SoCharmers in the Media: The Post & Courier
AuntieDiane6 replied to Lola16's topic in Southern Charm
That's why I genuinely enjoy Southern Charm New Orleans. -
I always wonder if there is some racism involved... the ladies of the other shows don't seem as desperate for it all to hang out. It's as if TPTB WANT people to ogle the jugs.

S11.E22: DadWare, Tough Apparel, Potty Safe, Lord von Schmitt
AuntieDiane6 replied to JTMacc99's topic in Shark Tank
Her Squatty Potty WAS a worthwhile idea but you don't need to replace them, so the initial idea has already worn off. It's pretty strategic to find more products in the same line. -
I always wonder why all these rich young women saddle themselves with a child with a man they don't love. The Kardashians, Gigi .... is something so wanting in that lifestyle that they need a baby for wholeness? Maybe they just deliberately choose sperm donors based on looks and not personal values.

She has a very square, masculine body. Someone who didn't know her would think she had transitioned.- 1.1k replies

Marta Karolyi always discouraged fancy mounts, saying they weren't worth the loss of points if you fell off right at the beginning. And remember, if a move becomes too prevalent, they can always de-value it and the move will disappear. I'm just upset that they valued one of Simone's beam moves really low so now nobody will do it. (I'm not up on the name of her moves)

^^ THIS.^^ The entire storyline reminds me of all the Real Housewives shows and how desperate they are for something to do. In THREE of the shows, women with children all act like they want babies and go through fertility testing and in one case, one--a mother of FOUR--brought home a toy doll that is supposed to cry through the night. It's all a pat and predictable storyline.

I'm really pissed that I missed this! And I'm even more upset that if I WANT to see it, I have to buy yet another app as it's not being REPEATED on the NBCSN channel or the NBC OLYMPIC channel. I pay an extra $20 a month as it is to get the premium NBC sports channels and now that there's a show I'd like to see, I have to buy YET ANOTHER app or pass!!! It also wasn't even announced UNTIL FRIDAY. It never showed up in my listings... and it seemed like it was offered on a really odd date in the MIDDLE OF APRIL.

Yes. You can tell the difference by the reaction from the man (or men) in question. Does he look uncomfortable? Are his eyes roaming desperately looking for a buddy to come over and rescue him? While you're flirting, is he eyeing the beautiful 30-year-old blonde at the bar? Does he say "hmm... I'm sorry. What did you just say?" when you're trying to talk to him? Are you laughing too loud when he makes a bad joke? Then my friend, you need to realize, HE'S JUST NOT THAT INTO YOU!!!!! From other comments above: the 95-year-old flirting is cute and funny. The 60-year-old with young guys from the Air Force Base ... probably has had more than one STD. You know he's laughing about her back with his buddies.

Tim Daggett also had no problems calling Kohei Uchimora the greatest male gymnast. On the other hand, commentators also have no problem calling Uzuru Hanyu the greatest MALE SKATER and I have no doubt that if Michelle Kwan had won gold, SHE would have been considered the best (contemporary) female skater. Brian Boitano was NOT the greatest, although he DID elevate the sport as a professional and his 1988 routines were FAR AND ABOVE his earlier programs. When he needed to step up, he did.

The Real Housewives of New York City: All the Vacation Episodes
AuntieDiane6 replied to Primetimer's topic in Curated Binges
I would PAY, yes, PAY to see one of those "Inside the Episode" shows for Scary Island like they did for BH's Dinner Party from Hell and the OC's trip to Canada "I NEVER SLEPT WITH MULTIPLE PEOPLE!!!!!" -
The Real Housewives of New York City: All the Vacation Episodes
AuntieDiane6 replied to Primetimer's topic in Curated Binges
Nothing beats Scary Island. I even looked into renting that fabulous villa. It rented at the time for $10,000 A WEEK, but with all those bedrooms, it would be great for an extended family or a group of friends. -
S12.E20: More Love More Problems
AuntieDiane6 replied to TexasGal's topic in The Real Housewives Of Atlanta
I don't think she actually enjoys being at home and will make any excuse she can to leave. Maybe she even married so she COULD leave, knowing a parent is home with the kids. Even Riley complained that she doesn't have time for her children. She thinks throwing money at them will make them forget she's never there. -
S12.E03: Don't Mansion It

The fancy designer house where Ramona is taking her friends? It was the set for the mansion featured on the TV show REVENGE. -

YES! That is the word I was looking for! That's the problem with getting implants when you're older. As your middle "settles," those bosoms look like you've nursed 5 kids and you get the Aunt Bea look .... Take them out, Ramona! -

Hardly. He met Kandi while working for OPRAHl. If he was an opportunist, he'd encourage Kandi to keep working so he'd have time for a girlfriend. -
It was better than their original choice ... "winners at war .... a colossal bore "

Memory Lane: Seasons 1-5
AuntieDiane6 replied to comatoast's topic in The Real Housewives Of New York City
Still, I laughed out loud as Jill watched Ramona "The Alien" walk the runway and Simon said with a straight face, "Well, her eyes popped." What I do notice about those early seasons is how fast-paced they are: luncheons and charity events every episode, conversations with the kids and partners, music in the background almost continually. Every time I left the room I was greeted with a new lively scene upon my return. I miss that.- 1.1k replies

Wheel Of Fortune - General Discussion
AuntieDiane6 replied to David T. Cole's topic in Wheel Of Fortune
Tonight's episode with DAVE from Santa Cruz made me want to say, "Look, I know you want to take home as much as you can, but when you have won EVERY TOSS-UP and EVERY PUZZLE, why not let your FELLOW CONTESTANTS at least get the $2000 questions? He was such a jerk--making sure he brought home EVERY PENNY. He won the trip, two puzzles with $5000 and $3500 letters AND the $10,000 bonus. The other two guys? One won nothing (usually because of LOSE A TURN) and the other got $2000 (he got one of the triple questions). Oh, and he won the BMW. I admire his game play, but don't be a jerk when there is no way the other players could catch up. -

S12.E20: More Love More Problems
AuntieDiane6 replied to TexasGal's topic in The Real Housewives Of Atlanta
Of course Kenya didn't have enough time to know Marc. She is in her mid-40s and wanted a baby. I think she knew that they would be splitting up soon after the baby was born. Marc's job was DONE. Given that NONE of the women in these families are married to their children's father, you think that a decent man WITH A GOOD JOB would be WELCOMED WITH OPEN ARMS!
