  1. And his newborn son. I wonder if they edited Drew out of the earlier seasons that are showing up on the sports networks...
  2. I always thought his bits on SNL were the weakest part of the show... I think Al was devastated when he had to quit the Senate. He wanted a FULL INVESTIGATION but Gillibrand said you've got to go. As he said, the Democrats in Congress just wouldn't speak to him anymore. It would be ironic if he was drunk on the show. He and his wife have talked candidly about her battle with alcoholism.
  3. Speaking of Flex, I miss seeing that young woman with CP that Flex used to care for and who would show up at the competition. I know Flex left her and moved to the Midwest for Chris, but is the young woman ok? I hope the split wasn't devastating or anything. With everyone on Zoom watching, I thought I might see her...
  4. If production liked her, surely they would have nicely "suggested" that she say "Dale's and MY relationship" OR "OUR relationship" since everyone knows it's her relationship with DALE.
  5. There is a case in my hometown of Rochester NY that I am SURE Dateline will cover. (They've covered several in my area: a couple murdered by her ex who hired a TEXAS SHERIFF to kill her and her new boyfriend. The killer was caught by a speeding ticket stop in KANSAS. Another one was the Cornell football player who was charged with killing his abusive father.) A bigshot business executive was accused last year of murdering his wife 37 YEARS AGO WITH A HATCHET TO HER HEAD in their wealthy suburb. https://13wham.com/news/local/after-37-years-husband-charged-in-1982-brighton-ax-murder
  6. It's not that big of a deal in NYC. First, she probably just had her finish the school year and THEN told the school she wasn't coming back in the fall. I'm assuming the girl went to a private school. She could probably return easily enough. I think her "vetting" was off because hey, she read about him first in The NEW YORK TIMES, so she knew he was legitimate and second, he actually DID pay for those trips. It wasn't like she got a call a month later from the CC company saying the bill wasn't paid. Those dresses were probably $5,000-$10,000 each. And how about their poor friends who spent all that money for plane fare and didn't get to go.
  7. I find this very refreshing in today's very PC world. She does have a point.
  8. No way! Clare is in love ... too bad Dale isn't. She is every desperate woman at a family wedding... beautiful but every guy there hears her ticking clock. What they SHOULD have done is gotten handsome, successful divorced 50-year-old guys willing to give Clare a baby... THOSE are the guys attracted to her, not 30-year-old guys who want to date 22-year-olds. I will say, though, they picked out some real lookers as compared to some seasons.
  9. His ears are really tiny and odd, though ...
  10. My Asian family of first generation Americans would make similar remarks. Perfectly acceptable in Asian communities, although they usually only make such comments among themselves. Michelle may be a jerk, though, according to everyone's standards. We'll see.
  11. From my online cable guide: NBCSN will be showing Skate America from 8-midnight Friday, 23rd and NBC will show it 3-6 pm Saturday.
  12. I heard it might be on at 10, but that seems unlikely... or maybe CBS All-Access (that paid site is doing awful) or maybe even just on the web. MEANWHILE, over in BB's old SUNDAY NIGHT spot, CBS is running a 60 Minutes REPEAT.
  13. Not only that, but she's over 70! I don't need to see Betty White on that show either.
  14. The questions themselves seemed very wordy. The editor in me could have shortened them by several words.
  15. It's easy to find ANY category that could exclude David, Bayleigh and Day... "People whose first names don't begin with B and D." I don't think they do it deliberately, but it just happens. Remember high school? Jocks at one table, losers at another? They just aren't THINKING. I wish they'd have a season in which white jocks were the MINORITY. I remember they tried that on Survivor, only that became a public disaster. (Although it had my favorite winner, Yul)
  16. One of his guests a few weeks ago discussed that issue in-depth. I guess I have COVID brain now, because I can't remember who!
  17. I posted the original comment! A couple of posters mentioned that your ears get bigger as you age. Who knew?
  18. I did question her inclusion myself! But then I thought, she just thought her husband was FINE ... She didn't marry him for his brains.
  19. In a few years, those wings will look like bizarre veins or stringy strands of hair.
  20. I doubt it. Men her age want younger women and are especially wary of women whose clocks are ticking and who desperately want children. If Tinsley is like other RHs, she'll do what they do: get married, have a baby quickly and then promptly get divorced. See: Frankel, Bethenny; Moore, Kenya; Park, Phaedra ...
  21. It didn't look that good. It reminded me of sewing class where you have to make a gown with just one yard of sheer fabric. Why is HER NOSE SO PINCHED? I'm surprised she can breathe.
  22. That's what annoys me about The Amazing Race. They have the same couples year after year. one college frat team, cheerleaders, feuding married couple, earnest young engaged couple, suburban mom friends, one old couple, parent/child with issues. The one interesting season for me was when the partners met at the starting line.
  23. Bridal/baby shower invitations, wedding invitations, thank you cards... And during the quarantine, I wrote several letters and cards especially to elderly relatives ... it was kind of fun.
  24. I am stumped as to why the white frat boys continually win against all opposition. You're right--by their nature, the competitions should NOT be easier for white guys, yet they win. In SURVIVOR, it seems more evenly matched although in AMAZING RACE it also seems the all-white male young 20-somethings seem to win most often. Maybe it's who the show recruits. The white guys seem to be filled with undeserved self-confidence, or else their pampered lives leave them in a position to play more games, work out more etc.
  25. I liked this show once, but I'm squirming this season. Every HOH: White Guy. Winners of VETO: White guys. Voted out: women, minorities.
