class and school dances are mentioned but never seen. LOL That's what GH does. It gets annoying but I really have enjoyed their teen scene for the past few years especially once Nicholas Alexander Chavez came in.
  9. In true Cher Horowitz fashion, Holly completely misunderstands the love situation. Holly, Johnny isn't your Josh. He's totally your Christian. LOL The jury's out on whether or not Tate will be your actual Josh, or your Elton instead. No, but seriously, I like the actress. I wish they had written Allie Horton more like how they're writing Holly Jonas (and they had made Allie a teen), but it's better late than never for us to finally get at least one more teen scene. Thank god she isn't written as such a wet rag, which is what they did initially with Allie and the first teen Ciara.
  10. It was overly indulgent but forcing it into 3 hours should actually help a lot. I also read numerous reports that they punched up the Games portion a bit so that there's a little more action.
  11. You know they wanted to keep NB but he just looked too much like a little boy next to Joss. And then they recast with NAC and it's been a pretty smashing success, while NB got to work on a Ryan Murphy show. It all worked out.
  12. I really kept thinking that this is a movie that should have been directed by David Fincher. It would have been so much better if it had been. It felt like a meandering mess, which is NOT what you want from a crime thriller. I was also really confused about the conspiracy. So the girlfriend was acting as a realtor and "fake selling" properties that her boyfriend's family owned. She was also having sex with her clients in those houses? At the same time, the girlfriend had no awareness of the drug smuggling in the properties she was faking selling? She never wondered why she wasn't getting any money? I'm still so confused. I liked the usage of "Knocking on Heaven's Door" but I kind of thought they should have used it to show where the survivors of the story end up, including Alicia Silverstone's character. How does she deal with knowing her uncle was part of a plot that got him killed and nearly killed her husband? I did like the chemistry between Alicia Silverstone and Benecio DelToro. It was a little "Excess Baggage" reunion. LOL
  13. Barely remember anything about the series but it looks fun. It's also nice to see Emily Blunt as a love interest and not a 25-year old starlet.
  14. I wouldn't be so sure about that as he's played by Maurice Bernard's son.
  15. He won me over the second he showed up and started talking to Baby Lulu while she was in the nursery waiting for a bone marrow transplant. I am not surprised but I was hoping he'd find some stability and at least get to see his kids finish childhood. His son is 14 and his daughter is 10 or so. I really hope he's at peace.
  16. Yeah, the male lead from Suits got really excited about the show's renewed popularity after showing up on Netflix so he posted BTS photos from it. He got reminded doing that was a no-no. It does kind of feel ridiculous to do this with shows that have been in the can for more than just a few years but streaming residuals are part of it.
  17. I think I meant it in terms of how, when this all first started, Rachel Zegler would tell people, "Hey, I'm actually a White Latina, so Snow is still White!" ....that really doesn't seem to matter at all during this pile-on. It does need to be said that it's insane all this happened over literally nothing, and the fact that we're still talking about this months later. And I really do think it's because she's an easy target as a movie newcomer who hasn't actually had a hit role yet and because Rachel doesn't put on the simpering wide-eyed "Oh gosh, I can't believe Hollywood chose lil' ol' ME to star in movies!" In any event, Rachel's at the point now where anything she says or does will be taken negatively. She could save a bus full of children and she'd still have nasty haters bitching about her. I just hope Rachel has a thick skin- eventually there will be a new rage target so hopefully she rides this out.
  18. Jacob Tremblay's voice cracking while talking about Little Mermaid...aww, puberty, thank god I haven't experienced that in over 20 years. LOL I'm glad he's riding out his "awkward stage" (that can kill so many child star careers unless they're lucky like Elizabeth Taylor who never had an awkward stage) by doing voiceover work. A really smart move while he waits as we know that generally Hollywood is going to pick a 18-year to play 16 over an actual 16-year old, especially when it comes to guys. He should do fine when he finishes growing up, though. Remember his parents, lol. I lean towards thinking he mostly favors his mother (he had such a cat-like face similar to hers) but lately his face has been elongating to resembling a bit of his father, as well. That kind of surprised me. Sometimes teenagers look pretty much the same as they did as little kids, just bigger (see: Tina Majorino) and sometimes you get some pretty significant changes. I am really glad his parents didn't move to Los Angeles.
  19. I had a similar reaction to Brittany Murphy dying. She was diabetic (Dana Hill died at a similar age of diabetes complications) and had fluctuating weight, which couldn't have been good for her heart. When she passed I wasn't surprised at all. She seemed so fragile.
  20. Well, the LA lifestyle ain't cheap especially when you're a Baby Boomer star who hasn't been lucky enough to get one of their songs to go viral on TikTok. Taylor Hale, Big Brother winner, also showed up as one as the model in the red 1992 gown.
  21. I think they explained this by saying that Percy took a gap year before going to Harvard. He was supposed to learn about the world, but I'm betting he spent that year volunteering at the dog shelter and playing video games instead, hence why his parents started to get desperate.
  22. I always thought Matthew Perry was going to be the first Friend to go. Not surprised at all. What a tortured soul he was. RIP.
  23. I did a recent rewatch of season 1 up to late season 2, and I gotta say, this show would have been dead in the water with Aleks as the captain. He's just too young and doesn't have the gravitas/authority needed. Maybe he could work now, but it doesn't seem like he parted with Bravo on good terms. As always when I watch season 1, I'm increasingly skeeved out by CJ. Why do I feel like he probably still goes to bars and tries to hit on 22-year old girls?
  24. True. She doesn't seem to be breaking under the stress so good for her. It's that tough Jersey girl streak, I'm telling you. Lol
