  1. I wonder if Gabriel is Ivan's half-brother: maybe from his father's first marriage? They don't even look alike. But damn, those facial tattoos. He sure won't be working in an office. I wonder what he's doing now.
  2. I enjoy them and I bet the guests do too. We already have a million talk shows with Host at Desk and Guest with Anecdote.
  3. Speaking of Leon, I am seeing clips of his appearance on a Hallmark Christmas movie! Time for Us to Come Home for Christmas.
  4. She didn't think he was the one. When you are that age and have baby fever, you really don't care who your sperm donor is. You know they will be gone soon. (See: Frankel, Bethenny) For heaven's sake, WHY MARRY? Step One: marry, step two: baby, step three: boo-hoo he's awful I want a dddiiivvvooorrrrccceeeee.... This is why arranged marriages have a better rate of success. You've got the families supporting you. Cynthia just got married for the show. She loves being on the show and those weddings give her the limelight and a storyline.
  5. The boyfriends DO seem quite happy. My comment seemed like something one of them would have said. If you don't think so, I'll remove it. No slur on women--just on a nasty woman who is quick to blame Chee yet repeats her own mistakes OVER AND OVER. Their relationship was NOT so strong--Hung even said that they had neglected their marriage and that's why they did this. Chee seemed so unhappy in the beginning with her nagging. She's ugly inside and it shows.
  6. Sorry, but that little butterface would do nothing for most men--and you know Chee will not hear the end of it if they lose.
  7. Anybody see Happiness Season on Hulu? It's about a 20-something lesbian couple who go home for Christmas but one of the women insists they pretend to be "friends" because she's not out to her family. Some funny parts with a younger weird sister, good acting (Victor Garber and Mary Steenburgen play the parents) and a family FULL of secrets. Kristen Stewart plays the perpetually sullen girlfriend. As to my favorite can't miss movie, it's A Carol Christmas with, of all people, Tori Spelling who plays an out-of-control talk show host but learns the true meaning of Christmas. It will be on Hallmark on Dec. 23rd. The other one features Carrrie Fisher in It's Christmas, Carol. Alastair Sim and Mr. Magoo have nothing to worry about, but I like it.
  8. You should be. Japan has had only 10% of the cases the USA has and only 1200 deaths since MARCH. Japan also is hosting the Summer Olympics in July so they cracked down early and severely. Plus, mask wearing is already common in Japan for those who have potentially contagious diseases.
  9. I hope the blondes get invited back for an All-Star season (if there is one).
  10. They "claimed" that they yielded the blondes so that Hung and Chee would have a better chance.
  11. No way does Dale want to live out of the limelight in SACRAMENTO.
  12. I think it's because Filipinos are only 1% of the US population and the majority live in Southern California.
  13. Listen, there was NO WAY to excuse that abominable performance and splat fest. No way to sugarcoat it. Nathan himself admitted he choked. And then he went and blew the field away with his long program. THAT's how champions do it. If you want to talk about grace and performance under pressure, consider Uzuru. Or Yuna Kim. They have 100x more pressure than probably any US skater. No one called her the next gold medalist. They certainly thought she would be able to COMPETE with the Russians and the Japanese. That's fair. I also don't think she was overscored. And she landed her jumps--which certainly has been the problem with a lot of the US ladies, although some like Mariah Bell seem to be coming into their own at just the right time.
  14. Asians culturally respect humility. There would be no reason for a TALL handsome Asian to be henpecked by that tiny wife with a gummy smile who is only a few inches from being on a Little People show. (My native Chinese sister-in-law said, partly in jest, that she married my brother because at 5'10" she was taller than almost every guy she knew.)
  15. Well, similar complaints were voiced on shows like Survivor and Big Brother and they changed some of the competitions to reflect those "female" advantages. And guess what? Frat guys STILL won them.
  16. And his newborn son. I wonder if they edited Drew out of the earlier seasons that are showing up on the sports networks...
  17. I always thought his bits on SNL were the weakest part of the show... I think Al was devastated when he had to quit the Senate. He wanted a FULL INVESTIGATION but Gillibrand said you've got to go. As he said, the Democrats in Congress just wouldn't speak to him anymore. It would be ironic if he was drunk on the show. He and his wife have talked candidly about her battle with alcoholism.
  18. Speaking of Flex, I miss seeing that young woman with CP that Flex used to care for and who would show up at the competition. I know Flex left her and moved to the Midwest for Chris, but is the young woman ok? I hope the split wasn't devastating or anything. With everyone on Zoom watching, I thought I might see her...
  19. If production liked her, surely they would have nicely "suggested" that she say "Dale's and MY relationship" OR "OUR relationship" since everyone knows it's her relationship with DALE.
  20. There is a case in my hometown of Rochester NY that I am SURE Dateline will cover. (They've covered several in my area: a couple murdered by her ex who hired a TEXAS SHERIFF to kill her and her new boyfriend. The killer was caught by a speeding ticket stop in KANSAS. Another one was the Cornell football player who was charged with killing his abusive father.) A bigshot business executive was accused last year of murdering his wife 37 YEARS AGO WITH A HATCHET TO HER HEAD in their wealthy suburb. https://13wham.com/news/local/after-37-years-husband-charged-in-1982-brighton-ax-murder
  21. It's not that big of a deal in NYC. First, she probably just had her finish the school year and THEN told the school she wasn't coming back in the fall. I'm assuming the girl went to a private school. She could probably return easily enough. I think her "vetting" was off because hey, she read about him first in The NEW YORK TIMES, so she knew he was legitimate and second, he actually DID pay for those trips. It wasn't like she got a call a month later from the CC company saying the bill wasn't paid. Those dresses were probably $5,000-$10,000 each. And how about their poor friends who spent all that money for plane fare and didn't get to go.
  22. I find this very refreshing in today's very PC world. She does have a point.
  23. No way! Clare is in love ... too bad Dale isn't. She is every desperate woman at a family wedding... beautiful but every guy there hears her ticking clock. What they SHOULD have done is gotten handsome, successful divorced 50-year-old guys willing to give Clare a baby... THOSE are the guys attracted to her, not 30-year-old guys who want to date 22-year-olds. I will say, though, they picked out some real lookers as compared to some seasons.
