I never liked bras, and only wore them to work reluctantly when the nips no longer looked skyward.  My 20 year old male coworker had a better solution than the dreaded bra: duct tape the nips, cut off the ends of a Q-Tip & glue them up high - instant youth!  Gotta love those young mechanics, eh.  :-)

This is a bit TMI for me, but it's a great tip(s) for Kristen.

She is a trashy, chicken-shit pig.  She seriously deserves all of the 'bad luck' she is having, because it's not luck - it's the chickens of her bad character finally coming home to roost.

She seems proud of being slutty.  Hey, sluts don't bother me.  I actually applaud that trait.  But she seems really sleazy tho -- which I don't care for.  And she doesn't seem to care at all she could be deeply embarrassing her young daughter, by making her slutiness so public.

Well, behind the slutty aura & the Grey Gardens shit, there lies a con artist.  And that ain't pretty.  I don't think the producers want us to see Sonja as the lying con artist she is, cuz then nobody would give a crap about her anymore.

I think all of the Victoria Secret pushup bras that we have been inundated with in the past 10 years have made Kristen's slight sag look way out of place.  Instead we are used to the totally unnatural look of the pushup which defies the laws of nature.

I think Kristen did her job - she reported back like any good HW would do.  Why have the facialist say it if it doesn't get back to Luann and Carole on camera?

And why shouldn't Kristen be pissed at Aviva for getting out of the trip?  Labor Day weekend in the Hamptons is a fun time for those with lots of money and connections. If the others had to deal with leaving their families why should Aviva get out of it?  Of course Kristen should've realized that they all would enjoy the trip much more without her, but I get the feeling that none of these women were too keen on heading out to Montana that weekend.

Bingo! That's why I wondered if Kristen's breasts were expected to be right under her clavicle.

If she did get implants after the birth of Kingsley, there also seems to be expectation that the implants would have pushed them to damn near under her chin. There are different kinds of implants, after all. Not every woman comes out looking like a porn star. Maybe her breasts were flatter after having nursed (I'm just speculating; I don't know if she nursed her children) and she simply wanted the boobs to be a bit rounder than they were and wasn't looking for a lift, per se.

I don't think her breasts detract from the awesome way she dresses. At least it doesn't for me. I'm still gaga over the outfit she wore to LuAnn's (?) friend's place--the striped skirt, the white tank, and the peep toe heels.

I reeeally hope Aviva wasn't hired for this show as a W-2 employee, because I can totally see her threatening a retaliatory discharge or Americans With Disabilities claim if/when Bravo (or the production company) attempts to give her the ax.

I've worked in nursing homes and women age better with a little extra body fat. They are healthier too. So, as you age, fat is protective of your health and your looks. So, start eating ladies.

Unless your name is Kyle Richards who, despite being thin and fit, gets called "chubby" because she's 5'2" and surrounded by the likes of bean pole Brandi and Yolanda.

Maybe part of the 'problem' is  that some (most?) of the Hos and many people in general (me) have is that in our youth we don't think that time is ever going to catch up with us.

Not wearing a bra because you're essentially flat chested, tanning because you never burn, not taking care of your feet, eating for 5 when you're pregnant just because you can, sub-par dental hygiene, crappy eating habits overall - it all catches up, duh.  Sure the media promotes the high boobs, over toned bodies, and glowing sun-kissed skin but the media/internet can also provide any one who wants it the info to help themselves look and feel better when they hit middle age and things just start to naturally fall apart.

My feet have always been flat.  Had I known then what I know now I would've worn those expensive prescription orthotics that my mom bought for me when I was 17.  But they didn't fit in my 'cute' shoes.  Or in flip flops. LOL  Youth is wasted on the young.

I think Kristen looks beautiful.  But I'll bet at 52 she'll wish she'd worn a bra. And divorced Josh sooner.

I recall her being quite perturbed when one of the Ho's introduced her to the limo driver as LuAnn instead of the Countess.

You are remembering this incorrectly.   LuAnn asked Bethanney to introduce her as Mrs. de Lesspes.   Which I think is totally appropriate for a 40+ women to request.   LuAnn has had her moments of snobbery, but I think she gets a bad rap for that clip.

The producers were totally messing with Aviva with the wheelchair thing.   It seems to me that the producers were miffed she wasn't going and bring the crazy with her.  Used Heather and Kristen to sell us the story.   But despite how crazy Aviva is there is still a legit reason for her to use a wheelchair so not as funny.   The producers used to do this a lot with the original OC show.  The HW would say something like how clean her kitchen is switch to a shot of dirt in the kitchen.  That stuff was funny, but the people on these reality shows got wise to that stuff.

Well, this was discussed extensively on the BH thread on TWOP.  Kyle is hardly chubby, but she doesn't necessarily dress in the most flattering way.  And Olive Oyl would look chubby standing next to Brandi.  While Yolanda at least looks athletic, I get the impression both have major eating disorders.  Anyhoo, when Lu was walking away from Sonja in disgust (something I would do too), I was noticing what an incredible body she has.  And she's nearly 50!

Poor Moaner.  Guess menopause has left her with that pot belly.  You would think Heather might hand over some of her Yummy Tummy crap & help her out with that pooch.  She could hide the belly somewhat if she didn't insist on wearing those 80's blue satin dresses she must have 50 billion of.

I agree.  I think they ordered it for her just in case she might need it.  Aviva seems to always try to portray herself as not being handicapped -- and being able to do just about anything someone who has both their legs can do.  If she weren't such an awful, awful, awful person, I'd very much admire her for this.  But she's nasty, horrible & evil, so I couldn't possibly admire her for anything.

I suspect the producers thought they were justified in mocking her cuz she was able to manipulate her way outta the trip -- whether her asthma excuse was bullshit or not.  The prob for the producers is they set themselves up for Veevs to point out how "cruel" they were being by mocking a handicapped person.  I don't think it's a surprise to anyone Andy Cohen is actually a truly evil bitch.  But I kinda doubt he wants that shit spotlighted.  Oh man, he & the other producers must really, really, really hate Veevs now.  I'm thinkin' she can join Alex, Kelly, Jillzy, Cindy, Gretchen & Slade, Alexis Bellino & Lynne Curtain on the Housewives unemployment line.  She may need the wheelchair then.

Aviva has been an amputee since she was a child. Her leg muscles are more than used to controlling her prosthesis. And I don't see why she would have any swelling for 5 hr (?) flight. There's no reason to think her amputated leg would be a problem casually walking through a small airport. I think the wheelchair was mocking her inability to breathe at the not very high elevation.

My sister's a hypochondriac, the well is deep for all the problems not commonly suffered by the average person.

Possibly.  I really don't get it.  Maybe they figured the audience probably hates her & would relish the opportunity to laugh at any kind of mocking of Veevs.  But wheelchair jokes are risky no matter how ya cut it.  I can see Joan Rivers & Kathy Griffin (or Seinfeld & Larry David) going there.  They're willing to take the risk.  Anyone else?  Not so much.

So, producers -- you really think I'm gonna laugh at someone's handicap?  Even someone as miserable & hateful as Avivia?  Er, no, I'm not.  Are the producers assuming the audience is as evil & horrible as Veevs?  Thanks a fuckin' lot, producers, for assuming that.  Eh, it's yet another producer fail for this show.  They sure are taking a lot of hits (or more like misses) this season.  I see the ratings going down, down, down . . .

I don't read anything into the wheelchair at the airport.  Someone from the production office books those flights and when asked if any of the passengers have any special needs, they probably, and smartly, said that Aviva has a prosthetic leg.   The production person was probably asked if they preferred a bulkhead or aisle seat and a wheelchair.  They probably said yes.  Why not?  Just in case.  This is Aviva we're dealing with and the production person has no idea of how large the destination airport is or how Aviva is going to feel after a long flight.

I also think the asthma was a convenient excuse.  She somehow manages to survive living in NYC with it.  She thought she could do it at first but then realized she couldn't do it not having Reid there to take care of her.

As for Kristen's breasts.  I hate the term 'boob'.  They're breasts.  Kristen has a long torso and is very long waisted.  To me her breasts are just placed naturally in a lower position.  They don't seem to sag.  They're just low.

I agree with your hypothesis here, but the producers edited this in a way to mock Veevs.  Hey, Seinfeld & Larry David made wheelchair jokes, but they did it in a way so as NOT to mock someone's handicap.  That isn't just cruel.  It puts the audience in the position of being expected to laugh at someone's handicap.  Fuck you, producers, for doing this.  First you want me to laugh at some old man grinning while sexually molesting various women, and now this?  Any wonder ratings are nose-diving?  You're losing your touch, Andy Cohen.  And your bitchy streak is becoming way, way, way obvious now (if it wan't already).

Maybe saggy is the wrong word I will borrow from Chelsea Handler who use to refer to one of her staff writers as Heather Long Boobs McDonald.  Or in the case of Kristen-Kristen Long Siclicone Breasts Taekman.  They aren't saggy they are just long.

I gather that, as a woman ages, her breasts form a tear-drop shape as gravity takes over.  I think that's what's happened to Kristen albeit a little prematurely,  I learned this from the guy who did my breast reduction and lift.  (Best $$$$ I ever spent...)

I personally, just wish that Kristen would be better about wearing a bra in general. I as a TV viewer should not be able to look at her and question whether or not she is wearing a bra, or tell outright that she isn't.

Of course, I have also had the uncomfortable task  of sitting down with an employee I managed and someone from HR as the HR rep explained that it was expected that she would wear a bra to work as part of the "newly updated" dress code. So, I may be biased.

Every last one of the Hos has shown their seething bitch sides.  The two times that Kristen has shown hers, (and there may be more but I'm only 1/2 in this season) she was imitating someone else's poor behavior.

When she came downstairs after dealing with Sonja at Saratoga, Lulu hands her a glass of wine and Kristen proceeds to dramatically imitate what Sonja just said.  I think Kristen is beautiful and we joke about her 'O' face but that was the first time I saw her Ugly face.  It was much, much worse, imo than when Bethenny imitated Jill.

Then, this epi, in the bedroom while packing, describing her conversation with Aviva to Josh, the same venomous, twisted mouth, exaggerated imitation of what Aviva said.  She might be preetttty on the outside but there's some uggggleee on the inside.

Couple that with her BFF status with Brandi and I think she has the capacity to be an awesome villain.

Maybe I can have my daughter tell her. I just found out yesterday that Kristin and Josh will attending the wedding of my daughter's SIL. The groom and Josh are good friends. She (the bride) said they are both great people and she was shocked they decided to be on a Bravo. I did tell her that he comes across like dick in most episodes (just the ones he's in). What a boring show.  Even though Montana was fabulously beautiful, it's no place for the housewives to go.  We knew they'd ride horses and things like that.  And while the place they stayed was beautiful, I have a feeling it's a more 'you have to be there to really enjoy it' type place.  I didn't think it translated to a small screen very well.  (it did make me want to put it on my To Visit places though)  The girls being cowgirls was so yawn inducing....  I guess I was spoiled and expect every getaway to be another Scary Island.

And why has this become the Kristin Show?!  She's the new girl, why is she included in so many scenes and TH's? She bores me to death with that silly O face and scurrying around with gossip like a 12 yr old at a slumber party.  I LOVE this show and they are ruining it.

Probably because she came to work. It seems that the producers really like the women who come and are all in--going to events, hosting events, really participating in the interview segments. It's kind of like when people have a dream list of RHOBH cast members that excludes Kyle. The list will only ever be a dream though. The producers will never get rid of Kyle because she has ties with most of the women and she goes all in with hosting things or showing up to something another HW has hosted.

So, Kristen is doing her job right now--she's hosting, she's attending, she's developing friendships with most of the women and is mixing it up with others. She's a producer's dream.

I'm not getting the breast thing with Kristen. They look pretty normal to me. I think the only reason it's noticble at all is that all of the filming took place during summer (and a very hot summer) so Kristen is wearing a lot of light weight, thin strap stuff with a strapless bra. Most people aren't as perky with a strapless bra. I still think Kristen is gorgeous. Annoying, but gorgeous.

Kristen is a show up to work RH-that is all.  She is also the attendance  monitor.  Taekmans have no real money and Kristen's career consists of wrangling as many appearances and endorsements as she can during her tenure on the show.  I would like to think they could find someone in NY that was at least interesting.  Kristen is confrontational-to the point it makes no sense because she has nothing invested in these relationships.  She is also a whine up toy.  Point a camera in her direction and she goes to full on whine.

I guess I just miss the old days of the Housewives shows when we saw them doing things in their daily lives that seemed real.  Brandi and Kristin seem to have been added for manufactured drama.  Neither one brings anything to the show for me-- just a lot of confrontation and nonsense.  I realize most of these shows are manufactured by the producers, and I can see Andy gleefully laughing at these two women and thinking that's what people want to see and what brings ratings.  Obviously we don't want to see that from the dismal ratings....

I miss these days too. I think the problem is when the first few fights broke out and people reacted, Bravo decided they needed to keep that kind of thing going. And now it's gone downhill so much that I think the show is attracting the kind of cast members who LIKE to bring drama and stir it up. The more classy, interesting women aren't exactly going to be flocking to this show now.

Zoeysmom why do you think they have no money?  What's the deal with their financial status?

I'm obviously not Zoeysmom, but they rent don't they? People with money do not rent unless it is a temporary situation like the Dubrows from OC who are renting while their hotel .....er I mean house, is being built.

I think Kristen brings nothing. I am sick of her manufactured drama, her husband is a dick and she is a whiner. This was my favorite franchise but as far as I am concerned right now they could sack the entire cast, except the Countess, and start over.

I really wouldn't miss any of them.

This, perhaps at least partly explains the dismal rating.

I guess I am totally in the minority. Because with the exception of the episodes with Aviva's dad, I have been enjoying the hell out of this season.

I'd like to see more of the housewives' homes, but I loved the stuff in the Hamptons, Heather's Berkshires house, and I am liking the views and lodgings in Montana.

The story lines run from petty (bookgate), to sincere (Heather's son's health issues), to ridiculous (Ramona and her childhood flashbacks). But aside from the grossness with George, nothing has been so super awfully serious (like the Guidices Legal troubles, or Phaedra and Apollo's legal troubles).

And the cast chemistry is excellent too. Well, except Aviva relationships with the other women are just so either forced or toxic. But, yeah, other than the stuff with George, I really don't have any complaints about this season. It's been entertaining and has given me something new to talk about each week.

Aw, darn.  I kinda took the anti-gossip spreading stance on last ep's "Facialist Fiasco" or w/e (doubt I'm pet-naming any petty argument "-gate" ever again) so I can hardly beg favor for the tea on them IRL.  Hmm.... but I'm already here, and isn't this but a form of gossip, I wonder.

I think Josh earns a pretty good living but I don't think he has made it.  They rent, have no second home-all things fine in our society and probably the norm but for me, I like to see a little wealth or making a living around the finer things in life to be cast on the show.  This show may be the break out opportunity Josh's business needs.  Using the show as a springboard to obtain the wealth isn't really what I want in a RH.  Expanding their brand great but just to go on and get endorsements-not so much. It worked for Bethenny Frankel but I always kind of cringe when I see people putting on airs.  Teresa Giudice comes to mind-and "at the end of the day" it has not served her well.

It's been better than the other HW seasons for me, each of which have had huge glaring issues imo.  This one was sexual harassment = all in good fun.  I'd like to see more of their homes, too.  Maybe a couple of them will open up their medicine cabinets as well, haha - nah, kidding.  But yes, loved Heather & fam's heartwarming scenes the best, I was actually really moved.

I wonder how far Sonja's delusions go? Like, does she watch the episodes and see how horrible she is and then just fluffs it off as it's all for the show in her blog? Or, doe she truly believe the crazy shit she says in her blog?

I keep remembering the Scary Island episode, when she realized that Kelly was really having some kind of breakdown. She phrased it as "this is a woman who has lost the run of herself." And, it was a perfect description of Kelly at the time. It seems to be even an even more accurate description of Sonja's current behavior.

I wonder if that phrase runs through her head when she watches the episodes, or if she, like Kelly, thought that her behavior were perfectly reasonable and justified?

I can't believe such a pretty woman was told she has a pooch by her husband and that she needed botox by coworkers. Most women would kill to look like Kristen. I never really noticed anything about her breasts specifically either way but did think she has that great model figure.
