  1. But it bothered me that Katie’s family was basically a nonentity while Katie was presented as an imperfect victim, which was more than enough for pukes like Jamie’s supporter to say that she deserved what she got. So Katie’s friend turned out to be right in her fear that the murderer would get more attention than the victim. I’d be disappointed if I was actually surprised.
  2. Yup this episode was brutal. Especially when Briony trying to stress the serious consequences of Jamie’s actions, repeating that he took Katie’s life violently and yet he still wasn’t having it, playing the victim and calling Katie a bitch. It was sickening.
  3. She still didn’t deserve to be stabbed to death over it. The cruel irony of the cops assuring Katie’s friend that she wouldn’t be overshadowed by her killer…and yet that’s exactly what happens.
  4. I’d have felt sorrier for Richard if he just told Amy the truth in the last episode instead of gaslighting her. Honestly, Nora was right to rip Amy a new one. Just because she doesn’t remember the awful way she treated her family doesn’t mean it didn’t happen. And Michael, do you really want another go if the only reason Amy loves you again is because of a brain injury? I don’t know if I’m coming back next season.
  5. Buckle up. That’s all I have to say. I mean, I knew it was going to be bad, since it’s Haymitch’s story and he winds up an alcoholic mess, but Jesus…
  6. Reading Sunrise on the Reaping. Just when I think the Hunger Games books couldn't get any more brutal, Suzanne Collins takes it as a personal challenge...
  7. I preferred Claudia too. Unfortunately she couldn’t reprise the role because her mom got sick, which is understandable. (And can the mods please merge the two threads so I can stop feeling like an idiot for making a duplicate one? 😳😳😳)
  8. That was supposed to be President Kamala Harris, right? Seth obviously wrote this episode before…I can’t lie, that hurt. Other than that, I liked the whole WarGames homage and Steve saving the day with memes. So no more episodes for a while? Aww.
  9. McConnell, yes. Biden, no. He doesn’t owe anybody anything anymore. He, the Obamas, Kamala, Walz, and tons of others tried to warn people, but they put their fingers in their ears and went “Lalala both sides the same.” At what point are we going to stop blaming “the messaging” when too many idiots just decided they didn’t care? So if Biden and the Obamas decided they need a break from speaking out after all their efforts were thrown back in their faces, then I certainly won’t blame them. Don’t get me wrong, I love Walz speaking out, but I’m old enough to remember how the cycle goes. Sooner or later, people will start questioning his fitness and age…
  10. D’oh! I’m sorry! Should’ve checked more thoroughly! But yeah, can the mods merge them?
  11. I understand not liking the story. IMO it's worth seeing if only for the animal puppets and the gorgeous scenery. It's definitely a visual spectacle more than anything.
  12. From what I can tell, they didn’t. It’s 2016 all over again. Some are still acting like sitting out the election was the only moral choice, that Kamala wouldn’t have been any different, bullshit bullshit bullshit…and even the ones that claim they voted are acting like they didn’t contribute at all to the voter apathy that screwed us over.
  13. Is it wrong that this is why I’m not going out of my way to be upset about Trump going after the college protestors? It is horrible, but what did they expect? We tried to warn them, and they didn’t care.
  14. Meg finally finds a boyfriend in the Giant Chicken’s son, whose family treats her better than hers ever did. But of course the status quo is always upheld, so we knew it was going to end. That ending was pretty awesome though…maybe Peter should think twice before ever messing with her again lol.
  15. I saw Life of Pi at my theater. Worth if only for the magnificent animal puppetry, and the set transitions were gorgeously seamless.
  16. I haven’t seen much remorse from the lefter-than-thou apathetic poseurs that sat out the election because the Democrats didn’t know-tow to their every demand.

    Disney Films

Say what you want, but I think we can all agree it’s good to see Lindsay Lohan healthy and happy. She seems to have gotten her life together and I never thought that would happen.
  18. And take your mommy with you.
  19. Watched it on Disney+ and it was fine. Yes, it clearly could have been better as a series, but better a movie than getting scrapped completely and letting everyone’s hard work go to waste. Even If the music was lame, I have to shake my head at everyone that bitched about this being a terrible sequel. You sweet summer children, I lived in the era of direct-to-video sequels. I’ve seen the most pointless, most OOC, terribly animated ones that Disney had to offer. Compared to those, this was nothing.
  20. I never thought of that before, but yeah, Lorraine does deserve kudos for that moment. Nobody in the world would’ve blamed her if she just ran when Biff’s attention was back on George, but she wasn’t going to let George get hurt after he stuck his neck out for her. And that goes a long way of explaining why she didn’t seem bothered by Biff being around as the McFly stooge in the new present despite what he did to her. Everybody deals with trauma differently, George stopped him before any damage was done, and like George, she wasn’t afraid of him anymore. Plus, I’m sure both of them got a secret rush out of seeing him brought down so low. Good for them.
  21. Ugh, should’ve known. Sorry!
  22. Finally got more specific casting:
