Keke Palmer, Nene Leakes & Sherri Shepherd Take Final Bows For Cinderella On Broadway

Legends, icons and role models, really ?

What about Fran Dresher and others involved with the production?

Sherri really gets herself out there!

Exactly, why weren't ALL the former cast members there, Sherri just has to be in the spotlight all the time...

Has Sherri never heard of over exposure? Someday the over exposure will bite her in the butt..............

grumble grumble grumble!  It's one thing to "stunt cast" dance trained actors like Christina Applegate, but this nonsense (with the exception of Palmer) just makes me want to hurl.  I know, I'm a broken record.

Wait i'm confused, so during this picture was Sherri an actual member of the cast that performed that night, or was she just hanging around and asked if she could go out and take a final bow for the closing, so they gave her a costume so she wouldn't look out of place?

I'm glad that Sherri is no longer on the panel b/c can you just imagine the discussion b/t Sherri and Whoopi about the upcoming Cinderella movie from Disney and those two bitching about why does Cinderella have to be white in the movie, we all saw how successful KeKe Palmer was in the role of an african-american Cinderella, and by association Sherri, and then they decide that the new movie is racist.

Look's like it was the latter CMH.  She's wearing street clothes in the photo posted above   although I understand why anyone would mistake Sherri's street clothes for a costume, lol.

Sherri has always annoyed the ever loving crap out of me, but the absolute hatred for this woman confuses me. I find her extremely ignorant, but I sincerely don't see a hateful person. She's very religious, and she doesn't have a lot of logic upstairs. I think that is where her dolty comments come from. In her heart, I just don't see a bad person. Just someone who hustles her ass off and doesn't stop no matter what. I have to give her that, and I wish her well. There are so much bigger fish out there that need to be fried. I don't get it, I really do not.

Is that what Sherri is doing these days - just cruising around places there might be a camera or at least a photo op she can tweet?  First, the last night of Cinderella now Meredith's show.  And how many shows did she hit before she found one that put on her, lol?    I wonder if Sherri ever replaced her manager after Sal left?

Sherri missed  her chance for a reality show  by divorcing Sal.  Jenny and Donnie have that new show Donnie loves Jennie.  We could have had Big Sal Loves Sherri. Those two crazy kids running around creating mischief and hijinx.

The candle of her 15 minutes of fame is about to extinguish itself.  I think she is looking very desperate.  I wish her well, I just don't want to see her on tv and I'm glad I have the choice not to watch anything that she is on.

In Sherri's defense, I'm sure she gets asked about the View because people are interested. But she should move on.

I do actually think Sherri tried to make a reality show out of her wedding planning. Some minor cable network (Style? Is that even still around?) ran a special about her wedding, which had the feel of hundreds of hours of footage cut down to one hour. And if I also remember correctly, she did drop hints about how great her life would be as a reality show, when she appeared on shows like Leno.

In my opinion, people are only interested in Sherri because of her stint on The View.  Otherwise, she's just another aging comic - supporting actor.

Breaking news: Elisabeth Hasselbeck says something ignorant (I know, shocking).

From Media Matters -

Charlie Hebdo Terror Attack In Paris

Fox's Elisabeth Hasselbeck Used French Attack To Criticize New York City Mayor De Blasio. During the January 7 edition of Fox News' Fox & Friends, network national security analyst KT McFarland blamed the shooting at Charlie Hebdo headquarters on France's "really strict gun control" and "politically correct" policies that treat everyone equally. Echoing disdain for such policies, co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck added that New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio threatens the city's security by demoralizing the New York Police Department and painting the NYPD with "a racist brush" when officers act on that principle. [Fox News, Fox & Friends, 1/7/15]

Bitsy is like a little kid who sits the adults' table once and then parrots the snips of conversation she heard but doesn't understand. It seems clear that Ailes et am are determined to make DeBlasio the bogeyman du jour. Why? He managed Hillary's first Senate campaign.

She and her friend have an interesting perspective on the France tragedy. I had no idea that strict gun control leads to office massacres. And are they aware that France takes a lot of criticism for policies that some view as anti-Muslim? (A ban on religious garb that some view as meant to target Muslim women's head scarves.) Sounds like Bits is right at home.

At least Elisabeth is spewing her garbage in her own habitat.  The fact that she was on the View for 10 years allowed to spout off her ridiculously stupid opinions/lies still baffles me.

I'm going to call bullshit on Sherri's statement.  She was all over the moon to finally be getting another husband. And if she did think she was making a mistake then why the fuck did she go ahead with a surrogacy agreement?   I will never believe a word that woman says.

I actually think Team Elisabeth attempted to transition her into a softer, gluten-free, mom-and-wife TV personality. She had a short-lived website that discussed fashion, music, books etc. They put her on GMA and Rachael Ray. But it didn't work, apparently, so Babs (probably) called in a favor to Ailes and voila.

I'm not a Fox News fan but I do respect Chris Wallace and think people like Greta and Megyn are intelligent and prepared. I think Bitsy has no personal interest in politics or understanding of current events. That's why I find her shrill, angry, often mocking mean-girl act on the View and now her show so uncomfortable. To get that worked up about something you don't care about or understand is disturbing.

Elisabeth has a "team" mentality.  She thinks she always has to support her team, in this case, the right wing of the Republican party.  She will always be in favor of what they want and against what they don't.

This is a  really interesting observation Mumbles.  I never thought about it that way but it makes sense to me, especially if you consider her first TV job after Survivor was some cable channel (Style?) Look for Less fashion/shopping show.

First Barbara comes back to the show in this new season ( more than once so far) and now Joy. I am looking forward to having Joy cohost for some shows, but really hope this doesn't signal a trend...I do NOT want to see Jenny, Sherrie or Elizabeth on the show ever again.

Sorry to hear about Whoopi's bad back - herniated disk issues can be really painful and debilitating and can take a while to get better.

Not sure where to put this. Looks like Whoopi is out next week and look who is filling in:

http://pagesix.com/2015/01/09/joy-behar-filling-in-for-whoopi-on-the-view/

Well, Joy did win the "most favorite" co-host of The View poll (out of all 18 past and present co-hosts) on Andy Cohen's WWHL live poll the other night.

This 'brand new' version of The View show  has been backsliding into The Spew all Fall, starting with basically changing the set back into the old one then adding multiple co-hosts on an almost daily basis,  and leaving Whoopi to ride roughshod over everyone as the moderator.   Now Babs is popping in.  I'm with CathyinAZ, I better not see Jenny or Sherri or especially Bitsy on this show ever again.

ETA: I should have read more than the headline - this same info about the WWHL poll was in the linked article.

Joy was one of the things I enjoyed about The View in its previous incarnations.  So I file bringing her back for a few shows under the category of "Don't Throw The Baby Out With The Bath Water."

I agree with everyone else.  I have no desire to see Sherri, Elisabeth, or Jenny back.  As long as I'm on a roll, I'd rather not see Mario Cantone more than once a month, Donald Trump, or any fifth "guest hosts."  I wouldn't mind BaWa a couple times a year, tops.

Sadly, I am putting Whoopi in this category as well.  I think I've seen enough of her.

I do watch Fox News. Not continuously. I go there for breaking news and I love The Five.  Love Brett Baier's 6pm show, because of the panel. Sometimes, even on local news shows, the network shows and cable shows (CNN, MSNBC) it just becomes one big blob of the same thing over and over and it is information overload.

So are you saying you like some fiction and bile mixed in with your news? I agree that Bitsy is in her element where she is now rather than on the View where her pov was occasionally challenged.

I love Joy, so I'm okay with a bit of backsliding.  I much prefer Joy over the current iteration of Whoopi, so it's all good.

I think things with Sherri and Jenny are probably too raw to see them anytime soon and I sincerely doubt that RO who is supposed to have some sort of pull in the background now would allow Bitsy's return.  I think we're okay there, for now.

Glad that Joy will be filling in! There's no way that Bitsy would be asked to appear. Just. No. Way. She was only there for Babs' last show.  Jenny's too busy loving Donnie.  But I don't think Sherri would turn down an invitation. Ever.

I think Sherri really screwed herself when she made those bizarre and mean "jokes" about Rosie's depression. I doubt Rosie would want her on the show after that. But if it raised ratings, it would happen...but I don't think Sherri coming back would significantly raise the ratings.

Mumbles, that was another "lesson" given to Sherri by Niecy Nash.   Niecy's wedding was bought and paid for (probably) by a TV network and she told Sherri how to get the same deal.   Sherri and Sal had a wedding they couldn't afford, thanks to the Style Network and it reportedly had great ratings, “Wedding Fabulous: Sherri Shepherd Gets Married.”   Hope she keeps a good scrapbook.

Holy hell, according to the schedule posted for next week, Babs is showing up AGAIN next Friday.

Geezus, the woman dedicated an entire season to herself and her 'victory lap' on this damn show and yet keeps coming back to soak up the applause and adoration like some sort of vampiric famewhore.  Sorry Babs, you sucked up my supply of both years ago.  I don't even find her snarkworthy; at this point it's just annoying.

Barbara's visit on Friday was fine, but certainly not something I need regularly. I'm surprised they're booking her so often.

I'm sorry Cha Cha died, but I gotta say, I thought it was rather tasteless of her to bring up her dog's death immediately after Cristela mentioned her mother's passing.

Try to stay positive here, Friday's show is usually the worst of the week but.............we do NOT need BaaWaa back for any time period.

Maybe she & Sherri could start a show together, "Two Hasbeens Still Looking for Adoration"

And yet, totally unsurprising behavior - at least for the old Spew, where rudeness and Barbara Walters ruled.

Ugh!! She is just the worst! Working her ass off doing whatever she can to support herself and her son.. What a bitch..

Lol redlaces.

She has two books in the works?  I'd like to see her read two books.   Good grief, she's about on par with the Real Housewives at this point.

Still, if I was in the middle of a divorce settlement with some gold-digging pig like Sal I probably wouldn't be tweeting about all the work I have lined up.  Dumbass.
